  • possible and impossible St. Nick will be giving a gift to the people by way of "red shirts camouflage". he will be giving a gift in the manner and said, "Take this gift and pray on the day of the birth of Jesus"

  • Рождество Деда Мороза))) ржу. Хороший ролик

  • I'm not entirely sure what you're saying. Are you saying that I'm from Israel? Because even if I was (and I'm not), I fail to see how that pertains to the argument at hand. If you go to Wikipedia and look up Jesus, you will find that there is no historical evidence to support Jesus' birth in any particular month. Many biblical scholars believe he was actually born in autumn, not winter. PM me if you would like to know more, although I have a feeling you don't.

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged Wikipedia? lol

  • If only I have seen this before Christmas, then I could have shared this to people.

  • @emoasfxck Actually his birth was recorded by Christians and Non-Christians. It was an important part of history when he was crucified on the cross. So whether or you believe he was the son of God and did die on the cross for our sins is up to you. As far as him being, "imaginary" is not true. Its a fact he did exist.

  • @127megaman Yes, but today's idea of Jesus is so far removed from any wandering preacher named Yeshua that he's as fictional as the fat guy at the north pole with reindeer and elves. It's physically impossible to do anything he did, raising the dead, water to wine, etc etc, so just because it happened 2000 years ago I'm supposed to take it as fact? The Bible's picture of Jesus is just as imaginary as that of Santa from a child's story book.

  • @127megaman let me correct that, just because a BOOK from 2000 years ago SAYS it happened.

  • @emoasfxck Just that fact alone that the Bible has lasted 200 years is amazing to me. Have you heard of any other book in history to have lasted that long? Have you ever heard of a book more popular than the Bible? I mean it must be important if whole countries have band it. Why are people so against it if it is just a book from 2000 years ago. There are many other things that talk about Jesus. There are paintings and songs and other historical records about Jesus.

  • @JesusLover771 Well, when you kill anyone who doesn't agree with your book, it tends to catch on. And yes, there are other records of Christ...from hundreds of years after he supposedly died.

  • @emoasfxck I don't want to kill anyone! Why would I ever want to do that? I don't want to force people into believing what the Bible say . Jesus gave everyone the free will to choose. He is not forcing anyone and neither am I, but if I died ed to save people from going to Hell and giving them the door to Heaven. I would really want people to accept that gift. Jesus did that, yet he doesn't force us to accept His gift. He lets us choose.

  • @JesusLover771 I'm not saying that YOU specifically want to kill non-believers (though if you haven't seen the hate coming from the #GodIsNotGreat trend after Christopher Hitchens died, I'd look into that. Lots of people seem to want to.) but I was responding to the reason why it's so popular and has held on so long. You can't deny that the early church tortured and murdered people of other or no faith. There's much more history backing that up than there is Christ's existence.

  • @JesusLover771 So Jesus gave people the opportunity to choose, but the choices He gave were to either accept his beliefs and worship his father or burn in hell. Gee, sure sounds like a benevolent, well-meaning guy to me.

  • @JesusLover771 Keep in mind that recorded history is often wildly inaccurate. Quite often, it is only the popular tale that are written down, and many things are changed in the process. For that matter, think about where the Bible came from. It was written by men, for men. Even if it was written with the best of intentions, it doesn't take much to warp meaning over 2000 years of recopying. Ever play "telephone" in elementary school? Think of it like that.

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged ...except when early copies are compared to later copies there is no difference other than some punctuation.

  • @xIpyreIx Scholars have deduced the date of the first part of the Bible as having been written at about 57 CE at the earliest. Jesus died at 36 CE at the latest. So over twenty years passed before any records were placed on paper. In addition, the modern Bible is a conglomeration of many differing texts from different authors, copied by hand over a thousand years. I guarantee that there are differences from the actual historical events within the pages of the Bible.

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged Wait, so the Torah wasn't written until AFTER Jesus died? The scrolls that were read to the assembled people and were studied in the temples for centuries before Christ was born had what on them, exactly? That makes no sense. Everybody has scholars so just saying referencing some arbitrary scholar really does nothing to prove anything.

  • @xIpyreIx Just see the Wikipedia article for "Dating the Bible." And sorry, I should have clarified that I meant the New Testament.

