Nah kobe won't get a better standing ovation I mean jordan got a standing ovation in philly for his last game the only standing ovation kobe will get will be when it's last game at staples center
Man I wish I couple grown up watching him all we got now is lebron and kobe who think there gods gift to basketball jordan acted humble but also he kinda acted like he know he was the greatest player in history
The reason MJ was cheered and LBJ was booed was because MJ won 6 titles for Chicago and returned from retirement to play for them multiple times, LeBron did not win Cleveland anything and gave up on them just when they were on the verge of a championship.
amazing, incredible, waouhhhhhhhhhhh I miss you MJ23....when I look this video, I cry but of the happiness to have been lucky to admire the biggest player of everything time for all eternity...From France
It's a shame Brett Favre didn't get this sort of reaction when he returned to Green Bay. For all the things he has done for that organization it is very pathetic to see those fans that cheered him on for 17 great years turn on him. All he wanted to do was play the game he loved just like Michael Jordan did with the Wizards.
@brandonfins93 lol really i love tyreke evans but D-Rose, LeBron, Stephen Curry, Dwyane Wade and etc... these are probably the guys who jordan should pass the torch but i respect your opinion... tyreke evans is a beast
I'm a grown man in tears right now, unless you grew up watching him you have no clue what this man has done for basketball, you will never see a ovation like this for any player. No one has completely dominated basketball like he has. MJ is a household name around the world, families would sit around the tv, have dinner and watch this man play damn near every game.
@Beararms88 ain't it the truth. I've been watching him since I was 5. Still get tingly from watching this of all of his ovations, this one was the most meaningful... In many peoples' eyes including myself, MJ was and still is the Greatest, hands down, no one has idolized such an individual (outside of religion) more. I'm just lucky to have been able to grow up watching him. #23, Forever.

ya know,im 30 years old,but I get emotional because I grew up watching MJ.when you grow up and you look up to someone and then you finally grasp the fact that your witnessing the greatest basketball player of all time, its hard not to get emotional.a standing ovation like that is amazing to see as a fan!pro sports has lost its luster since players like him retired.
HAHA! funny thing is, in this game the crowd boo'ed bulls, instead of wiz and MJ.. haha.. it shows MJ's legacy will never be erased nor surpass by ANYONE.. because MJ is by FAR the greatest basketball player of all time..
For everyone who wants to compare Kobe and Leborn to MJ just remember, MJ was so good that he retired and then came back to win 3 more. The word 8 peat could very easily have been a part of the english vocabulary
i can't believe scrubs like brenden haywood and christian laetner were on the same team with michael. they don't even deserve to be in the same room as him. proof that the world is unfair. i hope there weren't any rookies on that wizards team
they should have played the bulls entrance music for michael... he made that song represent the bulls!!! Ya can see the emotion on his face when it starts playing at the end.. they should have brought out loungley, pippen, rodman and harper.. the greatest 5 ever to play fo an nba team!
wow, I've never seen a player get so much respect from a crowd like Jordan does. I see the video and I still can't believe it. He wasn't even playin for chicago lol he was playin for the opposing team! And he got a 3 minute standing ovation. Best basketball player alive, PERIOD!
"I might be lighting a match when Michael Jordan gets introduced." I believe he means "I will shit myself"............... "FROMM NORTH... CAROLINA!" (pause) *change pants* *finish video* *favorite*
Kobe is a great player. Lebron needs to be consistantly brilliant over a lot of seasons to be that as good as Kobe. Neither is as good as Jordan in his prime.
" There is Michael Jordan, and then there is the rest of us."
Michael Jordan is to b-ball what Wayne Gretzky is for hockey understand? This man is the best he deserved every second of that standing ovation he got. Every second.
most respected nba player in the world no matter on which court ,,,,go check lebron ,,,,when he came back cleveland what happened, probably if kobe transferred to another tean and come back to LA ,he still get the woow,,,
ALL YOU STUPID FUCKS NEED TO STOP HATING ON LEBRON!!! WE ALL KNOW JORDAN IS THE GREATEST EVER, NO ONE WILL EVER BE LIKE HIM, ITS REALLY UNFAIR TO DO THAT TO LEBRON ITS NOT LIKE HE EVER SAID HE WAS BETTER THAN JORDAN...ITS ALL THE MEDIA TRYING TO MAKE CONTROVERSY AND NEWS... JORDAN IS JORDAN AND LEBRON IS LEBRON , IF LEBRON WINS ABOUT 5 OR 6 RINGS LATER ON MAYBE WE CAN COMPARE AND CONTRAST BUT COME ON LEBRON IS AN AMAZING PLAYER, JUST CANT COMPARE TO JORDAN YET...
@marioandluigii22 Lebron chose to wear number 23 and chose to do the powder throwing routine. Then he realized he would never compare to MJ so he ran to a former champion D-Wade. Lebron is 0 for 2 in the NBA finals and Jordan is 6 for 6 with 6 MVPs, the key point being 6 finals MVPs because if all that matters was rings then Bill Russell would be the best ever. Lebron is a great athlete and the best player for 3 quarters. Sorry for him the game has 4 quarters
LOL, they actually start booing, when the chicago bulls get announced. That's how you MJ was the greatest to ever lace them up, noone even cares that he's not in a bulls uniform. I wish I could of saw him play just once.
@youngstunner27 Lucky duck, lol. He is the reason I love this sport as well, he was just a magical player when he stepped on that court. He made you feel like you could truly do anything, he made you feel like you could fly.
