  • Colin: Figures, they almost never catch me on film, the one time they do, I look like an idiot.

  • Incredible!!!

  • En Hail to the Tief la parte de "the raindrops" explota, la batería es terrible. La verdad que me desilusiona bastante que el baterista sea tan madre en vivo. Colin la rompe loco, la salva siempre Thom poniendole onda.

  • best Radiohead album?

Hail to the Thief in my opinion

  • That bassline...

  • POWERFUL PERFORMANCE!!

  • I don't know why but the song lost its punch on the transition at 3:02 Maybe it's the piano... Love it :D

  • @dbug18

I agree, the studio version its a build up and just explodes there, here it feels like it got softer. I was disappointed, but then Thom's dance softened the blow.

  • amazing song!!

  • Piano, I love it :3 I wish there were more bands with a Piano like Radiohead and Muse and Coldplay :D that would be so freakin awesome

  • poor philip, not allowed to drum..

  • I feel like I just walked into the jaws of Heaven

  • q : what makes this video amazing?. a : Colin Greenwood

  • @firesideview haha that was my exact thought when I uploaded this years ago. I'm glad other people enjoyed him in this video too :)

  • at first i thought it was, "the rimjobs the rimjobs"

  • @firesideview I thought it was Power Rangers, Power Rangers, Power Rangers......

  • @firesideview i thought it was double raindrops double raindrop!

  • 1:27 god i love him :)

  • muito lokoooo!!!!

  • 2:20 is phil on backing vocals on this one?

  • :'D

  • thanks for all the views of this amazing band, it's much appreciated :)

  • this song is about nuclear warfare. and the black rain after the nuke

  • first time i see thom take the mic on the 21 century. When the 21 century started he stoped taking the mics in his hands!!! nice job radiohead!

  • As always, the raindrops part is shit live. I'm yet to find one which matches the studio version which is like a 97% song

  • @C3ment yeah but you listenin to it on youtube home computer mate, try fuck off big stadium speakers then get back to me

  • Colin's just there chillin' and feelin' the music.

Power Rangers! Power Rangers! Power Rangers! Power Rangers! Power Rangers! Power Rangers! Power Rangers!

  • @JDizzle5978 That is exactly what i listen too LOL

  • Great action.

  • Thom should be on Dancing with the Stars.

  • I like this rendition of the song better than the Glastonbury festival one. the piano sounds better, in my opinion.

  • haha oh i love how colin looks so lost in the songs feeling, singing along and everything

  • im in love with thoms smile ok im just in love with him in general

  • amazing amazing!! best best!!! =)

  • this song reminds me of a church service.

    "SIT DOWN, STAND UP"

  • 3:02 that was amazing

  • how can you say this is "the worst Radiohead song"? if you pay attention to the lyrics you can find a lot of depth... this group doesn't make their music minimal sometimes for no reason.

anyway, I really like this live version because (not only is it cd quality, as all of their performances) but the "Raindrops" break being more low key than the recorded version makes the song even creepier.

  • nope, that doesnt even count as personal opinion , its too stupid

  • @balisong17 Wow, you're really out of touch, friend. Sit Down Stand Up is a great song.

  • limado el video muy limado el cantante

    esta muy bueno el tema,

    Sit down, stand up

Walk into the jaws of hell (sit down, stand up)

    Anytime (sit down)

    Anytime (stand up)

  • Sit down, stand up

    Sit down, stand up

We can wipe you out anytime (sit down, stand up)

We can wipe you out (sit down, stand up)

    Anytime

    Anytime

    Stand up, sit down

    The rain drops (repeated)

  • what's this song about??

  • the government.... i don't really know, might just be a load of phrases picked out of a top hat

  • is about the powerful Organization that can wipe you out or any nation that goes again the U.N. is the most power mob in the world.

is like saying do what we tell or be wiped sit down stand up sitdown stand up.and if don do so your walking into the jaws of hell.that means war coming your way lol..the U.N. is the new world order be careful what you do or say i know their watching me.they waiting for me to do something radical lol I wont

  • This song gives me an orgasm every time.

