Its not like the band is gonna fall apart just because josh and zac left. We still have Jeremey, Taylor and Hayley. I never really liked Josh anyway because he was always making fun of Hayley in thier videos. I just think that Josh was jelous that Hayley gets the most attention. Of course shes gonna get more attention after all she is the lead singer. What Josh needed to know was that thier fans (us) loved all of them equally. Josh seriously needs to grow up and except the facts.

both hayley and the farros screwed up, one thing thats goin around is she's the only one that got signed, farros shouldve really stepped in and said we want to get signed but i guess they were too excited they got somewhere, and hayley shouldve told them they should get signed too, they were too excited to get somewhere and that bit them in the end
Well she did sign a contract with out the rest of the band. When you repeatedly talk about the "importance of the band" and then do that, it is about at low as you can get. I would never do that to the peeps in my band. I wish Zac and Josh the best, good guys.

I love Paramore more than any other band, and I'll miss Zac and Josh a hell of a lot, but hey!- we still have Jerm, Hayles and Tay so let's us Parawhores stay positive! Paramore is (still) a band. <3

Kind of disappointing... This has been my favorite band for a long time, their music won't be the same. But I still like there unselfishness in supporting the others and their happiness! Still sad though...

Josh and Zac didn't 'suck'. They left because they didn't get much of the limelight. But Zac hasn't said anyhting about HIM wanting to leave. Josh gets more limelight than Zac. Zac might of just followed him because he's his brother or for his own opinion of what was going on. So don't say the Farros suck because every band eventually has memberswho go former.

You don't know them or what's going on between them so don't judge any of them. I love Paramore and I love josh and Zac. They had their own reasons for leaving so stop hating them for it.
Josh was actually being jerky last year and I wasn't surprised, but Zac, :( he's the drum beast :( Paramore... I'm not sure about their up coming music because I don't want it to sound different..

I got into paramore when I found out they were Christian so I guess whom ever is closest to God has my vote... come on paramore you profess to love Christ but show no love for each other, maybe you need to focus more on church attendance then on pleasing the world.... thats just my oppinion... :)

I think they pushed it a little saying "Hayley and Jeremy’s views started changing from what we all once believed in." Talking about some of the lyrics from Ignorant. Hayley was talking about the band and her problems with Josh. The truth about their relationship, their friendships and the whole idea of their band. 'The truth' that they came to didn't give her clearity, so she gave it to herself. I.e writing the song.
Reading the Farro brothers exit statement to me, sounded like classic recording company BS. Actually like Josie and the Pussycats (the movie) ha. When the company knew from the get go that the lead singer had the most talent, or was at least the most marketable. Which, when push comes to shove is all the company's really care about. It seemed to me that Hayley was pushing for the band all along, and she never wanted to be a solo artist.
Something people in bands have to realize, the leas singer always gets more attention, especially if she's a girl. The lead singer is the front runner, the voice, and usually the most charismatic as well. Think about it, Hole, Nirvana, Garbage, Aerosmith, Coldplay - can you even name the other band members? Lead singers always get more credit, get over it.

The farro's probably left because of money and contractual agreements, people don't realise how many contracts there are behind the scenes and how much stress bands in the limelight are under.
Another reason they left is because they where probably jealous of Hayley working with massive RnB stars and leaving them out.
I'm a fan of Paramore, but I didn't like their latest album Brand New Eyes as much as the previous albums. I've also noticed a change in Hayley. I don't like her as much. It's easy to see that she's become a diva of sorts and is the main focus of the band. (Obviously lead singers usually are.) I'm glad the Farro brothers left for the sake of their sanity. If leaving the band makes them happy then I'm happy with their decision.

Love Paramore. I think what happened to them is that Hayley became bigger than Paramore itself - which kind of broke them apart. I can't for upcoming music, however.
i'm just gonna say i loved them all the farro brothers wrote some of my favorite songs on their cd's but they can't expect for the lead singer to not get all of the attention i mean she's the lead singer and plus she's a redhead:] but i am very sad they left.

She could've been like "this is our band," but she didn't. She insisted it was her rodeo. Josh and Zac left because it wasn't right for them anymore and they were sick of being kicked around by a rude Hayley watching her slip away from everything they all once believed in: music for music's sake; not for dollar signs.

It's actually Zac Farro and Jason Clark's new band called Tunnel not Josh, he said he was settling down with his wife and pursuing other things besides music idk too much about Zac but seems to me if he released a song with Jason he just wants to pursue more music on his own but idk i rlly cnt say much

I love paramore, but i honestly wasn't suprised the farros left the band. Josh and Zac rarley went to interviews or carpet events in the past year or so, and it was always Taylor, Hayley, and Jeremy. No doubt I was upset they left, but i believe paramore can recover from this and come out stronger, atleast i hope so...... When "All we know is falling" came out, Paramore had a few members quit and they obviosly recovered from that.

