The solos in this song and especially @ 3:45 are probably my favourite Petrucci solos. All of his Dream Theater solo's in what I call his Steve Rothery style. I am a huge fan of 80's Marillion (for me their last good album was Season's End) so associate this type of clean solo with him.
The solos in this song are also my faves of Petrucci's, and his slower clean solos is where I feel he always excels to his very best, and that's not taking anything away from his shredding ability. I never tire of this song, f***ing mindblowing.
