xbox 360 patch/update removal!!

I dont have a hard drive. Just inturnal mu. I delete cash and still the game wont let me play unless cash patch is installed. Any clues?

i cleared my system cache just to do this damn glitch, now i cant play the game. everytime i go to the main menu and hit the continue button, it loads for like 10 seconds and freezes. ive restarted my 360 like 8 times now. i cant load any of my fucking saves....

Also, this video is 3 years old, and is extremely obsolete. You can just simply go to memory, select your storage device, and press Y and go to clear system cache, or memory cache or whatever it says.

the trick is to not be on xbox live while playing it, Im not sure if you just sign out of xbox live or sign in as a guest, but if you're on xbox live it'll update it for you again and again.

Restart the Xbox 360 WITHOUT oblivion disc inside it, then sign in to xbox live, then put the oblivion disc inside, play it and it will ask for update. Accept, and vuala. If it doesn't, maybe Xbox Live is having problems or it's already updated or something not good is happening.

It did remove the patches but isnt helping w/ fable 2 pub games. everytime I try to play the pub games it only lets me play a trial game and says I have to "unlock the full game" even though I had already downloaded the full game like right after it was first available. Any thoughts? Just trying to do it until I get the Highrollers Coat.

ANOTHER NOTE: Dont do this trick if u want to do Oblivion glitches and you have a lot of downloadable content. i have shivering isles, tomes, wizards tower, thieves den, deepscorn hollow, and knights of the nine and when i took the patches off, it screwed up my main character. when i put it back on it took 10 minuets to get all patches back. and its not cause my internet sucks. there were just a lot of patches.

NOTE: this trick helps if you have the problem where every time you put in a game, even if u just played it, it gives you an update. it will stop meaningless updates from happening for a while. i just used this trick for that exact reason

I just did this today Monday, 10-6-08. It took me a few mins to get it right but once I did then bam it worked like a champ. Right now Im up to 700k gold so that rocks. Now I can upgrade all the add on houses I got like the mage, thieves cave, vampire underwater area, and the castle, thank you for that. It did not work until I got rid of the patches.

To answer everyone's questions. Basically, it will just remove the updates that Microsoft upload to XBL. It won't remove any downloaded content, since it's not an update. Rest assured, if you want your update back, start whatever game while signed on Xbox Live.

Well you can get achievements for your live gamertag, in fact, some games have achievements which can only be obtained through XBL, like Gears of War, or Rainbow Six Vegas. You can choose to get them or not, they don't really affect you, they just show how familiar you are with a particular game.