She is the fucking singer! You can replace the guitarist, the drummer, the bass, but the -voice- is the only thing that if it changes, could alter the sound completely.
When you start a band, you should be prepared for that. Short of you all taking turns, the singer will get the most face. because she's the -singer-, and if they couldn't handle that, I'm glad they left, because now they all can shine separately.
Now I won't say that. I read Joshs blog post, and really, I think she was in denial about the groups problems. Her family and manager seemed to force this dream on the whole band, Hayley probably tried it out, thinking it'd be even, and when it wasn't, instead of leaving it alone, she kept trying to fix something that couldn't be fixed.
But I hope their new band 'The farros' I think, does good, I'll support them, cause even though it wasn't Hayleys fault (directly) I understand.

@kaijurajinx lol actually...if you read more into paramore it was the farro brothers who started the band and originally auditioned hayley to sing in the band. Hayley had an agent "her parents" that pulled her out because they wanted her to get more of the spotlight. Then they decided to let her back into the band, where her lable "Atlantic" (she is the only one signed to them) took over paramore.
so maybe you should read into stuff a bit more before you just say random shit.

And your talking about the equipment, the style, and the experience. I'm saying all of these can be acquired. You can buy equipment, you can change styles, and you can gain experience. But you can't have someones voice. So yes, they're interchangable.

And no, just playing chords doesn't make you great. Know how to play with chords, scales and other elements make you great, and not everybody get to that stage.
Yeah not everyone -does- but anyone -can-. Not everyone will, yes. But I'm saying it's not out of the realm of possibilities to play the guitar like the greatest legend you know.
It is however impossible to sing like someone.
So once again. Although I'd agree, there are people on the guitar that I'm sure I could pick out right away by their style and skill. But these can be acquired. It's unlikely. But it's possible.

@kaijurajinx - Ok, you got a point. Still, anyone CAN become a legend, but most just DON'T. That's a fact, otherwise we would have hundreds of legends (ok, some may be a bit overrated, but for the most part, they deserve the title).
As for singer, yes, one voice is usually unique from the other. But I have to play the devil's advocate here, because many, many vocalists tend to sound too generic, so many, many times the "unique" voice is lost in mediocrity.
I will toast to you on that. But I think that has more to do with their music being generic then the voice. I vaugely remember britney being able to sing when she was a kid. But this pop thing, and the sexy rasp sells. And it sounds generic. So toast to that. But when people actually give in, and sing correctly, it sounds good, and it is it's own unique thing.
But nowadays, as long as an artist isn't marketing what they don't have, I'm fine.
@kaijurajinx - Sometimes it's the music, but sometimes people just don't take the time to develop. Take overnight celebrities like boy bands and pop cookie-cutter girl singers. Maybe they have the potential, but since they have success only because of their looks and the overuse of Autotune, they stay the same.
It's all about practice, man. It affects vocalists and instrumentalists alike. Only those who devote themselves to their craft become excellent.
@kaijurajinx - I'm not implying that Hayley Williams' voice is generic, though. I'm talking in general... In fact, I like her voice: it's sexy, powerful and as far as I'm concerned she has a tasty use of vibrato (doesn't over use it, uses it where it sounds best, etc.).
I usually dig pop too though. Alot of people think pop is the sell out genre, but not at all. As long as they show their talent in their music, and they do it with passion, who are we to judge? Yknow... other than the people who make them money. Lol.
But yeah, Hayleys voice is sexy, sounds great live, and she's got a good pair of lungs on her.
@kaijurajinx - Sorry, I don't dig pop that much. I'm a hard rocker. Now and then, though, I like catchy songs like That's What You Get. And Paramore is technically rock (or pop-rock, or pop-punk, whatever), so it kind of blends what I like with pop.

Yeah, I'm a metalhead myself, it's primary genre in my heart, Metal & rock. & Dubstep. & then Alternative. & then whatever the hell Bjork is. but I think it's really unfair when I hear my own fellow metal brethren dissing pop, cause metal (be that, death, doom, or melodic) doesn't get as much face time. Tis sad but the American market is just like that. Not succeccful peoples fault :(

I have "met" a few metalheads on forums and here and such, and they often oscilate between those that are quite intelligent and open-minded (less often) than those who are just rude, and generic and square-minded (more often). Metal, and any other genre for that matter, might benefit from having less of the latter fans.

