  • Nah kobe won't get a better standing ovation I mean jordan got a standing ovation in philly for his last game the only standing ovation kobe will get will be when it's last game at staples center

  • I dont think anyone will ever get an ovation like that not even kobe

  • @MrDustyRayTensley15 he'll get a better one

  • Man I wish I couple grown up watching him all we got now is lebron and kobe who think there gods gift to basketball jordan acted humble but also he kinda acted like he know he was the greatest player in history

  • The reason MJ was cheered and LBJ was booed was because MJ won 6 titles for Chicago and returned from retirement to play for them multiple times, LeBron did not win Cleveland anything and gave up on them just when they were on the verge of a championship.

  • i still go at the beach wearing my Bulls- Jordan 23 jercey .......i bought it back in 90s :)

  • It's a shame Brett Favre didn't get this sort of reaction when he returned to Green Bay. For all the things he has done for that organization it is very pathetic to see those fans that cheered him on for 17 great years turn on him. All he wanted to do was play the game he loved just like Michael Jordan did with the Wizards.

  • @ExpertDude13 michael jordan didnt act like a self absorbed douche bag when he went to the wizards

  • 100 years from now, the only basketballer thatll be remembered is Jordan... PERIOD!

  • @porsch930 no need to chicago market acually had the money to buit a team around jordan

  • lebron hell no mother fuckers

  • i love mj the only shoe i were is his

  • can still play or he just too old

  • Lebron James should have gotten this treatment in Cleveland

  • @TheOuterSpaceAlien jordan did not fuck over the bulls. he retired after winning 6 championships.

  • had goosebumps when the announcer introduce MJ. No questions asked. Definitely you are the G.O.A.T

  • Michael jordan is gonna have to pass down the torch to Tyreke evans in a few years.

  • @brandonfins93 hahaha ok

  • @brandonfins93 lol thats a good 1... made my fuckin day...losers

  • @brandonfins93 lol really i love tyreke evans but D-Rose, LeBron, Stephen Curry, Dwyane Wade and etc... these are probably the guys who jordan should pass the torch but i respect your opinion... tyreke evans is a beast

  • Watch his last gave in Philly. We gave him a more special intro then the team that he helped put on the map...

  • I expect this when scalabrine plays his final game in Chicago.

  • @TheLaserBash im going to go out on a limb and say its probably going to be much bigger, i mean sure this guy is michael jordan but hes no scalabrine

  • 9:30 MJ's face, you can feel him re-living the good times

  • No matter what city, they cheered.

  • Who won this game?

  • THE GREATEST TO EVER PLAY THE GAME

  • aplause wasint long enough

  • I wonder what ovation Kobe or Lebron will get when it's all said and done

  • @nanakojomusic Kobe and Lebron will both get one but neither of them will do what MJ did

  • I'm a grown man in tears right now, unless you grew up watching him you have no clue what this man has done for basketball, you will never see a ovation like this for any player. No one has completely dominated basketball like he has. MJ is a household name around the world, families would sit around the tv, have dinner and watch this man play damn near every game.

  • @Beararms88 ain't it the truth. I've been watching him since I was 5. Still get tingly from watching this of all of his ovations, this one was the most meaningful... In many peoples' eyes including myself, MJ was and still is the Greatest, hands down, no one has idolized such an individual (outside of religion) more. I'm just lucky to have been able to grow up watching him. #23, Forever.

  • The best part is they booed when they turned out the lights!

  • Before MJ when i heard the word "Chicago" the 1st thing that came in mind was Al Capone.

  • 8:43 We love you too MJ! Thanks for the memories!

  • I cant wait for when this happens to Lebron for his final game in Cleveland...lol (ima a Heat fan)

  • MJ was not just the greatest player ever he also had a warmth and a personality. What a great man. Thanks MJ.

  • I don't know why i'm crying but all I can say is we as basketball fans watching MJ play was an honor truly the G.O.A.T. I miss MJ

  • @UsernameAgainInvalid well said

  • ya know,im 30 years old,but I get emotional because I grew up watching MJ.when you grow up and you look up to someone and then you finally grasp the fact that your witnessing the greatest basketball player of all time, its hard not to get emotional.a standing ovation like that is amazing to see as a fan!pro sports has lost its luster since players like him retired.

