Xmod arent as good as the Mini-Z , i got both (about 5Xmods and 1mini-z) and my fully moded Xmods (genuine parts only) go as fast as the stock Mini-Z. ..

imo atomicmods com would be the best prices in the US for these guys. You'll need the AWD model and some drift tires and you can get right into drifting.

Try ebay for a used but probably modded one or just buy a readyset from your local hobby shop.

The AWD ones are called MA-01 so if u want to drift like these guys you better get the right one.

yes you can drift with a MR02, but it's much harder than drifting with AWD.

Mini-z are alot better than X-mods. X-mods turning suck while a stock mini-z can beat a x-mod with alot of upgrades by a mile!!!

Do XMODS use an electronic speed control like 1:10s for different velocity or is it just a constant speed forward? I'm doing 1:10 drift and would like to get an XMods-car since the sell it in nice boxes including rc-gear.

X-Mods are VERY customizable you can get different gear ratios and such new motors some go over 50 MPH after they have right gear!!

anyways yea they pretty mutch accelarate in 2 second to max speed of 11MPH if that help.