  • @127megaman while his existance is a proven fact, his birthday is not. even among christian historians it is commonly agreed that there is no evidence that jesus was actually born on christmas day, or any other specific day for that matter. more likely, the church chose the date to coincide with various other religions' days of note and thereby ease the conversion of people from those relgions. much in the same way/line of reasoning that many saints were chosen.

  • This is almost as bad as the Facebook one...

  • The big difference for me is what happens when you're naughty. If you've been a bad or simply mediocre person, Santa disappoints you by giving you coal. However, Jesus sends you to burn in hell for eternity.

  • How can someone tell the difference between naughty and nice? No one is perfect. Have you ever lied? Have you ever complained about something? Every one is really naughty. Just think about it the only reason we would try to be nice is because we want presents. Jesus doesn't want us to go to hell! He want us to be in heaven that is why He came to this earth and died for us! He took our punishment for being naughty, and all we have to do is except that and we are free!

  • I fail to see how one man's death atones for the vast number of "sins" committed in the last 2000 years. I hate to pull Godwin's Law out on this one, but believing in that is basically like saying the Holocaust was "okay" because Hitler died in the end. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but do so using logic and not blind reference to bible passages. Happy holidays!

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged Look at Jesus this way. Say Istole $10000 from you. You would be upset with me. You have 2 options either recoup your loss by getting even with me and taking the money back OR you could take the loss. God chose to take that loss of sin by passing the punishment of death to His son. If you were to take the loss, you are still out the money but you take it upon yourself to forgive the debts. God gave His son to die to take our sins because Christ IS God and He loves us.

  • this is so stupid. Science> ... what was the competition again?

  • Actually St Nicholas was not a real person. There was no diocese of Myra at the time when he was supposed to have been bishop of it; nobody called Nicholas was present at Nicea; the earliest mention of such a person is about 400 years after he was supposed to have existed.. The Catholic Church has supporessed his cult on the grounds that he is insufficiently historical. He is no more real than the Coca Cola Santa or the medieval Old Father Christmas.

  • I would say that people who worship Jesus are just as selfish as people who worship Santa. Besides that is all pointless because as every knows the church of FSM is the only true path to happiness.

  • @Kenneth1238 I love you.

  • @emoasfxck On the contrary, St. Nick was definitely a real person.

  • @MrOrangePancake And yet, Santa was not. Saint Nicholas and Santa are very different, even though Santa is based on St. Nicholas. He is VERY losely based on him.

  • @MrOrangePancake Santa =/= St. Nick. Either way, I guess that makes Santa more real than Jesus.

  • @emoasfxck Jesus is real. He is our almighty father. Peace be with you.

  • @MultiMiles2010 Jesus is based on a real person the same as the fat jolly man in a red suit is based on St. Nicholas. People's visions of them now bear little resemblance to their inspiration. Jesus even less so than Santa. Do you think someone from the Middle East 2000 years ago would really look Caucasian? I appreciate the peace wishes though, even if I am at perfect peace with myself and the world.

  • Comment removed

  • @emoasfxck is imaginary... =)

  • @andrecookhi5 Pretty sure I could prove I exist. Has Jesus?

  • if Jesus was not born in CHRISTmas santa did not exist

  • @GingaHAGANEpegasus

Nah. The Santa we know now is based on a real individual that we have records of. Jesus, not so much.

  • @Fordi Actually, the modern Santa Claus is a creation of the Coca-Cola company. Father christmas, st nicholas etc, not quite the same thing.

The original gift deliver was the Norse god Odin. He rode an 8 legged flying horse, and the kids would leave their boots full of carrots and hay for the horse, in return, Odin filled them with goodies.

Even the St Nicholas mythology was stolen.

The Birth of the Son aka The day after the solstice is the "birth of the sun" daylight grows from there.

  • @GingaHAGANEpegasus Jesus wasn't born on Christmas.

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged yes he was just because your not a believer doesnt mean you have to give YOUR words were catholic and your from israel lol!

  • Dont u realize santa means satan

  • @tsuna381 that makes no fucking sense you dumbass? you must be one of those christian crazed 11 year olds searching for anything with a trace of bad in it so you can call it satanic.,

  • @acidrespawn 'course he is.

  • Here's another important difference.

Jesus is real and Santa Claus isn't.

  • @GracehasVictory I gave you a thumbs up because I though you said it the other way around.

  • no evidence of Santa Claus in the Bible. Most children forget Jesus at Christmas day because of Santa Claus.

