  • hey it's been recently discovered that t-rex's bite force was more than twice as powerful as previously estimated, same goes for its weight now the t-rex weight is set at 9 tons

  • @vikutaa I've read that as well that T-Rex's short but muscular arms were designed to grapple at its prey before delivering that fatal bite.

Because T-Rex has such muscular arms that can lift 500 lbs in each arm, its range of motion is terrible, which made scientists wonder why it had such a limited range of motion. Then, they found a lot of muscle tendons attaching to the arm bones, which indicates its arms are stronger than previously thought.

  • (Cont) And giga was slower. Trex could bite straight THROUGH flesh and into the bone. If you ask me, thats a much worse bite. Plus, They did not have a bacterial bite like a Komodo, they relied on bite force with their bite. Giga depended on biting and kicking its prey till it started to fall. That is one method, but only works on slower prey. Trex was much faster. It would be very hard for Giga to win against the most efficient killing machine.

  • @animaljp3: You have it all wrong. Giga's arms were not used for grasping, they were just as usless as Rex's. And they both had serrated teeth. Yet Trex's jaws had BONE-CRUSHING teeth. Giga's were used to slash through skin and cut into flesh. They would not be anything like a lion. They would try to ware down large prey till they brought them to their knees. That would not happen with a predator.

  • @warrorking4ever: got it from studying dinosaurs for 8 years :P

  • I think the T-Rex would win, Giga's size advantage is too minor to give it a real edge, and T-Rex had better weapons, a bigger brain, and was more powerful, so I think the win still goes to the Tyrant Lizard King.

  • TREX will win, it will easily reach a neck giga

  • @Yurasaurus so can gig

  • t rex would win even in documentaries t rex won cause of his smartness his strenght but giga is a strong competitor and you never know maybe even a raptor would kill a t rex by penetrating the claw into the t rexs neck you never know

  • 15 metres*

  • The T.rex wins certainly have teeth that can crush bones ... a bite of 18tons ... and besides, the saliva of a Komodo Dragon ....

  • @paulo157758 so does gig, both had serrations

  • @animaljp3 Actually, its on how the serrations are made. I'm not so sure if T-Rex had saliva like Komodo's even though its a theory for now, but the serrations on T-Rex's teeth are what give it off. I understand Giga has serrations too, but its the design of the serrations that make a difference. But I am curious to find Komodo's teeth becuz I would like to look at them myself and compare the serrations to T-Rex's serrations and maybe Giga's. This theory is not set in stone.

  • @MrTobyCure t rex has square serrations and gigs are much more narrow to get meat better. either serration can get meat stuck, but gig is better shape, komodos use posion, but lions have killed people through infection from rotting meat in teeth.

  • @animaljp3 You're going to have to give me some documentation and sources about a lion killing people through infection. I can see it happening, I just want to make sure. Lol.

I'm not sure if both ever had a bite like Komodo Dragon, I mean, honestly. There is a discussion between that Komodo Dragons have a venom gland on their lower jaw, but that may be old news. I'm still not sure. :\

  • @MrTobyCure I think i read that in Maneaters by Alex MacCormick

  • @animaljp3 Ah. Okay then. I was just curious since it sounded strange. I will definitely look into it then.

  • Well, the Giga is less than the T.rex ....

Many people think Giga has "15m." but it is not true ....

THE LARGEST FOSSIL IS ONLY 13m ....

"Sue" (the T.rex) is not the greatest, but "Celeste" of 14,1-16.8 m. ..

The T.rex wins 18tons has the bite of binocular vision ... .. but ... muscles and is a carnivore (large) but smart with the intelligence of a dog now ....

    I'm from Brazil-Rio de Janeiro.

  • @Tonenciuc:But Amphicoelias fragillimus is even larger.Amphicoelias is the biggest.

Now to the video, the description is very inaccurate.Giga is actually the same height as Tyrannosaurus and even though Giga's arms were longer they were not designed for grasping.Tyrannosaurus had a bite force of 7000-8000 lbs. While Giga had around 3000lbs.Tyranno would win for sure.I could list more reasons but I don't have the time.

  • @hamilton302 Awesome! Where'd you find that data? I had heard T-Rex had the strongest bite of any meat eating dino, and that Giga wasn't THAT much bigger, so T-Rex basically still had the edge.

  • @hamilton302 they were made for grasping.very strong, just like t rex. but head /head battle, they would not be used.. only in prey running away, grab with mouth, put in claws, aim for vunerable spot.

