  • Yes, it is rather poor. That is a good suggestion. Thanks!

  • Poor acoustics! Please do over with a lapel mic and scripted narration and close-ups of what he's talking about.

  • @hettygreene this is you tube. you want a retake. well, so does your wife but i dont hear her bitching about it.

  • thanks for taking the time to do this

  • How many dollar for this machine for 3 metric por 8 hour for day for jatropha

  • @croplandbiodiesel

Sir can you brief me about this machine. i want to grow jetropha seeds but i have no idea about producing oil. can you help me, and tell me about machine which is suitable for 2 Acre land. Please give me detailed information about machine and price because i am contact you from PAKISTAN. I'll be very thankful to you.

    Regards:

    Farzan Aslam

  • How much is it the cost this machine new ?

  • roughly it will require .005 cents a gallon of electricity.

  • what did you say?

  • Electric Power at .7kw for 24 hours = $2.25 divided by 24 = .10¢ an hour (CLB-500 does 20 gallons an hour) = .005¢ a gallon

(note this is to run the press and the heaters combined off of a 10 hp electric motor)

Not much is wasted through this process.

  • So how much electric energy are we using (wasting) and the cost of it, to produce minimal "biodiesel"?!

  • @JeepCrazyMe I suppose if your worried about (wasting) electricity you and shut down your computer and hand crank a press for a minimal amount of oil.

  • at the current price per bushel of soybean wouldnt you be better off to sell the crop and buy fuel ? seems like I read somewhere it takes a acre of soybean (40 bushels @ $9.50 bushel) to make 48 gallons of oil...

  • @dwingsfan if your making your own oil, its more about sustainability and better practices for our economy and environment.

  • me and my friend we are in 7th grade we have to make a our own biodiesel so if anyone has videos about it tell me

  • awesome

  • I want to make virgin coconut oil...will this unit produce this?

  • Also you have a by-product of soybean meal that can be fed to livestock or sold.

  • Yeah, To get some natural process to run the press. I think most communial type people forget the portatability factor of oil based fuel. You really can't run your tractor on solar yet. Kinda got to wait for technoligy to catch up with some of the wildass dreams people have these days.

  • Forgive my ignorance but arnt you using that huge machine to produce a trickle of oil?

It seems like your putting as much energy in as you are getting out.

  • @hablerz not if you operate the machine with a diesel generator powered by biodiesel or waste vegetable oil.

  • @hablerz If you use wind or solar electricity (I think that press in the vid is a electric) then not really. And think about how much oil you get per ton of crop. 100 gals. That's a hell of a lot of fuel.

  • @benzlover55 I suppose if you had a wind generator it would make sence.

  • I read that it takes 25% of a farmers land to produce enough bio-diesel to run a farm. is this true and how can a farmer make ends meat with 1/4 of his land tied up?

  • Great extruder ,can this extruder used for press oil for food not biodeasil

  • We also sell wind turbines as well and are working on a wind powered press... Please stay tuned!

  • @croplandbiodiesel

I am an engineer helping a business that has imported a chineese made 6yl 68 press, we are haveing trouble pressing Flax seed. machine came with little instruction and there is no local knowledge, are you able to help?

  • Nice to see but Vslow process compared to petroluem, needs to be larger cooperative run machinery.

Using food oils could also make things worse with destruction of old forests for more veg oil mono crops , hemp grows almost anywhere& algae is in water allover the planet

Geothermal, wind power& solar are best options,

  • GReat to seebut, seems to be a slow trickle , we all have to share transport alot more & drive less.

This is a food source thats being used too.

Unless veg oil is made on a larger scale from micro algae & maybe hemp environmentally sustainably & with larger machinery ran cooperatively how can it compete with petroluem oil?

  • We are not trying to change the world's use of petroleum products. Our goal is to help farmers become energy independent. Back in the earlier days of farming, farmers used 10% of their land to feed their horses/workers... Now that 10-15% of their land can go towards an oil seed crop and using our presses they can create their own supply of fuel on their farm. Yes, it is a small trickle but it does add up and our numbers do not lie. This is a 3 ton press and it can do that in a 24 hr period.
