@Misel982001 Because you would not compare Su-35 with f-16.Su-35 can be compared with f-15 or f-18.

And that because F-35 is a light bomber-fighter,while F-22 is a heavy air superiority fighter.There are some really huge differences between these categories.I.E. the heavy fighter class like F-22,F-18,F-15,Su-35,T-50 can carry better radar,have more fuel,more payload,and most basically,two engines.

@Misel982001 It depends.F-15 has a radar with double the range,and it can carry more aim-120 missiles for hitting beyond visual range.F-16 on the other hand has more maneurability so if it gets close it can overtake an F-15.

But the truth is that an F-15 against a single F-16 will lock on and fire 2 or even more aim-120(chances for hit are about 90% for each missile) from 60 miles away,then turn around and leave.Either way,yup,F-15 will win.

@Misel982001 Heat seek missiles like aim-9 can be evaded with flares,and radar seeking missiles like aim 120 with chaffs.Every modern aircraft uses these countermeasures.Also,thee are jammers capable of disrupting the communications of missiles with the radars of the sustems that launched them.But small aircrafts like f-16 do not have such kind of jammers,and I guess neither will f-35

@Misel982001 Officialy F-35 is so good because it is stealthy,at lest on the front angle,which means it can move straight to its target and bomb it while remaining undetected,at least for a while.On the other hand F-22 and B-2 can remain constantly undetected as they are stealthy from every angle.I dont know why F-35 is so expensive,but truth is that even the F-16 is much better in many aspects,such as range,maneurability,payload,re­liability etc

@Misel982001 My opinion is that F-35 is so expensive because its a damn good excuse to convince USA citizens that f-16 is old,so they have to replace them by paying a few trillions.Also,F-35 will make a good export product,with countries like mine paying a ton of money to have one useless squandron of wannabe stealth fighters just to show the obedience to US.

F-35 will be cheap to made and at the same time will have a few fancy things to justify high price.It is not made for war....

@vfIskullangel T-50 will be in service about 2-3 years after the F-35 becomes operational.Nevertheless and as I stated before,FUCK F-35.It is made to replace F-16,which means it will be a cheaply made expencive sold piece of shit by L.M. Aero,strictly designed to create a logistic nightmare and a black hole to the budget of many nations including mine(Greece lol).Far better to invest in a plane like F-15S silent eagle rather than this piece of crap