  • The Giganotosaurus used to live and hunt in groups (because they hunted the argentinosaurus , largest dino in the world officially comprobed) if a T rex encounters a Giga, he would call his companions and have a t rex meal :)

    pictures at 0:57 and 1:09

  • @Lemard77 Bruhathkayosaurus is larger

  • @Lemard77 yeah but how about one on one what would your opinion be mine is that as of other dino tv shows says giga may be bigger but t rex has the intelligence and strenght to kill the giga

  • @Lemard77 alberto and tarbo have been found in packs, maybe t rex.

  • @animaljp3 Do you mean Daspletosaurus? The only one found in packs was Albertosaurus, no other Tyrannosaur has been found together in a group dying at the same time.

  • @MrTobyCure Tarbosaurs, watch Dino Gangs, or read about Phil currie

  • its a video about two dinosaurs and people are talking about religion

    1. watch the vid n comment on who would win in a fight and 2. dont matter what religion u are YOUR GODS STILL AN ASSHOLE

  • @doncolto its not all about strength, you need brains don't you? so there was a good chance that t rex would win, your right

  • hmm, t-rex honestly i think brains would really help, grasping prey really good, very strong teeth

perfect! really they would have killed each other

  • To be honest I think Giganotosaurus would of been a challenge for T rex.

    I'm 50/50 on this one.

  • Saw Theme? :D

    T-Rex Rules!!!

  • t-rex because of its strong jaws and strength

  • t-rex would win because it is stronger faster smarter had teeth as big as daggers tough skin it had the strongest bite force of any animal at 3000 pounds and had bacteria in its mouth like komodo dragons and is the king of the dinosaurs. t-rex is just freaken better

  • T-rex of course, and Christian ppl, stop posting ur stupid commentz about ur Christ and Bible dis is about a death match between 2 dinosaurs, not ur religiouis place... :P

  • Gigantosaurus because they were in packs so the have a huge advantage but 1 on 1 Tyrannosaurus would be the winner easily.

  • @darkbowserxx Actually, there are no fossil records of finding multiple skeletons of Giga to point out it was even a pack hunter. As well, its brain was 30% smaller than T-Rex's, which brainpower is needed to be an intelligent predator to work in unison. This is just a confrontation between 1 on 1 if I'm correct.

  • @MrTobyCure Well i do know T-rex wins 1 on 1 100%

  • trex giganto may be taller but trex was way more fucking awesome then stupid giganto plus he has small teeth compared to banana sized teeth!

  • Comment removed

  • @mitzieroo no tyrannosaurus was faster because it was lighter and tyrannosaurus rex has bite force strong enough to bite through steel and it was much smarter

  • t rex would win because he has 1 of the most powerful bite forces in the animal kindow. He is faster, smarter, and more advanced

  • t-rex would win because he has a bigger head, longer teeth, he weighs more, he was shorter though, but he had stronger jaws probably.

  • Gig went after baby sauropods which lack attack, defense, intellect, speed, etc(easy prey) with a very weak fragile skull unsuited for a fight which is why it's claimed that dinos like this just wounded prey then backed off until they were dead. Trex was proven to be 45ft in length so size isn't really an advantage for either. Gig's arms are bigger then trex but very small as well and aren't really suited for combat either. So with that said, trex was also stronger, smarter and built to fight.

  • In short, trex would have an undeniable 80% to 90% chance of winning.

Trex would have sight, smell and hearing far more tone in much more higher quality. It's brain was massive and was proven to also be more intelligent and strategic which no other large theropod was able to do or had. Trex was also proven to be 10tons making it heaver then the slightly larger gig even though we all knew it was also physically stronger from the start. There speed was both around 20mpr(about the same).

  • These comment are to relate to the description.

  • Nobody truly knows, not to mention the fact they're millions of years apart too. But I'll entertain the possibility, I'd favour Giganotosaurus.

  • @ACPerformances Give a perfect explanation why Giga would win and I can give you some info that is correct about Giga and T-Rex. :) I love dinos too much and love giving information about it.

  • The earth is 7 thousands years old and the only thing that could take a tree on would be a fffffffing massive alligator or a great white go to church be a Christian understand the bible and you will be saved pce out

  • @thepoposacomin no god doest exist! my evidence? Dinosaur bones they've been in stone for more then 7,000 years you know so look it up god isn't real! a human cant create the universe! the big bang did.

