The orchestra done an amasing job indeed. The female singers voice is wah wah, truly exceptional and full of emotion. Singing is truly based on emotion and a sweet voice is what channels that emotion. Great stuff!

No doubt in the first song, the feamalr singer performed better than the Sunu Nigham. But Sonu also rendered quite well. The western orchestra palyed a fine role, with technique, especially the supporting part of "COUNTERS". In the 2nd song, Sonu Nigham could captures the exact impression, like Rafi Sahib and on certain notes of the melody, he could not maintain the EXACT control. How ever, a fine productio. I agree that no one can come close to rafi saab, but sonu nigam is the closest. The fact is that he is the best singer in the country and he sings rafi's songs as close as anyone can to perfection.

vinod misra is an ass- if u see -singers have mimiced someone to come to bollywood and even in reality shows people try and sing like sonu or other artists, its nothing different what sonu does..

brother faraz, u are right sonu comes the closest among popular singers but u have to jog back and check up some dudes who tried their hand at singing rafi saheb songs and u will find that mohd aziz, vipin sachdev and vinod rathod have sung the song really as good or better then sonu sometimes sonu get a sense of urgency in the number which is bad for some listeners. i love sonu but its bad sometimes

With all due respect to all Sonu Nigham fans, he made his living by singing Mohammad Rafi's songs and does not have a single hit of his own to his credit. Vinod Mishra in his book "Meri Awaaz Suno" rightfully insinuate both Sone and his father Anam Nigham as "Kafan Chors". I have no problem if these singers sing their own songs. I take intense exeption to even the title "Rafi Resurected", as if this fellow comes even close to the gifted talents of Mohammad Rafi.
