I can see not voting for Democrats, but I can't in most instances come up with a reason for voting for Republicans. With very few exceptions the Republican Party is anti-gay, they even have an anti-gay plank in their platform.

I have several Gay friends that support Fox News and Republicans. They voted for McCain and Palin, even though these 2 support any level of Civil Rights for American Gays. I cannot understand why and how any Gay person can support any political figure that wants to deny us our right to work, to have a roof over our heads, to support a family, to have insurance, to travel freely, etc.