  • @Fishydog123 That was kind of stupid for you to say, bud. There is a lot about the bible that interprets things not just blankly and plainly. You have to look at it at a much deeper level than that. Other than that, everything you try to prove is just irrelevant and shows how your thinking skills are matched to that of a monkey. Lol.

  • @thepoposacomin hahahahaha stupid christian

  • @CHADE47lol

Why is christianity the most bullied religion? I see no other religion being ripped off except christianity. Give the christian a break. in fact good on you for posting your religious opinions on here. he has all the right to place his comment on here just as much as the people who believe that giganotosaurus or t rex would win!

  • @9000ALfilms 1. Christianity sucks

    2. Christianity is not the most bullied religion the most bullied religions are Judaism and Islam.

  • @CHADE47lol

okay, saying that christianity sucks is just being mean now.

  • @CHADE47lol Stop pointing fingers dude and saying crap at others. The funny thing is, all those three you just mentioned have something in common. They believe in the same God. But, they have very different views and ways. But I think in the Bible, Torah, and Qur'an have a phrase in each that "you will be prosecuted but your God shall prosecute the ones who prosecute you"

  • @MrTobyCure Yeah that's why they keep killing, rapping and insulting each other all the time.

  • @CHADE47lol Everyone kills, insults, and sometimes rape. It's not just those three religions. Please reconsider what you say.

  • If t rex gets a bite into giganotosaurus, giga would lose but giga went about in groups. So its tough but id say trex would win.

  • @Seencomment A moving sauropod does not move fast enough to do that. It may lose some teeth but not all. That is why teeth are easily replaced for dinos. As well, you can't obviously say that all the damage was done at the upper body. That is absurd. We do not have evidence for this due to the fact muscle, skin, and even fiber is gone and the only thing left is the bone. And just like you said, the teeth aren't strong enough to scratch or puncture bone.

  • @Seencomment Actually, there is no evidence either of it attacking the upperbody either. We don't even have bones that give evidence or muscle for that matter to show that Giga bit anywhere. You're just proposing your own theory, which no predator at the weight and size could jump, which is highly illogical.

  • Giganotosarus wins

  • neither animals could jump but because of the trex's superior intelligence, eyesight and heavily built bone crushing skull and jaws, i say rex wins.

  • @godzillaisnuclea123 i think that gigont to would have an x factor with wight and waight and power over rex at that even if rex is smart we it has small arms and in jurrassic park 3 i got kill by spino at that is a big fight changer wit his arms. winer giganto

  • @longjoshgolden You are so wrong on everything. T-Rex is smarter and arms aren't a big factor in fighting. As well, you putting JP3 as evidence just makes you an illproposed person who has no idea what they are talking about. Seriously, T-Rex is the most evolved predator on the planet. He has winning capabilities to defeat Spino n Giga.

  • @MrTobyCure T rex may be smarter but its brain wasn't smart enough to make any real difference. When it comes to hunting then it would but in a straight up brawl, it would just be instincts.

  • @HighlandChicken In that case, T-Rex would make the ultimate decision either way. One way or another, T-Rex was a much more highly evolved predator than Giga, which ultimately makes him more liable to winning the ultimate fight. Due to having a stronger bite force and carrying more muscle than Giga even though Giga weighs more. But if we could all go back in time to see it, it would be the most epic fight in the galaxy.

  • @HighlandChicken Actually, when it came to hunting for T-Rex, it had to strategize due to the fact it faced against tough prey like Triceratops and Torosaurus or Ankylosaurus. These three themselves alone were a huge challenge for T-Rex. Without the intelligence, it would've died out just when it came out. It had to develop a strategic brain to face its enemies. But none the less, it was only as smart as a house cat. The cerebrum which functions for strategizing and thinking was huge for T-Rex.

  • @MrTobyCure House cats are actually smarter than most people give them credit for, but anyway, surely giganotosaurus would of had to strategize to bring down argentinosaurus, which could be just as deadly, or allosaurus would of had to strategize to bring down sauropods or stegosaurus. Also, being more evolved doesn't mean that it,s more likely of winning, e.g. a brown bear is more evolved than a gorgonopsid, but the latter is more likely to win (depending on which species).

  • @HighlandChicken ctually, to play into roll, Giganotosaurus is not like Allosaurus. Giga didn't need to have a great brain to battle against sauropods. Again, I've already argued with others about this ordeal. For Giga, sauropods are just giant walking meat on legs. They are easily taken down by biting at the flanks and sides. It doesn't take much to kill a sauropod.

