  • ahhh knock knock knocking on heavens door how enlightening.

  • I don't know why, but he does make me think about John Frusciante? ;s

  • Why has Phil been timed - it was not the first time he was on drums!

  • Phil Collins you are the best Simple the best

  • Too sad that Phil Collins had to stop his career so early...

  • реально боб марлей

  • There is no comparison btw this version and Gnr's. They're a rock band so they gave it a rock sound.

  • sounds more like a Bob Marley version ;-)

  • Baaad suck

  • Eric Clapton sure can suck all that is great out of a great song. Great guitar player, though...

  • Why there's no more 'Phil Clapton' 's being born in the world ?

  • Almost overwhelming for many we all just wait! can we see; IT; I live every day in redemption but when? why the wait? when I peek; over the side will? IT pull me IN or or will IT push me OVER? IT'; hovers over moves around; front and back; I smiled and waved IT; slammed me to the ground; My soul smiles my gate is frozen; I lost my; ticket; The more steps I take away from the gate the harder IT pushes me; back; REDEMPTION IS? FINE-WAITING IS HE..! Rick

  • where can I find this entire concert? looks like an awesome show

  • Dunno why you ppl have to hate everyone who is doing something smilar or same like artist you like . They are all artist and they don't fight eachother and you are fucking cunts sitting in your chair and commenting people like Slash , Eric , Bob ... and you can only dream to do what they are doing

  • Bob Dylan's original still rocks

  • dude this song was made when his 4 year old kid fell out a window

  • @tron72mon You may be thinking of 'Tears in Heaven'. This song was written by Bob Dylan for the film 'Pat Garret and Billy the Kid' in the 70s (good western.) Eric's son Conor died in 1991 so this video predates it.

  • @tron72mon Nope this video may have been recorded then, but this song was written in 1973

tears in Heaven was written about that sad event. if you already knew that sorry for the correction. I would love to have this entire show. do you know what it was called or how to find it? Peace...

  • @tron72mon You're thinking of tears in heaven. Knocking on heaven's door is actually a Bob Dylan song. This is just a cover. An amazing one

  • music haters.....recover from your sadness...music can not get you down homes!!

  • GNR VERSION IS MUCH MORE POWERFULL .

  • @MrsAxelia powerful doesnt always mean putting more physical energy into your vocals and using more volts or watts or whatever out of your electrical guitar. there's something called emotion and spiritual which will always be more powerful then material objects and imo eric claptons versions will always be the best version. it just fits the lyrics way more and i feel alot more emotion.

  • @MrsAxelia with axl's cover it's KNOCK KNOCK KNOCKING ON HEAVENS DOOR!! *guitar riff and runs around on stage with shirt unbuttoned like hes on crack* sorry, just my opinion but eric claptons version will always be more powerful to me.

  • @MrsAxelia and spamming the same thing isnt gonna change anything. other people will always have different opinions then you. it doesnt make them right or wrong. thats the beauty of life.

  • i personally prefer the original bob dylan version

  • los dos mas grandes de la historia el resto son imitadores PHIL ES UN GENIO y ERIK otro idolo maestros

  • personally i like both clapton's vocals AND especially guitar more, but it all comes down to preference.

  • im not saying GNR was a bad band, they were good at putting on a show, and axl had a high vocal range, just its stupid and immature to coming onto a classic rock blues video and compare a remake to a classic hardrock band.

  • u dont get the same vibes from guns and roses as u do clapton.. i mean its dumb to compare. guns and roses are good at putting on an energetic show, they got the wardrobe, and it wasnt uncommon to see axl running around the stage like a crackhead. eric clapton is rock BLUES, he puts a lot of heart into his music and u can tell by basically every live recording of clapton that all the band members are having a great time.

  • That sucks ass

  • I love them both. This one's more relaxing, the GNR version is with Axls foice, that sais enough.

Love Slash 'n Clapton. Woah, that sounds nice: 'Slash n Clapton'

  • LOL I agree with you about "Slash N Clapton". Clapton's Vocals & Slash's Guitar would make an Awesome Rock Combo.

  • Clapton is God.

  • ...who's this BASS Man...??!!!....bad boy...!

  • nathan east!

  • ...Cheers "tanner.....", his act is TIGHT!

  • Nathan East i supposed

  • Maestro Clapton!

  • eric clapton guitar skills are way better than slash's, you cant even compar it, but i like more the version of guns n roses

  • only dylans version is way better

  • someone please upload i shot the sheriff rah 1990

  • it is music!!

  • Very enjoyable. Phil did this on his solo tour in 1994 which was even better.

  • I totally agree with you =)

    but Eric is great, too

  • Music is a matter of opinion. And in my opinion this is one of the better reggae versions.

  • Phil with just the HI-Hat NICE!

  • This version of the song is perfect.

I want it played at my funeral

  • Slash's solos aren't anything compared to Eric. And Axl sounds like a frog is being shoved down his throat whenever he sings.

  • hahahaha

  • Fuck yes, Clapton is miles ahead of Slash..

  • @mustangman442002 finally someone that 1. dosnt think that slash is holy and 2. and realises that rose sings like a cat being strangled to death

  • @mustangman442002 don't say that.axl and slash are legends,have some respect. GNR!

  • @mustangman442002 don't say that.axl and slash are legends,have some respect. GNR!

  • @mustangman442002 don't say that.axl and slash are legends,have some respect. GNR!

  • @mustangman442002

I agree, Axl does sound like a cat being strangled but i have to disagree with the Slash part.

  • @mustangman442002 never seen the word cock spelt f.r.o.g before. BUt I trust thats what you meant ??

  • @mustangman442002 thats because a frog is haha

  • i don't think so..

  • dont like reggae? that's your loss, I guess; some people dont like God either...

  • They are called free-thinkers. You should try it sometime.

  • This is great!

This video must be BEFORE Phil Collins joined mushy music w/Disney. Sorry if I offended but listen the before and after and you'll see what I mean.

  • OOOOh with phil :D GREAT!!!

  • great i can really feel the music.

  • varios irrepetibles juntos, hay que verlo.
