who would he referre our men cowards....they are doing it to protect our country...the canadian armed forces have more to worry about then what some punk ass radio d.j has to say about them. if he only knew what the soliders go through when they are over there. and any scanadian soldier i have ever met is definalty not a fucking coward.

Hi ellen8503, I'm not sure what would make him say such a remark. It's a deep day of reverence and as far as I'm concerned he spat in the face of soldiers everywhere. Rome's show is picked up here in Vancouver from 9 am to noon. Team1040 host brought it to the listeners attention. He spoke about it for a few minutes and promise that Ball spoke about it though I can personally say I didn't hear it. There's no way Ball is lying otherwise he would be guilty of slander.

I was a big fan of Rome before I joined the CF last year, and haven't really listened since then.

He's pro-Canada, and at least last I heard was Pro-Soldiers.

However that could have changed, do you have some kind of link or something so I can hear for myself what he said? I tried google but didn't get anything.

My father listens to him everyday and informed me that he didn't remember Rome saying anything of the sort.

I'm not going to angrily email him until I hear for myself.

Hi Vd131, I'm really sorry but there isn't a link that I know of that lets you listen to the remark. I personally didn't hear the remark myself but local host Rick Ball who's show runs after Rome's spoke about it for a few minutes. To say the least, Ball was disappointed. I promise you that I'm not making any of this up and wish I had something more substantial to present to you. Thanks for joining and take care of yourself if you have to go abroad!