  • Jesus Wasn't born on Christmas!

  • You sound like a Jehovahs Witness who says anything they can to discount who Jesus really is, and He IS GOD. I think the JW are satanic and not Christians at all. Who else would want to put such a damper on the beautiful wonderful glorious time to celebrate the LORD's coming to earth? Merry Christmas! I celebrate God's Son in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost. If you dont want to, keep it to yourself and die in your grave.

  • Jesus birthday is not on Christmas, it is in the fall. When the Peagan Romans converted to Chritianity, they used it to cover up the Peagen celebration in December. There is no where in the Bible that says the date or even the year. So in all actual you are celebrating a Pagan holiday. Plus most of our Christmas traditions come from Pagan traditions, such as the Christmas tree, wreaths, decorations, and many other things.

  • So everyone is perfectly fine to accept that Christmas is Jesus's birthday even though it doesn't say that in the Bible? Is that the way things are gonna be? We just let things go even though we know they are wrong? That's what the people of Germany did when Hitler rose to power you know, they knew it was wrong but thought it would be ok. I'm not saying anything bad will come of it here, but something bad will come of that way of doing things for sure.......HAPPY XMAS! XXX

  • @Indie9999 the 25th of december is the day chosen to celebrate jesus' birthday. Its a festival named christmas. Theres nothing wrong with that, just like people have birthday parties days before or days after the specific date they were born, so what.

  • @Sh3nmu What's the point of having all the rules and traditions behind a religion if people can just make up new stuff, it belittles the whole idea. It just goes to show how made up the whole thing is, which is what I know believe. It's all made up, and now it's all gotten out of hand what with the craziest of the Christians claiming the earth is only 6000 years old. The whole thing is clearly bonkers.

  • @Indie9999 mate, you don't even know what your talking about. just because the bible doesn't instruct Christians to celebrate Christmas doesn't mean we're breaking any law or code. How does celebrating Christmas 'go to show' that the whole thing is made up? No ones edited the bible claiming we have to be festive in December so I don't see what the harm is.Some Christians go out of there way to celebrate Christmas, to commemorate or praise the birth of Jesus, not to alter the bibles teachings.

  • @Sh3nmu I think I feel this way because I don't believe Jesus is anything but a normal guy, if he even existed at all! I believe it's a myth that has perpetuated through time and little bits like this 25th of December addition get added on all the time and soon people forget and then before long the real messages and reasons for it all are forgotten and then people get so confused they demand that we stop educating people real science because it contradicts these stories.

  • @Indie9999 your argument holds no weight, keep your opinions to yourself, we don't wan't to hear it. not on this page. your not even backing up your arguments with any valid references. keep it to yourself.

  • @Sh3nmu I'm sorry man, I don't know what I hope to achieve by telling people I think they are wrong. As long as we stay true to ourselves, and as long as we just be nice to one another this is all that is required. It's just I see people like Ted Haggard and Rick Perry, and I assume that Christianity is what makes these people the way they are, but it's not, because I know some great Christians. We have to judge people individually on what they do. Again, I am sorry.

  • @Indie9999 I agree, thanks for your comment.

  • Wow! I absolutely love what you guys are doing and will post your videos on my Blog. Keep it up! Do you guys do custom videos? I'd be very interested in that!

  • i love the background music for this video they sould sell it as an mp3

  • well- I think you've forgotten that when Santa comes he wears Red and when the Savior will come again he will also wear red and Santa comes in the night and the Savior will come like a thief in the night. I

  • i have a message to all of you.....

Jesus Said that a person who going through the gate is a shepherd but the person who crash into the gate or dont pass through the gate is a THIEF

  • santa = satan ,instead of kids focusing on the spiritual ,he has them focused on the material ,demonic forces surplanted satan ,excuse me santa to divert attention from CHRIST

  • @roxfoot Santa didn't do that, capitalism did. The stories of Santa and saint Nicholas are stories of good morals. Also all the nordic versions of Santa are good, they are nothing to do with shopping till you drop. Capitalism does this with it's need for growth.

  • @Indie9999

no one wh understands Christianity believes CHRIST was born on dec 25

santa is like the patron saint of capitalism ,and has nothing to do with Christianity ,me i believe the Bible that forbids idolatry

  • @roxfoot Out of interest do you follow the bible literally? And have you only read the king james one?

