Mr.Rohan don't make this mistake again..Naushad Ali, Shakeel Badayuni and Mohammd Rafi made Man tarpat hari darshan...Jagjit singh & Chitrasingh made sunte hai ke milyate hai har cheez dua se & Tareef us ghuda ke....Mohammad Rafi was discovered by Sham Sunder, Talat Mahmood discovered Suman Kalyanpur...So in india religion doesn't play any role in music matter. India is a great country...thank God that this is posible in this country...and....I'm a Muslim from abroad.
I love Mohd Rafi very much and i am a muslim, however i love Asha Bhosle as much as i loved Mohd Rafi. I also love a lot of Kishore Kumar songs and other singers as Udit N., S. Nigam, Alka, Lata etc but my favourites will always be Mohd Rafi and Asha Bhosle. Everyone has their choices so stop critisize. Thanks
A true artist is over and above religion. Let our religious bias should not spoil the taste of life. Rafi sahib was not only a great artist but a great human being as well. Any praise showered on Rafi sahib is not enough. He was a true Indian. Truly immortal, his voice is still entertaing us even after 30 years of his death. May the departed soul rest in peace.
very touching duet indeed!! can you upload the songs from the movie called chaahat.Staring jeetendra, mumtaz, mala sinha and bishwheet. It had some good songs by LP and anand bakshi team. Like RUBY O RUBY, MERE DIL KI SUNLE KAHANI and HAME TUMSE TUMHE HAMSE MOHABATT HO TO AISI HO. .. pls any one help to find me this songs?
nice song , no doubt Rafi is all time great but it hurts to see comments by all Muslim viewers where they always praise Rafi & ignore other singers . Lata , Asha , Mukesh are all greats , immortals but you will hardly see any appreciative comments by Muslims for them . Does it not show their bias , anti Hindu mentality ?, on the other hand you will see numerous praises for Rafi / Talat from Hindus ..
@ROHAN1053 you are absolutely right!!! it does not matter what religion, the work of artists such as Lata, Asha, Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore and such are gems to be cherished by all! Thank you to all artists that pour their heart, soul...there very essence to such beautiful songs!
@ROHAN1053 Not true at all. Muslims love Rafi, Lata, Talat, Mukesh, Geeta, Asha just as Hindus do. But on the other hand, neither Muslims or Hindus care much for your kind who try to create mischieve by bringing up the race / religion card.
@RealMusicKing Way to go sir. I really appreciate ur understanding of the opinions of the public. Yes I am born a muslim and am a die hard fan of the great Lata ji. Hindi songs would have been nullified without her. And I also do agree partly with Rohan1053's opinion. If it had not been for the Indians which include Hindus and Muslims alike, Rafi, Talat and the ruling Khan's of today would'nt have stood a chance in Bollywood. Love India and love Hindi music ever. Hind Desh ko salaam.
@RealMusicKing U R right, There are SOME BADS in Every religion.... So it the propaganda which highlights certain religion at certain point of time because of personal cheap advantages. Goods and Bads are every where, every religion, every country, every society. We should see the Positive things and be positive in our inner self :)
@RealMusicKing Exactly brother i agree with you. As i am too a muslim but still love to listen udit narayan, sonu nigam and various artist so it is completely wrong statement by Mr. Rohan1053. Mr. Rohan1053 grow up man......
Hi Rohan I agree with you, it is indeed very typical. It is possible they (fundis in crisis) are seeking for new identity..maybe they don't know where they belong..looking for someone with whom they can identify??? Not with Rafi I hope...because he is Bharatvasi
Lets be honest.....Rafi was/is Indian......muslims of India were Hindus.....
I love Rafi...love Mukesh....love Lata. ..Love Suman......love Shamsad Begum....their language is spoken in India... not Arabic in countries.
@paraboy007 Look at RSS, they are "Hindu's" not "Muslims" who not only people of other religions but also hate their own Hindu brothers and sister labeling them as "Shudras" or the "lowest caste". You and your friends go and "Unload" bodily waste on them and then discuss "Racism". And while you are at it , read Jaswant Singh's(who is a Hindu) latest book.
@ROHAN1053: Does tht make a diff even if they dun praise or appreciate hindu singers?.hindus or hindu singers doesnt need any muslim certificates.Kishore,Rafi & Mukesh.de r such a great singers and at the height they r tht nobody can ever think of replacing them even in a dream.just enjoy the music buddy .just hear the song like dil ki baatein dil hi jaane & bade bewafa hain yeh husn wale from the movie roop tera mastana n then decide whthr both song n singers deserve to b 9th out of 10?no way!
@ROHAN1053 . i dont see why do we have to bring religion ,race and colour into such a beautiful song. i have no clue what the hell the lyrics are, i dont speak hindi, not even indian. im a malaysian muslim and i grew up listening to these beautiful voice of rafi lata, asha, khisore and mukesh..it irked me everytime any discussion about music ends up like a crusade....wake up people.
