I personally would have like to see a ricky/ali final as it would have been more evenly matched and also there wasn't the guarantee that ricky would have definitely beaten ali. It would have come down to their dances unlike the actual final which we knew 'team cola' (rolls eyes) had in the bag before their first dance step. So boring...

Thought the final two couples deserved their places in the final although i liked Ali and Brian still.

My own opinion but i always found A+B's romance to be a bit fake and all for show. I know they're still a couple and i wish them the best, but i didn't feel this romance. Now i love a love story and believe me, i am soppy(!) but Matt and Flavia's love story made my heart melt the most.

Obv. A+B are majorly in love though and good for them i suppose. This is only my opinion!

Listen, It just shows that the people out there vote for not the best and most successful but the most... different? Rickey and Natalie should have won fair and square against Chris and Ola, the reason he won is that the public liked his "personality". Ali and Bryan stumbled and slipped but they could actually DANCE without making it look like they hated it, So thats just my opinion. Go ricky and natalie, 2nd place.

Hey I said other people thought that about Lisa & Rachel not me - I actually voted for both & wanted either to win - I hated Tom from Day1 - u r so right about him & his mush!!! I dunno what all the fuss has been about with Ricky - I think it is harder for the women to do well that is why I was behind Ali plus she was so sweet, modest & genuine not to mention that her & Bri were a hot couple (hope they stay together)!! I've got a funny feeling Chris will win - it is the same every year - the public vote for the personality not the best dancer. Look at last year - altho Lisa & Rachel were the best alot of people thought they were smug & boring thats why Tom won!! Alot of people feel Ricky is teachers pet & has been consistently overmarked (especially by Alesha who makes no secret of the fact she fancies him!!) & Natalie is a smug cow with her fake smile - that is why Cola will probably win!!

To be honest im not sure if ali could of coped with the final she look terrified in that first dance of the night, but to be honest you will never beat the travesity of tom chambers being crowned the champion last year when lisa and rachel both got top marks and he didnt so im not suprised ali went out as she was quite boring even though she was clearly the better dancer between her and chris.

This just goes to show the power of the public vote. Yes it is a dance competition, but not the World ballroom championships. Chris entertains the public, thats why they vote for him and he has improved as the series went on. Remember 2005, Colin Jackson and Zoe Ball were miles ahead of Darren Gough and Darren went on to win. No one was complaining then. I think they should have put them all through to the final.

I hope the bright spark that decided that there should be no dance off this year is satisfied - this whole series has been all about ratings and a big two fingers up to those of us who liked it as it was!! I voted for Ali from the beginning and it would have been great to see a final between the best two couples!! I (& probably many others) certainly won't be watching this farce again & when the ratings are crap next week maybe then the makers will realise that 'if it ain't broke don't fix it'!!

i don't see the stairs incident that craig mentioned but later in the AT Nat did step on Ricky's toe with is a fault which should be brought to attenton. What i don't agree with is Ricky's Waltz i think that was worthy of a 50 If Ali's American Smooth was worth a 50. I think it is this kind of thing that makes the British public not trust the Judges about not having favourites. It looked like favouritism to me unless someone can point out the fault in Ricky's waltz.
