@hombrerelents Try telling Bonnie Langford that! Makes you wonder where William Hague went wrong. The man with the child in his eyes, especially Libyan kids targetted with NATO bombs. They never had a chance to grow up, unlike us. Hague should have been an abortion!

BTW, anyone who loves the R-Type series should definitely check out R-Type Delta on the PS1. IMO it is the best R-Type of the lot, with a truly awesome soundtrack!
Without the power-ups you're knackered on every level. You need to be able to get to the end bosses with some lead in your pencil. That level 3 guy has got some length on him!
Spiney it seems to me that you must be the R-Type Shaolin gran master to be waltzing through this game as easily as you are. Back in the day I got my arse kicked in this game.
What you don't see is all the failed attempts. That's the easy part done. It just gets ridiculously hard after this. It's so addictive that it keeps you playing. Even if you get pissed off and leave it for a day!

It's a mixture of luck, memory and a good weapon. Level 4 was driving me insane! Level 5! Surely not! How much harder can this game get?