Lol, Try going 2 metal covers of any pop artist, even if they can sing. It seems no one can love an artist without dissing another one. Do they enjoy co-existing, or are they just that ignorant?

@kaijurajinx - I guess that's what "true" love for a band/ soloist is, being capable of defending them to the "death". That's why I like some songs from many bands, but I don't really care much for the people behind it. They're people, after all, with defects. IMHO, this should always be about the music, not about the people who make them.

Now that's not to say I don't have huge respect for someone who can rock out on the electric better than my ass, and I'm not downsizing Josh or his brothers role in it at all, and I do think what they went through was pretty shitty, and that sucks, but the fact is, it would be alot more noticeable if the singer in a group was changed, versus a guitarist, or drummer. Unless they all took turns singing, then yeah, sry, but the singer will get the most attention.

I did read the blog, and albeit I think alot of it is from the butt hurt perspective, I fully understand that the farro brothers got fucked over, and that's why I support them too through this. 9/10 you can replace a guitarist for one song, and short of them being a legend, who does distinctive crazy shit anyways, no one will notice. Well she did sign a contract with out the rest of the band. When you repeatedly talk about the "importance of the band" and then do that, it is about at low as you can get. I would never do that to the peeps in my band. I wish Zac and Josh the best, good guys.

Josh and Zac didn't 'suck'. They left because they didn't get much of the limelight. But Zac hasn't said anyhting about HIM wanting to leave. Josh gets more limelight than Zac. I think they pushed it a little saying "Hayley and Jeremy’s views started changing from what we all once believed in." Talking about some of the lyrics from Ignorant. Hayley was talking about the band and her problems with Josh. The truth about their relationship, their friendships and the whole idea of their band. 'The truth' that they came to didn't give her clearity, so she gave it to herself. I.e writing the song.

Reading the Farro brothers exit statement to me, sounded like classic recording company BS. Actually like Josie and the Pussycats (the movie) ha. When the company knew from the get go that the lead singer had the most talent, or was at least the most marketable. Which, when push comes to shove is all the company's really care about. It seemed to me that Hayley was pushing for the band all along, and she never wanted to be a solo artist.

Something people in bands have to realize, the leas singer always gets more attention, especially if she's a girl. The lead singer is the front runner, the voice, and usually the most charismatic as well. Think about it, Hole, Nirvana, Garbage, Aerosmith, Coldplay - can you even name the other band members? Lead singers always get more credit, get over it.

The farro's probably left because of money and contractual agreements, people don't realise how many contracts there are behind the scenes and how much stress bands in the limelight are under.
Another reason they left is because they where probably jealous of Hayley working with massive RnB stars and leaving them out.
I hope they're next album is as good as AWKIF.

I'm a fan of Paramore, but I didn't like their latest album Brand New Eyes as much as the previous albums. I've also noticed a change in Hayley. I don't like her as much. It's easy to see that she's become a diva of sorts and is the main focus of the band. (Obviously lead singers usually are.) I'm glad the Farro brothers left for the sake of their sanity. If leaving the band makes them happy then I'm happy with their decision.

I love paramore, but i honestly wasn't suprised the farros left the band. Josh and Zac rarley went to interviews or carpet events in the past year or so, and it was always Taylor, Hayley, and Jeremy. No doubt I was upset they left, but i believe paramore can recover from this and come out stronger, atleast i hope so...... When "All we know is falling" came out, Paramore had a few members quit and they obviosly recovered from that.

She is the fucking singer! You can replace the guitarist, the drummer, the bass, but the -voice- is the only thing that if it changes, could alter the sound completely.
When you start a band, you should be prepared for that. Short of you all taking turns, the singer will get the most face. because she's the -singer-, and if they couldn't handle that, I'm glad they left, because now they all can shine separately.

Now I won't say that. I read Joshs blog post, and really, I think she was in denial about the groups problems. Her family and manager seemed to force this dream on the whole band, Hayley probably tried it out, thinking it'd be even, and when it wasn't, instead of leaving it alone, she kept trying to fix something that couldn't be fixed.
But I hope their new band 'The farros' I think, does good, I'll support them, cause even though it wasn't Hayleys fault (directly) I understand.

@kaijurajinx lol actually...if you read more into paramore it was the farro brothers who started the band and originally auditioned hayley to sing in the band. Hayley had an agent "her parents" that pulled her out because they wanted her to get more of the spotlight. Then they decided to let her back into the band, where her lable "Atlantic" (she is the only one signed to them) took over paramore.
so maybe you should read into stuff a bit more before you just say random shit.