As well, T-Rex's bite force is just a huge factor in play. You can't just swipe that aside. T-Rex would ultimately win due to

  • @MrTobyCure : Of course Allosaurs and their descendants the Carchadontosaurs were desgin to cut out large chunks of meat from Sauropods and let blood loss kill the walking mountains of meat. Tyrannosaurs on the other hand due to that they often went against prey that were fast moving (hadrosaurs) or well armoured (ceratopsians and ankylosaurs), the Tyrannosaurs often try to end their fights as soon as possible and actually went for killing strikes. Each predator was well suited for their prey.

  • @RocketHarry865 I believe you're completely correct in your info. Giga would do good if he wasn't so large and maybe more speed than T-Rex, but so far, T-Rex has far more capabilities to end the fight in such a manner that the fight would end abruptly with T-Rex as the winner. But, Giga in my opinion has more chances of winning against T-Rex than any other predator as of today. I do love both dinos but T-Rex is just too powerful and has multiple features that Giga does not have.

  • @MrTobyCure

Haha, I find it funny that I litterally see your comments on everyone of these "T-rex vs." vids. But yeah I agree with you, Giga doesn't really have any real big advantages over T-rex, and it's frustrating to see that most of the people who said that Giga would win have no idea what they're talking about and know almost nothing about the physical anatomy of both these dinos.

  • @MrTobyCure

It's also frustrating to see that hardly anyone knows that T-rex had binocular vision, in which I think would make a pretty big impact in a fight. Imagine 2 boxers fighting each other; one of them has his eyes placed on the side and the other with his eyes placed forward like a regular person. It's pretty easy to say the one with his eyes placed forward would easily win due to the fact that he could attack with far better accuracy.

  • @windowsVD predators to face. Unless we see more land-based predators that may have more capabilities, then I do not see a point in trying to dethrone T-Rex by people using stupid and incorrect info that isn't worthy to be posted on youtube or anywhere. I would rather hear it from scientists than anyone else in my opinion. Lol.

That's just my perspective on things. I love dinos, but its just the wrong info that people put out that pisses me off really badly.

  • @MrTobyCure

Well that's the internet for ya! Filled mostly with dumb ignorant fanboys! Seriously I nearly facepalmed after reading these BS infos that were put out in these comments. I hate how most of the people who think that Giga would win all say something along the lines of this: "duuuhh, giga wuz bigga so it wuz obviuzly stronga! it had bigga head and jawz so it was smartar an haz moar powerful bite force!"

  • @windowsVD I know! Its so stupid on how ignorant people are that it makes me wanna yank all the hairs of my head! Some people are just too dumb to face the fact that T-Rex is just too strong for Giga to face against. There wasn't anyway it could put enough capabilities, mother nature didn't need much for Giga due to its prey being Sauropods who were just giant walking meat mountains. Sauropods only had size to their advantage. That just makes Giga's job easier to do which didn't need adaptations

  • @MrTobyCure

Yeah, it's annoying how people assume Giga was stronger because it hunted some of the largest land animals of all time. There's this new show called planet dinosaur made by BBC where they explain that an dino of the same family named Mapusaurus(very similiar to Giga in terms of design) would simply grab on to Argentinosaurs and slice a big chunk of flesh(same bladed tooth design as Giga) and ran fed on that chunk of meat without actually killing the Argentinosaurus.

  • @MrTobyCure

Though later it is said that the Argentinosaurs may have eventually died from blood loss and infection.

  • @windowsVD Exactly. Giga's teeth were meat slicing, indicating with the bite force and vulnerability to have a weak structure, that they did not face the sauropods head on. They would intend to take their time and wait for the perfect moment and take a huge bite out of their prey, stand back and see if it effected their prey and if they would die by blood loss and infection like you had said before.

Its said that Giga's top speed was slower than T-Rex, which is understandable in my opinion.

  • @MrTobyCure

Now I know that wasn't the most appropriate or accurate comparison but I think you got my point. :)

  • @windowsVD Haha! Yeah. I do know what you mean, friend. That was a good comparison. I used it before, but it was over a guy with both eyes and the other had a shiner and couldn't see through his other eye.

I tend and try my best to give others the knowledge about all dinosaurs. I will try to tell others what is true and what isn't true. Sometimes they frustrate me with their stupidity, which can get the best of me, but who doesn't push your buttons, right? Lol.

T-Rex is just too much for other

  • @HighlandChicken Giga was about the same height as T-Rex too. So don't say Giga was taller than T-Rex. There is a show about this and the argument has already been settled with by scientists. I've given my evidence so just bear with it. I will give you the link to the video as well just to show you who will win.

