I think it was Maya. But obviously OLD fucking Maya. Back before Autodesk bought Alias.
From what I hear, it wasn't really a physics simulation, but a bunch of displacement maps... idk.
You could probably get better results from fucking around with simulation though.

i agree for the time it was bad ass. but yea the cartoon had alot more killing of inossent people and curseing and drug and alcohol abuse. hey needed more bad things in the movie. make it more evil and dark