  • haha the crowd wanted to give Jordan another 30 minutes and booed as soon as the place went dark

  • Compare this to Lebron's reception from the Cleveland fans when he returned as a member of the Miami Heat.

  • @bkim7690 Though I see your point, Comparing Jordan and Lebron in any way, shape or form is simply an exercise in futility.

  • @bkim7690 Yeah, but he was basically forced out. It was Lebron's decision to leave.

  • @bkim7690 yup, everybody haate chriss! ououo.... i mean lebron

  • @bkim7690 well it was michael jordans last game they knew he was gonna retire and miss him so they cheered for him.

  • HAHA! funny thing is, in this game the crowd boo'ed bulls, instead of wiz and MJ.. haha.. it shows MJ's legacy will never be erased nor surpass by ANYONE.. because MJ is by FAR the greatest basketball player of all time..

  • For everyone who wants to compare Kobe and Leborn to MJ just remember, MJ was so good that he retired and then came back to win 3 more. The word 8 peat could very easily have been a part of the english vocabulary

  • I think that ovation would have never ended if he didn't get on the mic.

  • You know whats sad? The PA guy got fired by Jerry Krause (aka Crumbs) for introducing him like that.

  • i think they were booing the wizards not micheal

  • Were they booing @ 9:00 when the lights went off? lol

  • Ya know what.. That's pretty fuckin cool man.. I dont care what anyone says..

  • Comment removed

  • they should have played the bulls entrance music for michael... he made that song represent the bulls!!! Ya can see the emotion on his face when it starts playing at the end.. they should have brought out loungley, pippen, rodman and harper.. the greatest 5 ever to play fo an nba team!

  • I caught my self crying during this :')

  • wow, I've never seen a player get so much respect from a crowd like Jordan does. I see the video and I still can't believe it. He wasn't even playin for chicago lol he was playin for the opposing team! And he got a 3 minute standing ovation. Best basketball player alive, PERIOD!

  • Do not say baskettball, say Michael Jordan

  • michael won't cry during the ovation? fine I'll do it for him. T_T

  • 122-9 in the United Center...........any questions?

  • I don't praise men or women. Give that glory to God. Real talk my YouTube family.

  • @MegaNorthMemphis Michael Jordan>god

  • @leedaomillz Yes, because MJ actually exists.

  • 6:40...im here because of u, kid...

  • No other basketball legends like Michael Jordan

  • at 9:00 it must have felt weird for MJ hearing that song AFTER he was introduced

  • "I might be lighting a match when Michael Jordan gets introduced." I believe he means "I will shit myself"............... "FROMM NORTH... CAROLINA!" (pause) *change pants* *finish video* *favorite*

  • thats just amazing

  • Guys, lets be serious. Scal would pwn all of these guys

  • Kobe is a great player. Lebron needs to be consistantly brilliant over a lot of seasons to be that as good as Kobe. Neither is as good as Jordan in his prime.

  • Comment removed

  • @JackoxelMAtrixo007 Well kobe was a Jordan wannabe

  • I like lebron but no one is like jordan

  • That ovation never would've stopped if they didn't give Mike the mic. GOAT. 1 LUV.

  • As the marquee at the bottom flashes, I noticed that most of them became dallas mavs or were on the champ team this year

  • No ovation could be long enough to pay respect to what MJ did for the Bulls. G.O.A.T.

  • they love jordan so much that they start boo-ing their own teams introductions

  • Disgusting that the Bulls still used the same great intro when the glory days were long over...

  • Makes me sick watching the NBA on ABC or ESPN. NBA on NBC 4 life!!!

  • i remember this watching this game when i was 8 at the united center. i wish i was older back then so i could appreciate it so much more

  • micheal jordan always has that look on his face before a game ... that hes not ready to play..... hes ready to win

  • incroyable

  • Seriously STOP comparing lebron to jordan . He is not even close , Michael jordan , is a legend in basketball , and always will be

  • M.J. was a gentleman. In today's NBA every team look like the wu tang clan or what....

  • they booed at the bulls um shit?

  • who won the game?