As for singer, yes, one voice is usually unique from the other. But I have to play the devil's advocate here, because many, many vocalists tend to sound too generic, so many, many times the "unique" voice is lost in mediocrity.

I will toast to you on that. But I think that has more to do with their music being generic then the voice. I vaugely remember britney being able to sing when she was a kid. But this pop thing, and the sexy rasp sells. And it sounds generic. So toast to that. But when people actually give in, and sing correctly, it sounds good, and it is it's own unique thing.
But nowadays, as long as an artist isn't marketing what they don't have, I'm fine.

Maybe they have the potential, but since they have success only because of their looks and the overuse of Autotune, they stay the same.

@kaijurajinx - I'm not implying that Hayley Williams' voice is generic, though. I'm talking in general... In fact, I like her voice: it's sexy, powerful and as far as I'm concerned she has a tasty use of vibrato (doesn't over use it, uses it where it sounds best, etc.).

I usually dig pop too though. Alot of people think pop is the sell out genre, but not at all. As long as they show their talent in their music, and they do it with passion, who are we to judge? Yknow... other than the people who make them money. Lol.
But yeah, Hayleys voice is sexy, sounds great live, and she's got a good pair of lungs on her.

@kaijurajinx - Sorry, I don't dig pop that much. I'm a hard rocker. Now and then, though, I like catchy songs like That's What You Get. And Paramore is technically rock (or pop-rock, or pop-punk, whatever), so it kind of blends what I like with pop.
I can agree, though. Just because it's pop music doesn't mean it's a sellout.

Yeah, I'm a metalhead myself, it's primary genre in my heart, Metal & rock. & Dubstep. & then Alternative. & then whatever the hell Bjork is. but I think it's really unfair when I hear my own fellow metal brethren dissing pop, cause metal (be that, death, doom, or melodic) doesn't get as much face time. Tis sad but the American market is just like that. Not succeccful peoples fault :(
I do get pissed a askew when I see peeps like Rihanna & Katy perry tho... their just hot...

I have "met" a few metalheads on forums and here and such, and they often oscilate between those that are quite intelligent and open-minded (less often) than those who are just rude, and generic and square-minded (more often). Metal, and any other genre for that matter, might benefit from having less of the latter fans.
And you are so right about the market. They WANT pretty but talentless people, and that's what they promote.

Lol, Try going 2 metal covers of any pop artist, even if they can sing. It seems no one can love an artist without dissing another one. Do they enjoy co-existing, or are they just that ignorant?
It's also two fold though.
I.E. Lady Gaga. I'll be first to say she's not unique, but she is quite different. She's also -one- of the most talented pop artist today, like it or not. But It seems not fitting into the cookie cutter idea of 'Art' (Which is absurd in itself), loses you points

@kaijurajinx - I guess that's what "true" love for a band/ soloist is, being capable of defending them to the "death". That's why I like some songs from many bands, but I don't really care much for the people behind it. They're people, after all, with defects. IMHO, this should always be about the music, not about the people who make them.

Now that's not to say I don't have huge respect for someone who can rock out on the electric better than my ass, and I'm not downsizing Josh or his brothers role in it at all, and I do think what they went through was pretty shitty, and that sucks, but the fact is, it would be alot more noticeable if the singer in a group was changed, versus a guitarist, or drummer. Unless they all took turns singing, then yeah, sry, but the singer will get the most attention.

I did read the blog, and albeit I think alot of it is from the butt hurt perspective, I fully understand that the farro brothers got fucked over, and that's why I support them too through this. But as far as Hayley getting the most face time, yeah.Now it's still not good because they weren't treated well, but they (the people in the comments, and the brothers as far as attention goes from their fans) should have expected Hayley to be in the spot light the most. Just sayin.

Yeah, that was my only point, in general, the singer, if they are the main one singing, they -will- get the most attention. I was commenting on that one aspect, why she got attention. I understand the overall issue was more that. They got effed over by the record company, her family, and her dad. But I don't understand why the backlash went on Hayley for that. Wait, no, I do, but I think it's irrational that it did.

In any case, I said it once, and I'll say it again. Yes, the farro brothers got fucked over. Yes, I support them, because they were in a shitty situation at a young age. No, I do not feel they should be replaced. But yes, they will and can be.
And yeah, every member has their own instrument, and even their own style, but as of now, Paramores voice is more distinctive then it's instruments. Which is why she gets the most face time.

9/10 you can replace a guitarist for one song, and short of them being a legend, who does distinctive crazy shit anyways, no one will notice. I don't think it would fly to easily if Hayley couldn't come to her recording studio, and Beyonce' took over. That's my point. I'm not downsizing their roles, but etc...
