  • Great video but I think you need a blacker helmet

  • Good video. Mike Perrone's prop is the best I've used and forces you to have good technique. Pro bar all the way. I mark the fork and adz at the 3/4 door jam depth for myself and to show students how deep to set the tool. A mark can also be made to show the crotch of the fork. I also file the back of the fork down to create a striking surface for confined spaces. Finally I file grooves into the axe so that it marries better with halligan. Thank you for another informative video.

  • Nice going. I work in Oakland Ca and this we use the pro bar and composite handle 8 pound flat head. Great combination

  • This video begins with a basic review of of the "Irons" (Halligan Bar and Striking Tool) and than transitions to an introduction of a Forcible Entry training door designed and created by Mike Perrone of the FDNY (Fire Department of New York).......

  • In my opinion this is the best commercially made forcible entry prop on the market today - We have one at the College I teach for and will soon be purchasing one for my career FD as well. For more information on Mike's prop check out his Web Site at: FirehouseInnovations. com