  • @MrTobyCure um, i didn't mention the height, or the size, i only commented about the brain.

  • @HighlandChicken immense strength (more muscle mass than Giga even though Giga is slightly heavier), keen senses, great binocular vision (first dino n the last to ever have binocular vision), and powerful bite force. T-Rex ultimately wins the day. Giga can't compete against a predator like T-Rex. T-Rex is just too powerful to handle.

As well, Giga's bite force is much weaker and its size is about the same as T-Rex's due to the fact its only one foot longer (complete skeleton of Giga) than Sue.

  • @MrTobyCure Also you haven't actually answered my question, you started talking about sizes and bite forces. I think you have replied to the wrong person.

  • @HighlandChicken This discussion is over dude. I've already proved that T-Rex is far superior by intelligence and strength. Speed is about the same for the both of them too. Size is the same as well. Weight is different but not enough to make a huge factor in a fight. Then what was the question that you asked then?

  • @longjoshgolden that was so sutpid for you to even speculate and use JP3 as a source of evidence. You're dumb. As well, arms aren't needed for T-Rex due to its powerful bite force he had. He didn't need them when all he needed was a strong bite and shatter bones. Its obvious that Giga had to use arms AND teeth to win. This itself made it hard for Giga to win. All T-Rex needs is a good bite anywhere on the body and Giga is gonna die by bleeding to death or bones being shattered into vital organs.

  • @Seencomment Its still impossible for Giga to even leap on its prey. This does not put any evidence or proof that it could do this. Thus is why 50% of body mass would be placed on the legs it had to do so. Giga was tall, it didn't need to leap on its prey. It's prey wasn't over 200 ft tall. If it was, then that's when it would have to leap. Giga's jaws needed to only rip onto the belly, side, or thighs. It would be game over for the Sauropod after that.

  • i cant stand listning to this music

    its great!

  • do you know this music is from twilight or did you customise it ?

  • it is so awsome i would probly say giganotosaurus because its absolutly huge

  • @Seencomment Incorrect. Due to the immense size Giga carried, it is impossible for it to jump on any dinosaur due to its weight. It would need more than 50% of muscle mass in its legs to do so, which is highly impossible cuz a dino carrying more than 50% of its body mass placed in its legs is highly unlikely.

  • t rex wins hands down one bite with the massive jaw and game over

  • dude, tyrannosaurus was TALLER not shorter (height)

  • Ithink giga would win because it is stronger, bigger, heavier, more agile and way taller. But rex was smarter, had better vision, more robust teeth and slightly more powerful bite. Its a tough battle though

  • @redcarnotaurus Tyrannosaurus: more advanced, has depth perception, has a MUCH stronger bite, bigger brain, faster, and bulkier, it had longer legs than Giganotosaurus, and while Giganotosaurus was longer, T-Rex was taller . Giganotosaurus: Longer.

  • @RedRex300 No. giga was way taller, since it had to hunt sauropods. It was faster because the muscles in its legs were better. It wasn`t as bulky, but it was heavier, 9 tons. T.rex had more advanced senses, a stronger teeth and bite, was smarter too. Tigers are less bulky than lions but still win. Look I`m trying to be fair, but If your going to go around telling me what to think then please stop replying to giga fans and spino.

  • @redcarnotaurus look it up, tyrannosaurus was talelr, ang giga hunted young sauropods ot adult 1s in PACKS. The muscles in its legs weren't better, and there is proof tyrannosaurus was faster, in fact theres a documentary stating facts of each and in the end they say Tyrannosaurus would DESTROY Giaganotosaurus

  • @RedRex300 Don`t say `look it up` because I have looked it up countless times. Giga did hunt adult sauropods sometimes. Giga 7 meters high, t.rex 6 meters high. T.rex did n`t need to be high and if it was too high, it would have more distance to go to strike. And then it would go rare because it would n`t hunt as well as other tyrannosaurs. Also if your talking about beyond t.rex, then they don`t say anything like that. They say basically the best killer. I`ve had enough so goodbye.

