    haha owned nigger

  • this game looks fun

  • @simontia1234

Ill know in 20 minutes... lol

  • the car can dive under the road at 0:54 ...=)

  • whoa, w8 u made this?

  • omg you made that?! W O W!!!! i got one question... how the hell did you make that?!

  • was ist dass für ein spiel??????????????

  • @zentrix28667866

  • do you know how to make tracks for nfs because nfs tracks are so heavy if we play without graphic card.

  • i got the demo snippit thing, but i need platinum membership to play it =( should i learn the language and THEN get the membership, or get it and learn with it?

  • lol he obviously didn't make it...

  • Way to many Post Processing effects... while looking cool, it subtracts from the realism of the game (depends on how you want it to be)

  • look at the car at 1:01

  • DANG bro awesome game greate graphics!

  • how is that basic ? holy shit its so awsome

  • wow

    verry nice game!

    5*

  • WOW! Great game! Camera, garphic, SHADOWS!!

    Minimal system requiments?

  • oh this game was created by a german uni student if i remember correctly, and he had less then a year to program it all by himself. it was an online game programing competition

    pretty swavv

  • i will correct myself now. toke him 3 months. wow, big difference

  • you are a nice driver

  • I don't think that is what he call "simple" xD

  • It's not simple at all !!! =P =P

  • make some jumps!!!!

  • Could someone explain to me a good example of a easy programming? Like a programming for beginners. My unc made a deal wit me saying if i make a simple program, he would buy me a MAC BOOK PRO LITE!!!!! SO please someone help me out. Send a message as soon as possible, send a vid too if you could.

  • buy MIcrosoft Training Kit Frame work 2.0

Study the guides, downlowad a developed program, study the codes and say him you made that! Or study, study study, develop and then show him!

  • Visual Basic 2008 is easy. Look around youtube for tutorials. You can code programmes in minutes.

  • true but ur very limited

  • Very true. Im sticking with xna and darkbasic for games.

  • This looks a lot like C++

i like they style of the game

    nice textures and models

  • It was made in XNA and C#, not C++.

  • cool!

  • This is quite nice, how exactly did you do the road collision? was it simply a triangle test, or did you use planes in fixed locations/areas?

I've been experimenting with terrain collision detection recently, don't have any videos up yet

  • Your simply amazing! Do you do all of this by yourself?

  • It's an example of programming with XNA.... it's free.

  • duh dumbass, im asking if he made it because someone had to, god your a dousche

  • 0:54 you went under the road but still amazing

  • Dude.....this KICKS ASS!

  • Love the elevated road (Stunt Car Racer?), love the windmills (I'm seriously going to rip that off).

  • if u acuall made this show me the code in a video response!

  • no one is so retarded to show you any code

    lolz

  • After the "LOOP"/"Spin" , you got sunk for a while...

  • Hah.. this was shown on T.V. :D

  • Ya know? Dat track'll give some ppl headaches.

  • SICK make this for a pc and make it like gta sa please and have multi player built in. PLZ and PLZ make ti free andopen source tht would be such a fun game

  • i knew it noob.....i want a help-tutorial for xna plz help...tnx

  • Idiot, XNA is made by microsoft.

  • lol

  • fucking retard.

  • nub

  • lool

  • You didn't make this. It's a project demo file!

  • AWESOME!! IF YOU MADE IT!! Then it is coolsome anyways really actually wel bye

  • this is great the only thing bad i noticed was that the car went throught the road for a second

  • if u watch from 0:54 to 0:56 he has a miss celculation other then that its good

  • wheres the fucking code there shit

  • This is a pretty cool video. Are you going to go into the video game programming industry?

The game ran smoothly and gave you a good sense of speed on the track.

    WaytoGo!

    This is pretty cool.

    4 stars

  • i can drift at games like those

  • It's "XNA Racing Game"

  • i think this game is track mania because i have somth like this not so different

  • yeah this was definetely not a simple game, and is as good as some racing games in 04' - 05'. Obviously you did not make this..

  • im 16 and wanna make videogames for a living but i know nothing about how to program, does anyone know about any helpful books that would help someone who knows absolutely nothing? PLEASE REPLY

  • I would suggest first learning a simple language like batch (if you use windows that is) or javascript. Then, you might consider using a For Dummies book or something from courseptr. com (that's how I learned C++ [still a n00b at it]). Some of the tutorial videos on here are okay too.

  • i'm determined to learn c++ but i just needed to know where to start Thank you so much :)

  • its best if you start out like that also, batch is good to to get your brain started be fore stuff like c++ or c#

  • fuck c#

  • What's wrong with C#? It's a completely new language of managed code, it's easy to use and powerful.