  • @Indie9999

    whats your point

  • @roxfoot Just because they are all different aren't they.

  • @Indie9999

there are some slight changes in some Bibles ,but when you research the topic you will understand who made them and why ,then you will understand that the king james bible is the original translated from the byzantine texts by erasmus ,and the doctrine therein is perfect where as the others contradict themselves

  • @roxfoot Yeah sure. When you say that its a perfect doctrine, do you think that working on the sabbath warrants the death penalty? And also do you think that wearing fabric of mixed content ie cotton and wool, shouldn't be allowed?

Or do you just mean the reasonable doctrines are perfect?

  • @Indie9999

there is a great scene on youtube that raises this issue from the west wing but done so as to poison those who are not prepared ,though it seems like a valid question to you it is absolutely ridiculous to a Christian ,heres why ,the old testament laws are a mirror for us to look into ,and understand how bad we are and why we need CHRIST ,who the Bible tells us did not remove the law but fufill it ,no Christian can keep the law ,we are perfected in CHRIST

  • @roxfoot So Christians don't have to follow the laws of the bible because Jesus already did that?

  • @Indie9999

any Christian that tells you he is without sin is a liar ,the Bible tells us over an over we are not good ,CHRIST said there is none good but GOD ,no matter how righteous a life you live it is never enough ,isaiah reads that your best is a dirty rag to GOD ,however if you are a Christian ,Christ will perfect you ,its not a free ride ,its a commitment ,and you will try to do whats right ,because its right

  • @roxfoot So you just have to try and do what's right according to the laws of the Bible? Or try to do what's right according to what you feel is right?

  • @Indie9999

try and do what right according to the whole Bible not just the old testament ,when you watch a dvd ,you watch all of it ,not just the start ,because the latter part of the story tells you Galatians 2;21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain" ,in fact the whole book of Galatians deals with this matter ,if you are really interested and not just trying to be a smart arse

  • @Indie9999

Galatians 2;16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

  • @roxfoot So don't go so crazy following all the laws of the bible, like not wearing mixed material clothes and killing people for working on a Saturday. As long as you have faith in Jesus you'll be fine. I'll pass this on to the next homophobic Christian I come across, not for them to get so hung up on these little bits here and there, just focus on their faith in Jesus.

There's always some line that backs up the way someone wants to deal with the bible no wander people get confused!

  • @Indie9999

actually a homphobic Christian has right to be ,as had a man faith in CHRIST he would not be homosexual ,the two are mutually exclusive ,so when a Christian confronts a gay ,its out of love and is warning a brother that his ways are unto destruction ,also the doctrine behind homosexuality is an offence to GOD ,The laws are upheld in CHRIST ,but its not a ticket to a sinful life ,its a commitment to effort ,which gays do not make

  • @roxfoot Ahh, hmm, well as an atheist, I feel I am someone who see's the egoless nature of the universe through the understanding of the scientific method and how observation is paramount above all else, and these aspects lead me out of love to try and explain to Christians who are living a confused life by being unable to yield and accept others for who they are that there is more than likely no god, and if there were he/she/it doesn't actually do much, possibly nothing. But I won't.

  • @Indie9999

actually as an atheist you are adhering to the doctrine of devils ,who have poisoned man with the original lie from the garden "you can be like god" its an appeal to mans ego ,that he is the judge ,trouble is ,that philosophy is relative and your neighbour could be a child molester ,and in his view its just a human preferance and you would have no right to condem him ,he could be a muslim who should you reject mohammed ,he would have right to kill you as an infidel

  • @roxfoot Actually as an atheist none of that is true for me To me you a Muslim a Jew and even a child molester are all people, and I will treat them all the same, in a way where my aim is to understand. For understanding dispels ignorance, and ignorance is at the root of every problem.

  • @Indie9999

sorry now brother ,i got to get on ,but feel free to msg me anytime ,you are a least a civil atheist ,which is in my opinion a rare quality ,GOD bless

  • @roxfoot You know now i feel a little ashamed because I have probably contributed to peoples ideas that atheists can be uncivil in the past. I like a lot of people on the internet suffer from this very basic form of communication on places like youtube. What you see on these forums of me though is only a very thin slice of who I am. In reality we are very very similar, everybody is. The thing that stops us from seeing that is our own stubborn nature.