  • @redcarnotaurus Noone asked you to stay, and youre obviosly lying, i JUST looked at like 9 websites, all saying tyrannosaurus was taller

  • @RedRex300 Look, go screw yourself. I`m not lying. your just protecting your little gay rex. Your lying about nine websites. otherwise its by dumb fucks like you. You brought this on yourself you insufferable asshole. I posted my opinion and your bitch ass commented trying to correct me. we are likely never to create one, SO WE`LL NEVER KNOW. now piss off. mostly everyone with a dinosaur, colour and number in their name is a bitchy troll like yourself

  • Comment removed

  • @redcarnotaurus From there, Giga was home free at tearing the sauropods apart. T-Rex had definite issues that had to be solved by evolution, fighting against well-armored prey like Trike and Anky weren't as easy prey as Giga had. T-Rex had a much more complex brain used to analyze and strategize its moves. Giga didn't need this. T-Rex's evolution was short lived. It only had 2 million years of living before the meteorite struck Earth and wiped out 75% of all species on Earth.

  • @MrTobyCure yes, T.rex is a better killer because it had a better evolution due to its later arrival. But Giga`s prey is not easy. These animals had thick skin, though not armor at all, massive strength, and weapons of their own. A hunt would last 3 hours taking down an amphicoelias. Anyway, I respect your opinion, T.rex was a better hunter, but I still Giga could win a fight. Thanks for putting a mature reply. I get pissed of sometimes so yeah. and yes, T.rex`s prey was harder though

  • @redcarnotaurus I disagree with your opinion about Giga winning a fight with T-Rex. If T-Rex has all these features that show it was an apex predator that made all of its prey crumble, then it could certainly defeat a Giga. But it is your respectable opinion my friend. Scientists though believe T-Rex would win in a fight against Giga. I hate to say this, but this discussion between these two predators have already been dealt n argued with. Sadly, Giga would not stand a chance against T-Rex.

  • @redcarnotaurus Would you like the link for the show? Its quite interesting to see. But Giga is a pretty cool dino due to his massive head. I know he was a good predator, but T-Rex was far superior and could pulverize an amphicoelias by just biting onto the legs and crushing the bone. I respect your opinion too though. Please do not get this information wrong that I don't.

  • @redcarnotaurus troll? your the one cursing at me, i was just correcting youre WRONG statement, and my name is a nickname at school, RedRex, i added the 300, y redrex? idk but its badass, and im not protecting a "gay rex" im saying tyrannosaurus had longer legs and was taller, youre the 1 who thinks giganotosaurus would actually win.

  • @RedRex300 Thats my opinion. because I curse does not mean I`m a troll. Putting mean, or rude comments on a video or to someone else is for NO reason (sort of like you did). But I started of normal ad you started trying to correct me. That is not a fact, because we don`t know, since we do not know how big the two got. I`ve seen some of your comments, and from what I`ve seen, you are against all no rex fans. What do you have against giga? And your trying to correct all my knowledge with 1

  • @RedRex300 comment. You don`t even know me (and to be fair, I don`t konw you either), you just waltz onto the screen and correct all my knowledge! You could of put a similar comment mrTobycure`s, and I would n`t of got pissed off. Is it against the law for a kid to get angry when a guy starts saying I`m lying about something I`ve researched for six years? Plus I retaaliated in the same way as you put. But to be honest, I did respond wrong and should of gone more depth on the situation.

  • @RedRex300 also, I don`t mind what you think. Good for you to like rex.But take it easier if someone thinks stuff about a different dinosaur.

  • @redcarnotaurus i study many dinosaurs my friend, i was just letting you kno, u dont have 2 belive me.

  • @redcarnotaurus Although its bite force was pretty good, its teeth n skull were not designed 2 take tremendous stress like T-Rex. T-Rex's bite force was 2x that of an alligator n 5x stronger than a lion's bite. T-Rex had 2 compensate with a strong biteforce 2 puncture armored prey like Triceratops n Ankylosaurus.

When it comes to intelligence, T-Rex wins this cuz its brain is larger than Giga's. Giga didn't need 2 be smart like T-Rex. All Giga had to do was stay away from the tail n front legs.

  • @redcarnotaurus When you say Giga is stronger, you really have 2 look at the musculature of both predators. Giga did have well-developed muscles, but T-Rex was a hypercarnivore on steroids. T-Rex had 2 be stronger cuz of its prey being ceratopsians like Triceratops n Ankylosaurs. These two prey items themselves were very tough cases 2 win and fight.

T-Rex had to have a better musculature.

Giga didn't need 2 be as strong as T-Rex cuz it hunted in more likely as a pack.

