Thanks much misseverything2! I heard DJ Bailey drop this in Melbourne, Australia, circa 98-99 and spent the next 5 years searching for it on the internet. Only result I got was a listing on a DnB playlist. Found the original mix on a Rachid CD at some warehouse CD sale in 2005. Had long given up hope. Then there was YouTube....

this is supernice. clearyxxx is saying he hopes rider is not gettin too much of a tough time in prison in dubai, surely you know about that?

if not look it up, he was banged up a few weeks ago for 4 YRS for a drugs offence, tiny amount of weed on him but they don't play around in dubai, on the one hand they want to promote it as a new party capital, and on the other they enforce draconian laws on drugs and presumably drink too...

This is one of the last true great D&B tracks. It's incredible, really reminds me of Robert Owens 'Tears' but even better. Can't believe it never got released. Specially when you consider how jarringly bad mondern D&B has got. Release Grooverider, and his 10 year old remix!