  • @Indie9999

the funny thing about that brother is again the original lie in the garden ,stubborness comes from pride and pride comes from the love of self ,people should realise that all things that are sinful comes from the love of self ,this considered ,would you still trust yourself to make the right choices as regards right and wrong ,when you allready know how decietful the human mind is ,this is why we as Christians look out and not in

  • @roxfoot “We can always be sure of one thing—that the messengers of discomfort and sacrifice will be stoned and pelted by those who wish to preserve at all costs their own contentment. This is not a lesson that is confined to the Testaments.” -Christopher Hitchens

  • @Indie9999

sounds good ,but so did the teachings of hitler ,and those words that got people caught up in the russian revolution ,both of which turned out to be a disaster ,we should know allready that men are liars ,and even honey coated words ,may well be the soft whisperings of a con man on a con game ,hitchens has a way with words ,but so did hitler ,ted budy ,and without an ulitimit authority we are a football game with no ref ,how long before it decends into chaos

  • @roxfoot Hitchens only argues people (ones who use those sugar-coated words you talk about) using facts and logic. Your post shows all the bad things about religion.

  • The Santa Claus character was based on a real person. The Jesus Christ character was not.

  • @CeeJayDK

That's just not historically accurate. Even if you don't believe in anything supernatural about Jesus, there's no reasonable doubt that he was a real person. Do the research; see for yourself.

  • @Uru81189 There is plenty of doubt that Jesus was not a real person. The only historical documents that speak of Jesus, speak not of him or his remarkable alleged doings but only confirms what we already knew - that a small cult of Judaism that called themselves Christians believed in a messiah called Jesus Christ.

Also the chapters in the bible from people that supposedly witnessed Jesus, were written by people born decades or centuries after he was said to have died.

    See watch?v=MvleOBYTrDE

  • @CeeJayDK i feel like you haven't read any material from that period other then the Bible... if you actually think the Bible is the only texts that talk about Jesus. lol

  • THIS. Is what people have to see in Christmas :)

    Thank you!

  • Very good video.

  • Many of your comments are the very reason my husband and I have opted not to lie to our daughter in the first place. Your comments are proof of the damage that is done by telling children that the fairytale characters are real while teaching them the truth of Christ. Why would they believe the truth about Christ when we lie to them about Santa? We teach them that lying is a sin, but we tell them a fairytale about a man with some similarities to Jesus and go to great lengths to cover the lie as

  • @AteroDominatus and God does has a lot to do with helping others, he is the reason for compassion, without there would be no love in the world. How could we just "evolve" into having love?

  • @AteroDominatus it is amazing how dumb humans are, how most of them can't understand there's a God

  • love this!

  • Who does the voice overs? Lovely video!

  • Great

  • love dis. fnk God for Jesus

  • lol

neither of them are real though

  • @Bizzer10 False. Jesus is real and he's living! He's coming again, to judge each and everyone of us according who ever accepted him in their hearts.

  • @madaboutorange cant you see that jesus and god are complex versions of santa clause for adults?

you are good and you get presents. you believe and obey, and you go to heaven.

you are bad and you get coal. you dont obey and you burn in hell with an evil goat man.

  • Santa comes by Christmas to give gifts then goes away...

JESUS came on Christmas and gave nothing less but his life and stayed forever

  • @paolala1 Can you prove the existence of Santa Claus in the Bible?

  • @borodungal may not be a santa in the bible, but he defenitly did exsist. st.nicholas.

  • This is great!

  • people who dislikes this video are stupid..

  • great Video

  • They are both make believe also. Additionally they are both used to scare kids into doing what's right with the idea that something will be with held from them if they are naughty. Although no one ever went to war because of Santa. I haven't heard of that many Santa cults either. Nor have I heard of anyone becoming killing their children because Santa convinced them to do it. So I guess they don't have that much in common after all.

  • @jasonpieters ... They're not both used to scare kids...hence the note in the video about the NAUGHTY and NICE distinction. The bottom line is that Jesus came and loved the world so that when we die, we have eternal life with God. You don't have to DO anything to earn that. There is substantial, credible, convicing evidence to validate the life of Jesus.

  • Ultimately, Santa is about me and any stuffs that we desperately want but Jesus is about something more, the grace we desperately need.

