ok, so you change the dpi to 300, how do u change it back 2 72?

Can you help me? I am making a cover for a book. when in photoshop I select a preset: a5 with 300 dpi cus that is good voor printing. When I enter word and choose background pic the image is immense, also when I view its properties it says: 1748 x 2480.:S

@marty552 try selecting the layer with the photo on it and resizing that layer (press ctrl+T)

ok... so i saved my image at 300dpi... and when i save the image as jpeg and i go into properties it says it only has 96dpi? why is that?

I had created an advert 126x178 at 70 dpi(default) but the client wants it at 300 dpi or above now when i change as you show, the image grows massive and very blur'y, got an easy remedy for that without starting again?

@xiaoxiao666 It sounds like your Resample Image box is checked. it needs to be UNCHECKED.
