@matancool54 Justine is a crazy bitch who trapped 3 of her "lovers" under her estate and tortured them. Alois wants to kill her bc he thinks thats the only way they can be together, Basile wants to kill her for revenge and Malo went insane from all the torture. Justine blinded them, beleving that her beauty was "blinding" she basically puts herself threw this whole sanerio of a survival game for herself in her own basement

All though you are a great player i find it a little bit frustrating that you are just skipping in the "notes" and "letters" since they play a big role in the story.

I find both the game AND it's story interesting and that's why i would have loved it, if you could at least have giving us a little chance of reading them. :)

@scrapmetaljack Puzzle games always take longer because you're trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle, you're also running around exploring but slowly because you're scared incase you run into something. However this guy knows exactly what he's doing, and that's a good thing, for a walkthrough. The game would last longer then 30 minutes if you're playing it :3

Oh man, when I did that last water chamber I closed the door and opened the exit and ran in one shot. I turned around to close the door behind me and the suitor broke through the door behind me immediately. He was on my ass all the way out. Easily the hardest part of the entire Amnesia experience.

@superpopewinz That is how you save him. "Saving" in this game really just means "Not killing." Except in the case of the third fellow. You do have to save him by shutting the door, or else Malo will murder him.

i found a developer error :D

Amnesia the dark descent is in 1839 and Justine must be after 1887 because the phonograph was invented in 1887. and since daniel sent a letter to justines father in 1839 and he was probably killed before that because the letter was unopened, and justine killed him when she was 12 years. that makes justine aleast 60 years old and that can't be truth :D

@nachodc Justine is a rumoured sociopath. Meaning she doesn't really care about human feelings or lives. Her father tested on her when she was a child, so she's doing the same to herself. It's all she's ever known.

I downloaded Amnesia: The Dark Decent off Steam and I cant access or find the DLC Amnesia: Justine. Steam said that the DLC would be free and it would be available the next time Steam has an Update but i cant Update my Steam because its already Updated. @Ro1ism Oh no, she's not hanging there. She only compares herself with the hanged man, if you can remember her dairy notes "Today I was the ... man", that's the same. Exactly in what way she associate herself with the hanged man, I cannot answer, there could be alot of different hints in her words. But I'd say Justine IS a game where you really have to dig deep, to find out the background story and it is hard to understand fully.

@LordAragon626 Justine drugged herself and went downstairs to explore her cellar, where she's been putting up all these clues for herself, only for the fun and exercise, to see whether she's getting more sane or not (killing the priest, the doctor or the police man). So the monsters would be hers too. When close to the ending the drug stops working and she's completely ecstatic from this trip, revealing she does it often and she goes back to her usual life. Hope it helped :)

@RaduIc3Man Actually, I think the inspector died in your walkthrough. If you saved all three people, in the end Justine asks Clarice to mail a letter for her to tell someone that she's "still alive". This does not happen in this video.

@demoman2262 Free DLC. When you launch the game from Steam, you will have a small window to change graphic/audio options. In the bottom right, there is a "Justine" button. Click it! This is currently only available for people who got Amnesia through Steam though AFAIK.