  • java is best, 40,000,000 different keywords, thats a hell of a lot to do with it

  • More != Better

  • whats the point of learning it if it will take to long and you may never master all of it.

  • OKay so whats the point in listening to music if you will never be in a band? We dont do what we do to be masters, we do it cuzz we like to. I personally use programming as my web browser and for game making.

  • this game was made in C# big guy....

  • go to college and learn video game design.

  • yeah but what should i do to better preepare myself for college.

  • Comment removed

  • alright fine you win, how did you make 3-d games with vb and how is it possible?

  • lmfao 3d with vb. dats more like java and c++ shit.

  • yeah i prefer open gl and direct X better than vb with that subject

  • lol i need to learn open gl and direct x lol. right now im learning vb lol ima try to also learn html, css, php, sql,c++,delphi, direct x,and open gl lol. computers r my fall back football is my dream lol

  • yeah, football is the best thing you will experiencein high school. your team will say stuff like wow number 72 on there team is huge, and you cant se him over all the people, next thing you know it, in the 3rd quarter you right tackle against him.

  • lol

  • This isn't simple and I can guarentee you didn't make it.

  • He didnt make this >.>

  • That's better than some commercial driving games. Well done!!!

  • SIMPLE?! This not simple this teh awesome!

  • NFS is better..=}

  • Well no shit its made by like 70 skilled programmers lol.

  • I was waiting for the Blue Screen of Death to show up when this movie was running. :P

  • Guys seriusly, that cannot be a game madee using Visual basic.... I mean how the hell can you make something like that using VB?????????????

  • ??? Nobody said it was. It was made with C#/XNA

  • True, Visual Basic alone can not create a game like this, but with the help of DirectX, and a gaming engine, it is possible.

Don't believe me, then head on over to the site planet source code, and check out the games that are written in Visual Basic (with the help of game engines and DirectX, of course) but the language that pieced it together was Visual Basic.

  • Aha....Well that does make sense, so is that what like big companies like EA use?

They use pre-made game engines and other programs and then use programs like VB to put it all together?

  • Not sure if you are being sarcastic, but to answer the question in case you are not. I'm not sure if they make there own game engine or have a separate division or company to outsource the game engine to. It takes different skills to produce a game that we see today, so the development work is broken up into different areas.

  • You have your people that specialize in mathematics and physics so they work on artificial intelligence stuff, then the artists that draws the pretty pictures, the animators, the technology people that use the video cameras and other equipment for producing the videos that we see in the games.

  • Then you have a division or company that has a team of hardware and software engineers that specializes in developing a game engine that works with most of the hardware and software (drivers) that are out. Then you have the application developers. I'm not a game programmer, but that is a basic breakdown of the whole project management of game development.

  • I am not sure what programming language small-medium-large companies or corporations use, but a lot of the PC video games that I play sometimes crashes and actually shows the try...catch or exception message box. When I click on details, it shows Visual C++. But I don't know what the XBox, Xbox 360, Player Station 3, or Wii is written in.

  • Thank you so much! So a single person cant really create something as good as the game shown in the video, it would just take too much to specialize in and also it would cost a lot... is that right?

  • yeah, i mean he would have to create textures, models, programming, have knoledge in math/physics, design game and create interface. That's for a simple 3D game.

  • Nice driving,

    but the 2 crashes

    crushed it

there was a glitch on 54-55

  • wow it actually gives you the feeling that you are going super fast just from watching.

  • wow..cool game!..the graphics rocks!

  • HOw long do u gyz think he took to make this racing game? I'm curious

  • Microsoft hired him to make a sorta demo for XNA, this was under a months worth of work. Very impressive.

  • For under a month, it's really impressive. thx for the info. Do you think he used C++ programming language? or sumthing else?

  • C# actually, thats the program that XNA uses to program its games.

  • ohh ic..thx for the info =p

  • bit of a late reply but hey u might come back to check. Yeh like ledzep said its C# and XNA is the framework, basically it handles the 'plumbing' behind the games so you can focus on the game rather than getting it to work.

  • ohh thank you =p

  • i saw a little glitch there (0:54) but still I think your work in every respect is unbelievable, keep this up, love to see your future works.

  • Yeah, I saw that. There is only one thing for me to say to make it better. As I am trying to make games myself, not succeeding right now, I like to find thing to make games better. The only thing is, when you went into the circle, you slowed down going up, but stayed the same speed going down, you need to make the car accelerate going down.

  • Other than that, good job.

  • This game is really cool, and its graphics are badass.

  • this is a badass game dude

  • nice =D
