You're right. Probably because the solo player is Steve Norman e because Gary is better on rhythm instead of solo. In my opinion his bendings were often a bit out of tune, but he's got a good touch in the recent performances. He also has a good picking, so he can hazard more in the future, It's only a matter of practice :). However, on live performance, as in video editing I uploaded, he used to have simple but good solos (Gold, To Cut Long Story, Fight For Ourselves...).

If you like Spandau Ballet live, I must suggest the dvd "Live From The N.E.C." (1986) you can find it at hmv . com ("From the N.E.C." not "At the N.E.C." as they write) at 6,99 £ (about 8 €)+shipping (free for England). It's a fabulous concert.

Se vi piacciono gli SB live, vi consiglio il DVD "Live From The NEC" lo trovate su hmv . com (loro scrivono "At" invece che "From") a 8 euro+spese spedizione. E' il concerto del Through The Barricades Tour del 1986. Bellissimo.

....stai scherzando? se hai qualcosa su qualche vecchia videocassetta...non buttare via niente...sto cercando materiale dell'epoca! hai ragione...era ovviamente videomusic....io deliravo quel giorno perchè ogni tanto videomusic non si vedeva bene....e ovviamente persi lo spandau ballet day! (riusci a vedere solo piccoli frammenti!)

per cui se hai qualcosa ....aspetto con ansia!

Forse su una vecchissima videocassetta che mi diede un amico (ai tempi io non avevo il videoregistratore) ho il concerto del Through The Barricades tour da cui hanno tratto il dvd, registrato da Italia1, la trasmissione mi sembra si chiamasse Rock a Mezzanotte, ma essendoci il dvd non è molto utile. Sullo SB day temo di non avere nulla,ma controllerò. Io li vidi pochi giorni dopo a Roma. Ho gli spartiti per chitarra comprati nell'87 però :)

Grande, ti ricordi dello Spandau Ballet Day da Firenze su Videomusic (non MTV :) )? Avevo qualcosa ma mi sa che è andato perduto. Devo vedere in qualche vecchia videocassetta. Però in compenso ho comprato il DVD di quel tour e metterò presto qualcosa. Rimani sintonizzata.
