They're incomparable...have you ever tried to play any meshuggah? meshuggah is not about the speed (although, check out "bleed" which is insane). thomas haake plays in ridiculous time signatures and polyrhythms.. he wasn't voted best metal drummer for nothing. vitak was about blasting and double bass and he was a machine at it. but neither of them could play each other's stuff cos its so different. meshuaggah plays some of the most techinical and creative music ever..

Ya, I think summer slaughter let them use gear. I remember every drummer except marco, used the TAMA set. Only thing the drummers brought with them were cymbols and their snares. Because some of the drummers wanted to use two bass drums and some wanted to use the double pedals. Summer slaughter got them axis pedals to use. So as you can see here vitek wanted to use two bass drums and the two axis pedals that were givin to the drummers to use :)