  • This christmas is not about the memory of Santa and his gifts, but what God did that He sent His son Jesus for us. This is all about Jesus. :D

  • propoganda bullshit," all energy is mearly energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one concoiusness expreriencing itself subjectivly, theres no such thing as death , life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourself"

santa delivered mushrooms, hints the red/white suite or the blue/gold/purple suit or maybe the golen/white suite.? all go with the magic mishroom color scheme... it blunt.. but odvious. can i get a thumb?

  • i dont get it, really seems at times satirical, but he never points out how crazy believing in either are, whats going on? i want more jesus bashing!!!

  • i think that if you dont like a video, you shouldnt even start watching it, or stop when you start to get offended. i find it disgusting that non Christians think that they can say anything they want online, but if a Christian decides to post something reflecting their religion, they are instantly bombarded with hatred. get a life people!

  • @raysgirl2010 ever heard of Atheism? no religion at all.. there is nothing that caused so many humans life such as religions and their desperate need of beliving in something thats unreal just because they are stupid and their life sucks

  • @AteroDominatus Yeah, Mother Theresa was a real idiot, wasn't she? Saving all those children at the risk of her own life just because a "phony" God wanted her to? Right

  • @Omnitrix12 haha had missed that you had written a comment too me, what the fuck has god to do with god peoplo doing something for others? besides how do you know your fairytales are true? I mean its not like you can prove it anyways its just rumours just like lady gagy is man! wooppa get realistic and go with the logic.

humans are so fucking stupid that its embarrasing we belive we are some choosen art of animals, by god? I mean common do you know how big space is? UFO FOR THE WIN / god

  • Swing and a miss. This movie grossly misunderstands the point of comparing jesus to santa. The idea is that all arguments for the existence of God can be applied to Santa.

  • @BlueSpirals Sure.. because a corpulent man living in the North Pole could conceviably be considered as ominpotent omnipresent ground of the moral order responsible for the origin of time and space itself.

  • @QuisSeperabit60 what a remarkable failure to detect the principle analogy of arguments for Santa's existence. I'll explain it to you then by referring you my video "Arguments for God and Santa". Arguments proposing the existence of god can be used to propose Santa's existence with exactly analogous terms.

  • @BlueSpirals Your video is full of sloppy rhetorical sophistry and inane attempts to be witty; but I guess you knew that already. Exactly analogous terms... Richard Dawkins has a lot to answer for...

  • @QuisSeperabit60 Yeah you keep saying that and refuse to produce actual examples. And your comment about Richard Dawkins owing you an explanation for something isn't even something I can respond to because it's so nonspecific.

You're very dismissive when confronted with demands for evidence, it seems. Therefore you must be a religious person!

  • Ok that was sorta lame ..a 10 second overview of scripture tells us more than this video ..It wasn't cute wasn't funny wasn't informative.I guess I really didn't get it ..Guess i'll just rate it as poor .Not sure 5 year olds get anything of value from it ..i've heard of trying to dumby down the gospel but what's the point here ? How can little children have faith to believe in a watered down, lukewarn drivel about who jesus is .iLet us proclaim him boldly from the housetop jesus is king of kings

  • brainwashing bullshit...

  • @johnybazukata Keep that to yourself. We have respect for you, and this video has nothing to do with you're beliefs.

  • Ahh fine... I just hate it when people try to brainwash other people like that...

  • @johnybazukata I agree that Churches brainwash people, that's why I don't go to Church. I read the Bible for myself, and interpret it for myself. I believe that each man is given the same rules, but each man is given his own set of boundaries.

  • Ofcourse,I never argued with that. Please, have your beliefs it is none of my concern. And the Bible is a good book (to SOME extent) and it teaches you about morality and good life lessons and stuff. But it should NOT be taken so seriously.I for one DO NOT believe in some devine being that controls our fate.I believe in myself and my life right now,you know - REALITY.And I'm pissed off at some people when they're acting so naive and well.. that's basically it.(sry for my bad english I'm a foreigner)

  • I thought this was going to be a joke. I expected him to talk about how Jesus keeps a list too, but except for coal if you are bad, you get consumed by eternal hellfire.

  • Teach your Kids about Santa and then about Christ .Once they have been told of Christ .you can figure that one out Santa Dying on the cross hmm !!

  • We saw this video in my youth group, it really makes me think about how much we bring in a fictional character into Christmas.

  • @iamleahmary

Jesus and Santa are both fictional characters.

