@lQtasticl put sylicone on the bottom ring of the distributor cap and some dialectric grease on the wires will prevent this from happening

@lQtasticl ...keep you some WD-40 in your toolbox ...when u get water in your distibutor take the cap off and sray it down with WD-40 and then wipe it out with a shop rag.....then fire it up and have fun!!!
