  • Thats not a wolf or a coyote, its a godamm rooster

  • Good video.

  • You should have shot it, especially if you like seeing turkeys!

  • Its a yote, stop arguing, pretty damn good video if you ask me

  • Curious coyote is curious...

    and fluffy ^_^

  • Had a ppack or coyotes in hickory last night all u heard was them howling like crazy and shit goin to tthe store 2morrow to look at a new 12 or 20 gage

  • it looks very much like what we have here in northern ontario, " coy- dog" wild crossbreed, not afraid of people and larger than normal coyotes.

  • Is he staring at little Red Riding Hood ?

  • best intimate coyote footage i ever saw, a great job bro

  • It is NOT NOT NOT a Coyote goddammit. It's a turkey. You should have shot it. Some "turkey hunter" you are... :)

  • Thank you not slay ...

  • Why didnt you shoot him?

  • Samsqauntch

  • its not a wolf, its a damn big foot I tell you

  • so cute!

  • its beautiful

  • and i saw a roach in your camera lol

  • He was messin with you. Merry prangsters

  • Buck yeah!

  • Why didn't you shoot him?

  • iv heard negro people eat these with with bbq sauce

  • Shoulda plugged the fucker....

  • Pretty good looking yote, saw one tonight in the city haha:P was a pretty big f**ker too:P

  • Curiosity killed the... well, good thing that wasn't a cat I guess. Very cool video starring Wiley! Hahahaaaa!

  • should have shot the thing. aint nothin but a pest.

  • just a coyote with a very full coat, I would have shot him immediately ,

  • Thanks for not shooting him just because you could have. Thanks so much!!! Really cool video!!!

  • Aw coyotes are sooo cute they kinda look like a norwegian elkhound (which I have) that makes me feel sad that people hunt them :,(((

  • @Cupcakeslover5384 It makes me feel sad when i see them rip apart fawns that are defenseless.

  • This is a coyote not a wolf... wolves are way bigger than coyotes and domesticated dogs (depending on the dog breed)

  • looked like a smaller wolf. not a coyote im 100% certain

  • @shootduckrun

I've seen coyote's in real life, And believe me, This is a coyote.

  • Not a wolf. Im not sure what a hybrid looks like but I have seen mother coyotes with there pups in orangeville ontario during November with less of a coat than that. Possibly hybrid? But definitely a coyote.

  • @fripp555 Eastern Coyotes are hybrids with up to 80% wolf in their genes. Many groups of them look and act like wolves rather than coyotes that are not hybrid. There have been over 150 recorded attacks on humans in North America and one confirmed predatory death( Taylor Mitchell).

  • @xn117: thats because it wasnt hunting. Its obvious by its behavior. It merely seems that way but if you know their behavior better you would know this to be true.

  • you people cant be serious in thinking that is a wolf? come on out to idaho and get a look at a wolf. they are absolutely huge and in no way can be mistaken for a yote.....or vice versa.

  • @idahochas yea i go to idaho evry summur

  • @idahochas yeah, idaho those are straight up grey wolves. Eastern wolves were never the beasts that straight up grey wolves are. And fyi, the only thing that separates a wolf and a coyote is one thing. Wolves pack hunt period. Coyotes rarely pack hunt and don't pack all year round like a wolf. Eastern Coyotes stay packed up longer or don't break up at all. They're an inbetween. Not afraid of people, take larger game as a pack. wolves in s.ontario aren't very big either.

  • What a beautiful coyote! He does look kinda wolfish, really just because of his size. But look at look at his snout....way too long and narrow to be a wolf. Wolves are alot stockier than this and their faces are much larger and more square. Gorgeous animal, what a cool experience for whoever got to film this.

  • it stalks like a cat.

  • yeah if that was a wolf ti would not have ran away like that

  • that a wolf retard

  • @stevealatalo11 Its not a wolf. Wolves are way bigger and they have (most) distinct contrast between the dark and light colours on their fur.

  • Thats a coyote, no wolf or wolf hybrid. He does look very curious..Not aggressive. Just wondering what you are.

  • Comment removed

  • Did you get paid by Animal Planet for this footage? I sure hope so.

  • arn't you glad you hadn't dozed off.