  • @sputnikowns Actually, Jesus did live. Scholars just debate whether or not he was the Son of God. They all know he lived, they just differ over whether he came back from the grave or not.

If you're going to doubt that Jesus lived, then go ahead and doubt Joan of Arc, Alexander the Great, Galileo and Ceasar. After all, no one alive has seen them and all we have left of them are paintings, sculptures and their stories.

  • I love this video we got shown it in our SU! Remember that Christmas isn't just about spending money and recieving presents! It is about much more...The birth of our Saviour who only came into the world so he could die in our place on the cross....Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone and God Bless!

  • I still don't think it is a sin to spend Christmas in december. I love Christmas because it reminds me of my saviour. In my heart there is Jesus, that is what matters. Nothing else.

  • it is true that Jesus was probably born in october or something like that. But who cares? Christmas IS NOT a pagan holiday. In Christmas we celebrate Jesus' birthday. This holiday was put on the same day than some pagan holida was. But who cares. I don't think God cares when we celebrate Jesus' birthday. And isn't it much better to celebrate Christs birth than some pagan holiday in december? It's not that serious. God looks in our hearts. God bless.

  • people need to relize how true this video is!

  • This video is great! Some people just don't understand that St. Nicholas gave out gifts for a certain time period only once a year. Jesus gives the best gifts everyday. The most blessed gift is life.

  • Hi, I watched the video and it"s very good, but I didn't understand some parts, because English is not my official language. So, I'd like to ask you a favor, could you please add English subtitles to the video, then I could understand it better. Actually, a friend of mine saw this video first and asked me if I could translate it to our language. So, if it's possible for you to make us this favor, we'd be really greatfull.

Thank you very much and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. God bless you!!

  • Hi God bless you .. the video of Jesus and Santa is seen to be very good but I can not understand because he is in your language .. the English and therefore are not very good. It would be excellent for you to do one is Spanish ... If you manage to be great .. bye! God bless you!

  • This is awesome. where's the "like" button?

  • Actually, for years people tried to take Jesus "off" Christmas by replacing it with Santa, reindeers etc. Well, perhaps that's why some people use "Xmas" instead of "Christmas", (these are often thought as 'shortform') but what they didnt know is that, they actually crossed out the word "Christ". It's time to bring Christ back this season. Let Christmas be truely CHRISTmas again!

  • Jesus is AWESOME you people! You obviously haven't met him if you think he sucks. Santa WAS real, his name was St. Nick. he actually did give out gifts to the poor. Jesus is the way you guys. You'll never get anywhere in life without Him. I love this video.... it says a lot. :)

  • Jerem'iah 10:2-4

2 Thus saith YAH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

Jesus & Santa are for the heathen

  • It's true Santa did defend God by punching someone once (or so I've heard) but he's definitely not what Christmas is about.

    Jesus all the way :)

    Great video!

  • @mikeyboy86 You mean when Saint Nicolas slapped the heretic Arius in the face? Yeah :)

  • I'm telling you. Don't dare to reject the Lord. Once you've rejected Him, God will deal with you. I'm telling you now but I'm not threatening you. I'm just warning you.

  • i agree

  • Santa's not real!

  • Santa is real, but he likely didn't wear red. Santa made presents and passed them out on a sled and he did it yearly, but he died and didn't raise again.

Santa has been dead for centuries and so the Santa children are taught about isn't real, but Santa is real my friends.

Just like Obama, Osama, Clinton, and Bush are real. Few know them though and it gets even more difficult to gain information on them the longer they stay dead unless they are written about so thoroughly like Jesus.

  • It's okay. You're still one of the children or immature grown ups who still can't believe that Santa isn't real. It's okay, dude.

  • Santa is historical dude.

It's if I'm a believer in Rudolph or the other flying herd of eight you gotta worry.

  • saint nicolas or santa is just a myth...

  • The santa of Christmas is myth, but there was a St. Nicholaus who was generous. There is a difference of course. No flying reindeer.

  • St. Nicolas is actually a real person. FACT

  • actually you're mistaken, take out your history books. St. Nick was Nicholas of Myra who was from modern day Turkey. He died Dec 7, 346 AD.

  • HE IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.

Be bold enough to say Merry CHRISTmas instead of happy holidays, or happy seasons, or seasons greetings.

  • You can imagine my view, i believe i don't need salvation. Although jesus did give people a point to life thousands of years ago, before we could explain the earth's crea
