At 7:42 when you ran INTO the side of it.. yes.. that was bad. The Farragut has rather ample nacelles.. to borrow a phrase.. and in the TOS show.. shooting at the Doomsday machine really did not do any thing.. its body armor was too thick for phasers.. remember? You are lucky this Doomsday machine seems to be a bit smaller and a lot weaker.. and also not in the habit of shooting back at you very much. Still a very interesting video to watch - thank you!

i remember the doomesday series i rememebered when i played start trek universe ot shattern universe it showed a klingong base and the uss excelsior jmped in and i had 2 fly as a little ship..... but shattern universe is old and i still got it it was my first star trrek game :)

@saml760 I was gonna comment on the novel - wasn't that the MK2 as this one was just a trial (prototype) as I imagined the one in the novel to be alot bigger and stronger - The end gave a new meaning to warp 10.

Yup, in TOS the phasers didn't do a thing.

They had to feed it an exploding starship.

If I remember correctly, even the tiny shuttlecraft damaged it slightly when eaten. Would be cool if Legacy could do that.

The remastering makes the nacelle caps mostly transparent with a slight orange glow. You can see the blue green purple and yellow lights flashing.

From 2:40 to 3:13 I have NEVER seen that much phaser fire for so long against ANY vessel its cool also the torpedoes from the alternate reality ships look like QUANTUM instead of photon torpedoes what happened did the producers take the idea from the sov? 0.o

If you look at it like that, you're correct.. but, I wanted to give it a little bit of a TOS idea, where the Constellation was destroyed, so I destroyed a Connie.

The outer shell of the Doomsday machine is solid neutronium. The Enterprise's weapons are useless against it. I wanted to see it suck in a ship and the ship self destruct killing the machine.

My goodness...the game's version of the TOS Constitution-variant ship is horrible! Wrong font for the hull lettering, glowing warp nacelles, and inaccurate sound effects? Disgusting...

I was gone for a while, but I am back now. The TOS Constitution hull font is my fault, I've made that texture myself, because my registries didn't show up (They do now), glowing warp nacelles... can't do anything about that, and I've edited the photon sound effects! :)

Have you edited the photon sound effects since you made this video? Because in the video they still sound like TNG torpedoes. The phasers also don't sound right, same with all the computer sound effects.

Have you also fixed the hull registry lettering font? Did the ship that came with the game have the right stuff?

In most of my newer videos, I placed the TOS Photon sound in, I don't have the phaser sound. The hull registry was my fault, I've fixed it now, the game has the right font.