  • @indicasativafusion Nah man he's just still got his winter coat that's all. Turkey seasons early enuf in the spring to where they've still got it. I see em this size and even a lil bigger all thru deer season in Louisiana. And we don't have any wolves so there ain't no hybrids

  • possible hybrid?

  • Coyote for sure. cause if it was a wolf it would look more like a husky.

  • @JHoward393 right these people dont know there asshole from a hole in the ground lol cyot all day

  • thats why i have a nice savage arms 270 handy...

  • It's definitely a coyote. Anybody that's an outdoor enthusiast will tell you so. I bet most of you that are sayin it's a wolf have never even stepped foot in the woods.

  • @Cntryby86 looks like a coyote hybrid to me bro

  • @Cntryby86 how about stepping foot into a zoo where wolf and coyote's cage lines up and has a big board providing their info for u to learn and practice to visually distinguish their kinds? Would that work?

  • It's a wolf

  • that was a close call.

  • what is it doing out there

  • they will attack from behind. and they do think you are food.

  • ohh the coyote looks like its saying ohhh im going to kill you. wait you probably dont taste good. haha xD

  • next time kill it or at least try

  • This is definitely a wolf. Once the wolf realized that his target was a human, the wolf went about its business.

  • @werewolfmanjackal if it was a wolf it would be bigger... it also would most likely have a pack and also wouldnt have turned back a wolves are 10x as agressive and they have territorries witch coyotes dont if a man would get into a wolves terroties the wolf would either kill him or die trying to there for you are wrong

  • that guys lucky he was not really attacked i would have left it alone until it charged me then it would have gotten that 12g to its face i woulda had shit in my pants blood on my face and that wolf looking coyote wouldn't have a head anymore he could have easily been overpowered sitting down like that i think he just froze up i think any one would have pulled the trigger in that situation

  • lol he was like stay off my turf man that was a warning lololollololol

  • he doesnt even attack him soo stupid gonna look up actuall ATTACKS!!!!!

  • He just want to play ;)

  • Has anybody yelled "OMG ANIMAL ABUSE" yet?

  • no shit he is going to attack a guy that hunts turkeys

  • where was this?

  • hes like

" come at meh bro! "

  • It's Jake from new moon! Lol

  • Absolutely Amazing Video!

  • He looked just like my cat when she's playing! She's like "Ready, set, go, turn"! ><

  • A lot of the coyotes in eastern North America have are actually coyote-wolf hybrids, so the people crying wolf may not be that off target.

  • @wicaco You are correct, Most Eastern Coyotes are hybrids and of the Eastern Coyotes that have been genetically tested, some groups have as much as 80% wolf genes.

  • Too small to be a wolf, definately a coyote.

  • @kbudinsk you are right

  • I'd say that's a wolf...

  • that must be jacob from new moon.

  • This is definatly a wolf.........not a coyote.. Wolves have pretter faces, Coyotes noses are thinner and longer. I had a full blooded wolf and crossed her with a Husky, georgous Hybrid pups. So i know my wolves and this is definatly a wolf, a beautiful one as well.

  • It's easy, just point the gun/bow at the wolf instead of the turkeys, and fire away.

    Problem solved.

  • @Alexper12 heyy num nuts it was a a coyote and i bet u never fired a gun i know all about guns and it pisses me off wen ppl tell ppl that never fired a gun like your self tells us what to do and how to do it

  • i wouldve waxed that ass (with my gun)

  • que bello animal es el coyote

  • Coyotes near my house....

They poop in my yard and one time at night I let my dog out, he's a golden retriever, and one coyote just sniffed him lol.

  • This is freaky because a resident on Eddington Drive's dog was killed by something just leaving the paws and head. It was so sad.

  • i don't think "attack" is a good word to describe this video

  • It is an eastern coyote. Look it up at google and u can easily see the resemblance.

  • Cool Video

  • @PokeurSelf

& 42 people are just not very smart :p

  • communicating with his ears

  • why was the gun left on the ground ? and why is it in the mud ?

  • Definately a coyote. Coyotes are fast like that, wolves aren't as skittish. Plus look at the body. It would be a bigger animal if it was a wolf, right?

