  • The video is on my channel right now if you wanna see what I'm talking about.

  • @TheDSparky

I use a software called magix video to convert the MTS files into the h.264 videos.

I never used the JVC software. I recommend trying that too. There is also a software from Pinnacle that can do that. If you have a lot of money Adobe Premiere also works.

  • Hello Stresssor,

I'm trying to upload my own video demo of this camera in HD (1920x1080) It comes in crystal clear when I play it on the "Everio Browser" (Came with the camera) But when I try to upload it to Youtube, it comes out all blurry and doesn't even give me the option to change the resolution on the video.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers and Thank You,

    -Sparky :-)

  • well, you gotta admit, it's a budget camera and it's on a motorcycle, so it's gonna be shaky. 5*

  • hey mate did you ever fix the problems?? im facing similar problems... everything seems blurry when i record!! i want to get rid of this.. also i can notice a lot of noise in my picture...

you can see my a vid i have recorded here:

    /watch?v=1tbVnqgCh_o

you can see the quality.. is it able to become more crisper if i play with the settings?

  • @sainter7

Yes i actually fixed it. I got rid of the mount with the so-called Vibrationabsorbtion and bought one without it. The result is actually better. You can see that in my other Video.

  • hey dude... get into using a contor hd or a pov.. i use them on drag cars! i tried many cameras and i always use to get the same problem as you.

    cheers

    jr

  • Hmm it looks to me as if the mount is not very good.

Have a look at this video

    watch?v=I4HyOlaQBPg

You will have to add the youtube web address to the front of the link.

But the guy who is riding the R6 in that video is using the JVC Everio GZ-MS120 standard definition camera and there is no movement at all.

Don't know what mount he is using though. But I think that is whats causing your shaking problems. I have never liked those ball mounts as they are not stable IMO.

  • @CybaGirl

The other movie is better, perhaps because the camera is under the dome.

  • I think the mount isn´t the problem...its the rolling shutter/jellyfish effect because of the CMOS sensor. Look at /watch?v=UEaDrS-yzIE

  • YES it seems you are right especially after watching that video. Anyway I am glad I ended up buying a camcorder with a CCD sensor.

  • Man I would be scared to death If I rode with my camera like that. :D

  • Amazing video!

Sorry I accidentally pressed 4 star instead of 5 star :(. I will change that the next chance I get. I just got mine today and I love it. Only problem is that the software makes the quality so bad :\
