Yeah but when these people portray lavish lifestyles, one can't help but begin to ask questions.....especially the income tax. Is this all true? Was Jesus a rich man? He was a carpenter by trade and yet these rich evangelists feign the following of the teachings of Jesus and yet live lavishly. At the end of the day, is evangelism all about money? To say that all evangelists are the same is not fair to those who are really doing their work with much sincerity. There are many I know who are giving away all they have for the sake of love for God's children. Their numbers are far greater than the ones who are false. Therefore, we need to see things with much objectivity.

But a person does not need expensive hotel rooms to rest. Why collect donations and lavishly spend them again? I live in a christian state and non of the preachers EVER ask for donations. To say that all evangelists are the same is not fair to those who are really doing their work with much sincerity. There are many I know who are giving away all they have for the sake of love for God's children. Their numbers are far greater than the ones who are false. It is not a surprise that men or women of God would fall at some time of their life. Like us they are also human being and prone to sin. These people work hard to bring people to God but in doing so, they are exposed to spiritual attack. Satan would try anything to stop them.
One thing we christians should do is to protect them by praying for them. When we condemn them, we are exposing not only them, but also ourselves to satan's attack. So be aware dear brothers and sisters, don't slumber.