  • That's the most wolf looking coyote I've ever seen.

  • That is not no damn wof LOL It is a large cyot befor it loses its winter coat . LOL we have them all over in Pa very commen to see them during any hunting season WOLF LOL

  • He could have fired a warning shot, but then he would have scared away the turkeys.

  • Turkey heard you were coming and ordered a hit on you with the wolf mafia.

  • [[In my best Ace Ventura voice]] Hi, I'm looking for Ray Finkle aaaand a clean pair of shorts.

  • I want one as a pet so bad .. you have no idea

  • @Dwaynesname30 get a dog?

  • @totoroben Dogs are boring compared to a wolf or coyote .. I wanna hear some howling at night

  • wolf

  • i dont think i would get afraid of a coyote , but i gues they coyote was kinda big looked a little bit like a wolflol interesting video

  • I'm a zoologist, that is most definitely a wolf. You can sometimes tell just by the sheer bulk, husky size of the animal.

  • WOLF

  • That is a wolf, the turkey hunter prolly has a sack full of dead golden eagles and thinks thanksgiving has come early!

  • That's definitely a coyote. Its got the face of a coyote.

  • thats a wolf not a coyote

  • WELL DONE, GREAT AUDIO TOO, I often see beautiful nature videos spoiled by music. congratulations from Argentina

  • why are you sitting in the wide open for turkey hunting

  • why did you not shoot him? And thats a wolf

  • I definitely would have shot him

  • wolf for sure

  • @Whitetaildaddy yea u maybe right his nose was pretty long

  • @Whitetaildaddy naw its an Eastern Coyote bruh

  • @Whitetaildaddy ur wrong dude stick to huntin deer

  • @jjrrhh11 Maybe i am, i wasnt there. Just looks like a pretty big dog. whatever it is

  • @Whitetaildaddy u got that right one of the bigger cyotes i seen in a long time but if a wolf was standin next to that it would dworf that thing ,, its just got a good coat on it thats all

  • its a fricken coyote you tards wolves are alot stockier

  • thats a wolf not coyote. its a grey wolf

  • thats a wolf not coyote

  • funny shit

  • That is one gorgeous coyote that's so wolflike my gosh:)

  • I would hav killed it, in north carolina u can hunt them year round and at 3:30 there is a bug tht is crawling on the lense

  • so im pretty sure thats a wolf, not a coyote aaha

  • That was so cool!

  • any reason you didnt kill it? In nova scotia we can hunt them year round, I would have taken that bastard if i was hunting anything. I see a yote he's dead.

  • @harveykarisma1 I live in nova scotia and have walked the same trail she died on. You have the same chances of getting stomped by a moose there as you do a coyote attack. A "small" piece isnt going to stop that. And to let you know she was in a National park so any guns are prohibited from there. We dont need handguns for protection, I carry a pump shotgun into the woods because I hunt these fuckers. I'll go into the same deep woods and camp for 3 days without a gun. She died because she ran

  • Wow! That was beautiful, You got guts man. Good job!

  • I think this might be a Coywolf

  • the mistake would have been that coyote coming that close to me when i was hunting bc he would have got a face full of lead

  • coglione

  • This looks like a wolf to me!!!???

  • pang!!!! a god dog....looks like the swedish wolf

  • Looks like the coyotes up here in nova scotia... They're western coyote mixed with timberwolf , they range in the 50 to 75 pound area...

  • that looks like a wolf

  • he probably thought that turkey was a roadrunner! and you were probably getting in his way!.

  • Bang. That's all she wrote folks.

  • Silly people, this man knows what he saw, and what species he has in his area. It's a yote.. No doubt about it. You can get a good look at it's coloring in 1:36. See the red behind the ears and on the muzzle? The saddleback dark grey and you can see the dark tipped bushy tail when it runs down towards him. Just a great furred yote. Wish the fur got like that on them down here in the south. I've never gotten one that nice looking!

  • Good footage. I,ve had that happen while mule deer hunting muzzle loader season. It is a strange feeling.

  • Just curious ... why didn't you shoot the coyote?

(Around here it's open season for coyotes year round... Some municipalities even pay $100 bounty for each one you kill.)

Shoot a coyote, save lots of turkeys...