  • i loved when Kevin Frazier worked on ESPN, i wish he would come back.

  • Only Kobe, Shaq and Nowitzki would deserve that sort of treatment after they retire in our era.

  • WHy dnt the NBA have promos like this anymore??

  • If they didn't give him the mic to say something the ovation would have gone on for even longer.

  • who can blame him for leaving chicago? nothing but sweet love for mj

  • Forever The MVP

    Forever The G.O.A.T.

Show some fucking respect comparing him to others

  • I was watching this video and at the end i realized that i was smiling :)

  • jordan ang idol ko habang buhat sa history ng NBA :D

  • That would be the response to his presence everywhere

  • This video shows that MJ is very special in Chinago, and also In NBA !!

I could see MJ on real time. It was fantastic. Thank You !!

  • most respected nba player in the world no matter on which court ,,,,go check lebron ,,,,when he came back cleveland what happened, probably if kobe transferred to another tean and come back to LA ,he still get the woow,,,

  • Man i got choked up watching this. Go Bulls

  • Grew up in Chicago. Definitely cried when I saw this

  • there wasnt a dry eye in the building

  • sooo lebron did travel ?? ok just had to clear that up lol

  • wow wizard's line up are almost from NORTH CAROLINA :)

  • ALL YOU STUPID FUCKS NEED TO STOP HATING ON LEBRON!!! WE ALL KNOW JORDAN IS THE GREATEST EVER, NO ONE WILL EVER BE LIKE HIM, ITS REALLY UNFAIR TO DO THAT TO LEBRON ITS NOT LIKE HE EVER SAID HE WAS BETTER THAN JORDAN...ITS ALL THE MEDIA TRYING TO MAKE CONTROVERSY AND NEWS... JORDAN IS JORDAN AND LEBRON IS LEBRON , IF LEBRON WINS ABOUT 5 OR 6 RINGS LATER ON MAYBE WE CAN COMPARE AND CONTRAST BUT COME ON LEBRON IS AN AMAZING PLAYER, JUST CANT COMPARE TO JORDAN YET...

  • @marioandluigii22 Lebron chose to wear number 23 and chose to do the powder throwing routine. Then he realized he would never compare to MJ so he ran to a former champion D-Wade. Lebron is 0 for 2 in the NBA finals and Jordan is 6 for 6 with 6 MVPs, the key point being 6 finals MVPs because if all that matters was rings then Bill Russell would be the best ever. Lebron is a great athlete and the best player for 3 quarters. Sorry for him the game has 4 quarters

  • Jaja they booed at the bulls startinga lineup???? r u kidding me? that's just MJ way. GOAT Period

  • He could have literally taken his pants off, squated down deep and shat on the court and they would have kept cheering. MJ love is strong.

  • 122-9 in the united center... HOLY SHIT

  • Well, THAT is EPIC!

  • LOL, they actually start booing, when the chicago bulls get announced. That's how you MJ was the greatest to ever lace them up, noone even cares that he's not in a bulls uniform. I wish I could of saw him play just once.

  • @BlaqueReign25 I was a kid when I had the chance to see his last 2 seasons and believe me those 2 seasons are the reason why I love this sport.

  • @youngstunner27 Lucky duck, lol. He is the reason I love this sport as well, he was just a magical player when he stepped on that court. He made you feel like you could truly do anything, he made you feel like you could fly.

  • @mrnotsoeasy and @hasu5

Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project

  • they should've let jordan bulls locker room that night

  • What's that song at 9:16 ???

  • @mrnotsoeasy

    Thats The Bulls Intro

  • yeah, watching it all over again, i thought yeah, it would never end!!

the 10 who dislikes this video? are just simply aliens!!hahaha, wait even aliens love mj in space jam!!hahaha

  • Jordan and Russel are teammates. Haha! Russel was on the other end of Michael's last shot as a Bull.

  • This is respect.

  • Jordan ..everybody loved him . Lebron onl heat fans love him same as kobe with lakers fans ;) this is why nobody will ever be Jordan.

  • @MrOvidiu1990 Denver and China love Kobe

  • I actually found myself applauding along with the crowd.

  • THIS GUY DESERVED IT!!