  • I think T-Rex would win its just better :D

  • I think without a doubt, T-Rex would win his brain is more advanced, his teeth are like cerated bananas and are desinged to crush bone and even has cerations on the side to hold rotting meat, so if it bit you and you didnt die your wound could get infected easily, and in the end T-Rex had more muscle and would be too much for Giganotosaurus, but Giganotosaurus is still a bad dude I wouldnt want to be chased by either of them.

  • no you idiot giganotosaurus is bigger and would crush a t-rex

  • @MrTobyCure as far as your third post you got me, but I.still think.giga would win, its just my opinion but as far as trex being a scavenger neay all the big predators were scavengers and scavenged more then like most there meals but you got me I didnt think bout the how binocular vision affects predator

  • @barcode0954 Yeah, we all have opinions and its fine. But yeah, I mean when two guys get into a fight, with one having both eyes and the other getting a shiner, more than likely the one guy with the shiner will lose the fight due to the fact he cannot perceive the distance of his enemy he is trying to fight against. But using intimidation as defense is the most potent way to scare off predators too. I mean, heck! Look at the sauropods, they lasted longer than most other dino families!

  • @barcode0954 But using intimidation as defense is the most potent way to scare off predators too. I mean, heck! Look at the sauropods, they lasted longer than most other dino families! I do believe Giga does have a strong reputation though as a great fighter, none the less, it would be a fierce competitor. T-Rex is known for propaganda, but that doesn't mean much to me. I could care less if everyone hated T-Rex or loved him. T-Rex is my fav but Giga is on my top 5 though. :) I love both of them

  • 2.) Prey: Giganotosauus was very tough to hunt a sauropod like Argentinosaurus, but giga had to be in a pack of 3 to possibly 5 in order to ake one of these guys down. T-rex on the other hand had to hunt ankylosaurus and tricerotops, the most heavily armored herbivores on the planet, and he hunted and killed these guys for breakfast, of course it never was easy. But since these 2 awesome predators didnt live in the same time period we'll never know for sure

  • @ChAtTiMeFilms most armored dinosaur =euoplocepholus

  • t-rex would win no question, 2 reasons

1.) Weapons: Gigonotosaurus was just an average member of the allosaurid family, so he would have claws and seraded teeth. However t-rex had large bone crushing teeth meant for both cutting and crushing prey, added with a bite force of over 5 tonns, not to mention it had toxic bacteria in his mouth similar to the komodo dragon.

  • Giganotosaurus may have hunted in packs and that would mean they could win, but in a one-on-one battle with Tyrannosaurus who is smarter and has a more powerful bite i would say the tyrannosaurus would probably win

  • t-rex FTW..!!! :D

  • King Kong Will Kick Their Asses.

  • T-rex will win!! :D

  • i would say that t-rex will win it cause g-rex might be large but t-rex have a brain and it will cut that giant g-rex's head!!

  • @ryan333ful g-carolinii not g-rex

  • T REX IS THE KING

  • trex is more massiv than giga and more bite power trex teeth are 2 cruch bones and gigas are 2 slys flesh giga is a bit bigger than and has more agility

  • @barcode0954 Giganotosaurus taking down a sub adult Argentinosaurus is really not that impressive, being a sauropod Argentinosaurus has a very weak spot, it's neck. Where as Tyrannosaurus is fighting one on one with beasts like Triceratops a dinosaur with a very effective defence, the only defence of Argentinosaurus is it's sheer size. Also Tyrannosaurus had a much more muscular build where as Giga on the other hand had a more slender build therefore T rex is is likely to be stronger then Giga.

  • @xixXJoshXxix Exactly. This barcode0954 is a Troll. He tries to make it sound like he knows what he's talkin about when he doesn't and now he's the spam-man.

  • Trex is built for hunting and giganotosaurus is built for speed and agility

  • And you know all of this how? Everything you just stated is all an opinion, nothing more. Obviously you don't know when to quit cause you're the type who can't handle it when they're proved wrong. Oh and by the way, you need to work on your grammer. Good day

  • @Spud13ify It’s funny I’m the one that doesn’t know how to quit but you won’t even reply to my post! i have to come check to see if you reply smh. Opinions smh smh. only opinion in that post is 'giga would kill a rex'&'giga is more powerful'. Other then that the rest aren’t opinions. ive notice when I’m winning a argument or proving people wrong they decide to turn into grammar Nazi’s .Look dude I been taking A.P classes all school year were proper grammar is a requirement, I’m on summer break..

  • @barcode0954 Predictable, so very predictable. I don't debate with people who speak gibberish. My work here is done.

