malkins good but ovechkin is better. better shot, better speed, better on the powerplay, better hitter and he pumps up his team and malkin has like 4 times more assists then he has goals. the nhl doesnt need another play maker. ovechkin can score and hit. crosby is a pussy

Don't get me wrong. I love the way Ovechkin plays. He has the work ethic of a winger on the grinder line and he is a fantastic passer together with his heavy shots. I also notice that he makes very clean honest hits. He doesn't use elbow or jump when he hits. He mostly just use his exceptional speed and weight on people.

No I'm telling you. Malkin is a better player. Malkin is always on a speed that enables him to regain many pucks. Malkin works both ends of the ice and dominates most of his shifts. He is put in a second line in a badass team AND STILL dominate league with points.