  • A - Thats a wolf

B - Im sure it was looking at the turkey decoy and not the actual hunter as a person would probably spook it....

  • @Damico07 A: there is no reason to think that's a wolf. Coyotes do get quite a bit bigger than the 35 lb. critters in the SW and hybrids with wolves can and do happen. A well-fed, full-blood coyote can get over 60 lbs.

B: I'm not so sure that the hunter was sitting with the decoy in his lap or that the coyote would be gazing into the camera lens if he were after the decoy.

  • @GriffGruff78 a coyotes muzzle is thin and short and a wolfs muzzle is a little wider and long...thats fact but calling it a wolf is my opinion i think its a wolf....as far as the decoy goes he was zoomed in the whole time....i only say its probably a decoy because ive seen a yote attack a hen decoy less than 13 yards away from me....

  • That was a wolf, and wolves attack people

  • thts a lil wolf

  • Not a coyote, thats a juvenile wolf.

  • lmao at all of the youtube animal experts!

  • should have smoked it!

  • This coyote was NOT trying to hunt this asshole! He was just curious as to WHAT this person was doing in his territory! (All dressed up in fatigues, trying to blend in w/the trees!) Coyotes do NOT attack grown men! He was just trying to see What this person was doing and at one point walked away but "goofy hunter boy" was messing w/him and he came back! He was just trying to scare him and Kudos for the Coyote!!!! This asshole was in HIS land!

  • @pattypat50 RETARD

  • @pattypat50 The coyote WAS trying to hunt this guy. There is no reason that a coyote would not assume that a prostrate human alone in the woods could be an easy meal. The hunter showed great restraint not killing the coyote and the only reason the coyote stopped was fear of injury at the last minute. Nature is mean and without honor, it isn't a big, harmonious utopia out there.

  • @pattypat50 The only thing that would have been better would have been to pepper-spray the coyote. He wouldn't forget the lesson that humans = ouch.

  • @pattypat50 Conduct a google search for Taylor Mitchell and Candace Berner.

  • For the people saying it was too brave to be a coyote, coyotes are the ones that are not so afraid of people, who have adapted to even living in the suburbs with people. Wolves are very shy and you would be very hard pressed to see them approaching a person at all. Even the researches who follow wolves with tracking devices barely ever get a chance to see them cause they are very shy.

  • Coyotes have become the nuisance because people hunted off wolves from most of their natural range. Wolves were why coyotes hadn't spread from the southwestern US. With no wolves around, coyotes spread across more so its our own doing why they are such a nuisance in many places. If we kept the wolves instead, the wolves would stay away from human habitation as they are honestly the much shyer animal.

  • @tigress666 There is a big misconception that wolves and other predators naturally shy from humans. That isn't accurate. "Shyness" is learned over generations from the killing pressure that humans have applied to North American predators. Once that stops, the predators become bold. Coyotes and wolves have both been responsible for a number of deaths in the last decade and a lot of dogs die at their hands. It isn't that they don't see humans as potential food; they've learned to be wary.

  • Respond to this video... Oh, and that did look pretty big for a coyote (as well as furrier). on the other hand when it turned its head it had a narrower muzzle more like a coyote. But I'm not really an expert to be able to say. It did look kinda wolfish to me from the front (but from the side face view it did look like a coyote).

  • Did you see that Coyote skid and show his "Oh Shit" face?!?!

  • @jeezyjaygee wolves are more timid then coyotes if you knew what you were saying.

  • @mrbratsch looks like half n half if that's possible. So I've heard it is.

  • looks like the new subspeices !

  • @Pocketpets13 aaww it's cute and that was a close one lol

  • why was your gun laying on the ground??

  • pause at 0:38 SO CUTE!!!! But yet, so deadly...

  • I hate the psycho-killer cocked-head stare walk!! Creeps me out! 0:14

  • also...how many of you have acually seen a coyote up close....i have had the very same thing happen to me as this guy...a coyote when stalking something has its ears pointed strait forward...and yes the coat is very thick for a coyote and that could be because the guy is turkey hunting...most likely in the spring judging by the green leaves and bushes so it wouldnt be long after winter when a coyote does have a thicker coat