  • @Spud13ify dont comment back to this please, because the post you replied to has correct grammer with a few exceptions of some words not being cap. , i made sure of it, ;) STFU. you only started acting like a grammer because you have nothing to counter or say , you lost and your using the grammer crap to find your way out SMH! you mad bro? :p

  • Your saurapod angle means that Giga was more of a pack hunter yes? Meaning it didn't face the 1 on1 encounters as much as a Rex did yes? You're admitting it as much since obviously it can't take down an argentinasaurus on it's own. Give it up dude, you're not proving anything and most people, including scientists agree that a T-Rex was the king of all theropods.

  • @Spud13ify a trex could never take down a large saupods either rexs, only advantage is it bite force. thats the only advantage it has on the other super predators, giga is faster, it ran about 30mph, giga is more powerful. its the a BIG ASS ALLO, a single giga would kill a rex, and the rex 1 on 1 encounters with armored and armed dinosaurs were often lost and t-rex were often injuried in battle and forced to retreat. also its meals were nearly all scavenged taken small dinos meals SMH

  • @barcode0954 scavengers do hunt and predators do scavenge and t-rex had a much stronger bite than giga and his body was more muscular and he had a more advanced brain than giga also giga's vision was not even half as good as rex's so t-rex kills giga end of story

  • @CHADE47lol oh ok..just curious how did you come up with the conclusion that rex was strong then giga if giga took out the by far larger prey? 1 giga could kill a sub adult argentinosaurus which far more stronger then any animal t-rex could kill. / i know rex hunted, but most of its meals werent killed by it, rex took other meals from other dinosaurus.????

  • @barcode0954 what dinosaurus? t-rex was the most dominant in the place and time he lived in and giga didn't kill a healthy argentinosaurus alone he hunted in packs and they only keep attacking and runing till the dinosaur dies

  • @CHADE47lol 'sub adult argentinosaurus' not a full grown one, you still never answered my question?

from raptors, any smaller tryansaur, or theropod.

  • @barcode0954 other small theropods*

  • @barcode0954 what question?

  • @barcode0954 Actually, Giga isn't that big compared to T-Rex as well. It was only a few feet longer and it could never reach the speeds of 30 mph. If it did, one wrong step and its dead meat. The most likely speed it would run would be 15mph. Both would have the same speed, but T-Rex doesn't scavenge all the time as you say it does. Its prey were hard to kill, so what makes you think smaller dinos have a better chance than T-Rex? Exactly, none. Secondly, T-Rex had a much more powerful brain.

  • @barcode0954 As well, how big the prey is does not mean much. Size is just a defense called "intimidation defense." Size does help, but it wouldn't be able to stomp on a Giga. Argentinosaurus was far too heavy to lift off its front feet and smash them down on the ground. As well, Giga had a very simple brain, all it had to do was get to the side of the sauropod and bite at its sides and flanks. It had no opposition against sauropods because they really couldn't fight back except using their tail

  • giga would win vs a t-rex, a t-rex never had any natural predators, it never had to really fight for its meal! its apex , most of its means were scavenged! giga took out the largest dinosaurs, it was a really beast, out of the top super predators rex was bult differently animals, giga could out manuever t-rex, giga was faster and stronger!

  • @barcode0954 First, any natural predators? What does that have to do with anything? Was there any other predator that would mess with a Giga? I don't think so. Second, a T-Rex had to share the world and to tangle with some of the most dangerous herbivores that ever existed. Triceratops, ankylosaurs, and hadrosaurs that were as big as a Rex. Third, yes a Giga was bigger and probably more powerful but faster?, no way. A T-Rex had true binochular vision, more powerful bite. This is a 50/50 fight.

  • @Spud13ify , and? giga took out the largest of aniamls, MUCH bigger then at triceratops or ankylosaurs! it took out huge saurapods! which also faugh back, so i think a giga would know how to handle a 40+ft rex since they prey on huge saurpods. that bite force is nasty on the rex, but the bbinochular vision doesnt mean much! this fight is more 75/25 not 50/50!

  • @barcode0954 What you said about being 75/25 is complete bull dude. As well, Giga wasn't that bigger than T-Rex actually, it was only a few feet longer than the Tyrant Lizard. Binocular means alot when it comes to a fight, it means you can see what's infront of your nose n helps you perceive the depth and the distance between you n your target. Giga would have to tilt his head to see his target.

  • @j8hockey Wrong it is suggested that Tyrannosaurus was probably the smartest out of all the large therapods.

  • giga by veryveryveryveryveryveryveryvery far