  • there's something about the piano thoms playing here that I really love. I like the sound of it.

  • ya casi no tocan esa en vivo :(

  • spass dance

Just move to the music like you want to

    :D

  • Jonny's the sound FX technician. haha

  • The transition into the raindrops part... I dunno. I've always imagined it being a bit more... Hard. But it's still good anyway.

  • that would be cool, the raindrops like in a harder way

  • yeah, like idioteque for example, they play that one a lot harder live than the record version.

  • It sounds like one of the background sounds stopped, like not the piano

  • I agree, I always feel as if a couple of symbal crashes would work and maybe some distorted guitar chords. Still a great song though

  • haha this must be one of Colin's favorite songs .

    for me. my favorite

    thats a fuckin awesome bassline

    Go Colin Go!!!

  • Radiohead is the shit!

  • am i the only one who finds thom's dancing awfully adorable? lol

  • no you're not...love it too

  • my boyfriend dances like that

  • quality!!!

  • COLIN why is he like the biggest funbubble that's always smiling yet overlooked? I loved seeing him in this vid

now all we need is more phil. but he's hard to see with that set in the way :)

  • oh my god did I saw Phil singing??? I had no idea!!!

  • Sa cantare e suonare anche la chitarra...

  • oh yeah, but i thought he just played guitar and vocals when he performed alone...never heard him singing with radiohead before

  • phil is the backup vocalist

  • hmmmn....not usually that i know, ed is the one who makes most backup vocals

  • I need to hear Colin singing goddamnit!! He is always singing Thom´s "cool parts", but no one gives him a microphone :(

  • @Computerdisplay you want to hear Colin? now you can: /watch?v=Tkss8MEjaB0 it's a Radiohead song called "Peases" and it's a pretty cool song.

  • Comment removed

  • @09livvy09 that song is actually from a band called My Vitriol...

  • @Computerdisplay ohh okay. so is it actually Radiohead, but just a cover? it's kind of hard to tell.

  • @09livvy09 no, its not even Radiohead...the song is Pieces by My Vitriol

  • @09livvy09 it's not the same as the My Vitriol version. so it could be a cover. i don't know really..

  • shpakado....

  • so fucking de puta madre!

  • ha makes me think of church

  • Haunting..............

    That piano indeed.

  • They need to have Jonny shredding something out for the climax part, it's a bit soft live

  • couldn't agree more

  • damn, now i'm disappointed... the conclusion just disappeared. They worked up that crescendo to end it in nothing

  • Agreed, the album version's climax is more defined.

    It's still great though! (:

  • this song scares me. =(

  • Probably my favorite live radiohead performance. What is better 2:00? or the baseline after 3:03? can't decide!

  • lol bassline*

  • this song makes me cry

    but in a happy way!

  • i love the piano part at the beginning. those chords are so damn sad and yet beautiful

  • its amazing live, brilliant!

  • Greatest band on earth. Period.

  • AMEN brother!! Preach it!!

  • This song is about the government and the military.

"Walk into the jaws of hell, anytime."

Telling their own to do whatever they say.

    "Sit down, stand up."

    Puppets on strings.

"We can wipe you out, anytime."

    Self-explanatory.

  • This song is about religion and theology.

"Walk into the jaws of hell, anytime."

Telling their own to do whatever they say.

    "Sit down, stand up."

    Puppets on strings.

"We can wipe you out, anytime."

  • this song is the closes i think you can come to auditory orgasm :P

    what a build up

  • Thom's voice is particularly incredible from 1:33 to 2:09. However, I still think the laser sound effects at the end take away from this song.

  • incredible move at 3:02

is the crowd dead?? or are they in stupor?

great preformance, as always, but the crowd...

  • I didn't know Heston Blumenthal was Radiohead's drummer. ;)

  • so much better than anything from the new album