  • i woulda started crying

  • The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be...MJ

  • 10 assholes that believe lebron & kobe is better.......FUCK OUTTA HERE!!!!

  • only time i ever rooted against My Hometown Bulls and it was the last time i ever did. Too bad he didnt Retire in The Black and Red...and i believe everyone that night was a Wizard fan...

  • if someone keeps comparing lebron to jordan again.. imma cutt off lebron legs so he wont travel again.

  • @TonganPower hahhahahahahahahah

  • @TonganPower Compare rings, Nuff said. Same with kobe. Jotdan wins

  • This was a North Carolina starting lineup (almost entirely)

  • @gashyus lol ikr, even Laettner is from Duke, haha lol

  • Well deserved though

  • I thought It would never end

  • Why the fuck do people KEEP comparing Lebron to THE GREATEST PLAYER TO EVER TOUCH A BASKETBALL.

  • @JordansOnMyFeet831 WHY ARE THEY COMPARING JORDAN TO A CHOKER

FIRST JORDAN NEVER CHOKES AND LASTLY JORDAN WAS SO LOYAL THAN LEBRON

  • 2002/1/20?

  • you'll never see Cleveland show this much love to lebron.

  • Should have stayed retired in 1998 as a bull. With Jordan playing for the wizards is like Derek Jeter playing for the baltimore orioles. It just don't look right.

  • @KingThomas150 well.. i can't see anything negative in his wizards comeback. at least negative towards jordan's legacy as a basketball player. i mean he can do whatever the fuck he wants. and people will enjoy it. so why not? he gave us another 2 years of michael jordan, of nostalgia, of great memories, of the greatest player to ever play.. for me his second comeback was nothing more than a great way to say goodbye one more time. beautiful farewell. and he still schooled some of todays players:)

  • @Vitasphere I understand where you're coming from but remember his last season as a bull: he won all star mvp, regular season mvp, hit the game winning shot to win the championship and won the finals mvp. He decided to come back and that's his right and played amazingly in his late 30s. But still, ending it in 1998 after what he accomplished that season would have been a nice send off.

  • @KingThomas150 oh yeah, it was a fairytale ending. but for me, it doesn't get worse when I see Jordan in Wizards uniform. The fact that it's not a Bulls uniform kind of makes it different for me. He ended his Chicago career the way people dream of, and then tried to help another team to develop. He didn't comeback the second time to win, and everybody understood it. Anyway, I get you man, I just wanted to share my feelings. Peace.

  • @Vitasphere No problem.

  • Longest cheer I ever heard.

  • what happened when Lebron went back to Cleveland?

  • @fishtailwrinkle lol the opposite of what happened here

  • wow, i wish i could say i was in attendance at michaels last game.

  • @fishtailwrinkle compare how lebron left cleveland to jordan leaving chicago...oh ok

  • all he can say is THANK YOU with a teary eye with a smile.. :')

  • lebron or kobe has has 8 accounts:P

  • everybody with the lebron jokes, its not that funny anymore. There 2 diferent people dont compare you cant compare. Does lebron say he is mj? no so shut up its really anoying.

  • @ZEFxX Lebron does heavily imply hes jordan. He wore 23, He called himself King James,

  • dis video makes me cry,,I LOVE NBA

  • jordan will be back and play for cleveland and they will win the NBA Tittle. fist that lebron and miami

  • Blows my mind to see this...UNREAL! MJ BEST EVER!!!

  • did anybody notice how half of the starting line up came from north carlona

  • lol Michael was like:

Ohhh stop it all i did was win 6 championships with the Bulls

    LOVE HIM A TRUE LEGAND

  • all i wanted when i was younger was to see MJ play not on tv but in the arena.

  • This is why MJ will always be greater then LeBron James! You think LeBron will ever get this kind of love anywhere? Not likely.

  • @SG373

not mj is just beter player thats why and by the way mj is the greatest so we cant accept lebron to be beter lebron is lebron mj is mj mj is the goat lebron is a top 20 player of all time at age of 26 years old leave the lebron will not be beter kobe will not be beter stuuf no one will be beter

  • i like how when the bulls started to come out the crowd started booing them lol
