  • All of the clips in the montage are of classic events in the show, with the exception of Shannon and Selina standing on the beach. I like to think they were included because they are probably the best and most memorable teen friendship in the show's history.

  • markjl2# if only we could go back and be young again...

  • Why are they playing Bobby's theme tune for Sally's speech?

  • @Messylin because it is a reference to the early years and this episode is celebrating 4000 episodes. Bobby's Theme is the most popular piece of music from the show over the years so they brought it back for this special episode.

  • is that Sophie at 2:47 ?

  • @05jadey it sure is

  • I recognize so many faces here, that guy that played shane popped up in neighbors recently. So many of these actors were in prisoner cell block H as well.

  • I miss Sally, home and away just hasn't been the same since she left

  • so, you found my rape dungeon...ya cunt

  • This always upsets me when I watch it!!!

  • suck my hairy juice box i love the way she smiles and alf is so hawt i cant wait to spoon wih him ill bite your face you cunt

  • itz funny how everyone appears to be related to alf somehow, he always has long lost relatives.

  • @rhiannon650

Yeah, Bobby was the first of a long line of them, although . Then great nephew Seb turned up, followed by Grandchildren Ric and Martha and the revelation Colleen is his half-sister, which makes Lance his nephew!

  • Stone the flamin' crows Alf's a flamin' legend

  • is this really the characters birthday in real life? because the emotions in this clips feel so real

  • cheers cunts haha

  • I would love to be able to take this seriously, but all I can picture is the rape dungeon!

  • @FatGuitar so, ya found his rape dungeon, yeh cunt...

  • Aghhh I am being electrocuted. Help me you useless gallah cunts.

  • morag looks like pauline hanson

  • "Stone the flaming crows"

  • flamin' mongrel

  • FLATHEAD

  • As much as i like Debra Pippa.

I whould of like to see Vanessa return as Pippa for once.

  • With the comments you have made you are staggeringly disparaging. Now jog on.

  • Again, staggeringly humourless. Now jog on

  • Wow, you really are quite staggeringly disparaging.

  • I would certainly be joking if i thought Home and Away was better now than its prime years. Maybe you misread my comment. I said that I didn't think many would argue that Home and Away now is better than in its prime years!

  • Are you completely retarded? 'I don't think many would argue that Home and Away now is better than in it's prime years' means you think most people would agree that the show is better now. Why not just sort out you syntax and say 'Most people would agree that Home and Away was better in its prime years than it is now'? Does the term 'gramatically correct' mean nothing to you? Jesus H. Christ

  • chill out lol to the chris guy about the money isnt everything i agree but surely the ratings cant be as good as they have been i mean what will they do for the 5000 episode i personally hope they end the show

  • Ratings have remained steady, actually. And can I say that if you 'personally hope they end the show', I do not consider you to be a fan. You WERE a fan, past tense.

Personally, I think the show is still great, and a lot better recently than it has been since the 90s. It continues to win Logies in Australia and it could be argued that crap shows don't win awards, no?

  • No I'm afraid it is you that is the retarded one. The statement " I do not think that many would argue that H and A currently is better than in its prime years" is gramatically correct. You have changed my statement BUT BOTH HAVE THE SAME MEANING! Home and Away has had many prime years, especially at the start of its run in the late 80s and early 90s. I don't think many would argue that it is now better than those prime years! Sorry Jesus H. Christ.

  • Firstly, my 'Jesus H. Christ' was an exclamation of surprise, not a signature. But on to even more trivial matters...

I must rephrase what I said to you. Both statements may have the same meaning, however one i.e. yours is so ludicrously, grammatically ambiguous as to be confusing - e.g. the confusion stated by tgvideo65

  • Yes clearly my statement can be confusing so I will state it again more clearly for those who get confused: "I don't think many would argue that Home and Away now (as in the present) is better than it was in its prime years (which are regarded as anytime between 1990 and 2007, depending on your own opinion)". Ofcourse some of the years between 1990 and 2007 may not be prime years. It is all a matter of opinion. I hope we are now clear. I will make further comments if this is not the case.

  • Wow, you really are quite staggeringly humourless

  • I havent seen this in ten years. Im trying to look for some clips. theres a clip where a woman on the beach drinks from a can after a bee/wasp went in it and she saw her life flashed before her. another clips are of this teen dating this guy who was a naturist and tourt her this stress release, where you rub from your chess to down you left hand. Anyone remember these frim about 11 years ago. please let me know if they are on here.

  • I don't think many would argue that Home and Away now is better than in its prime years.

  • i think many people would agree that this is the stupidest show in the world, for people who dont have enough drama in their lives summer bay is the most dangerous town in the world

  • you think home and away now is better thn it was before are you joking?

  • I don't think they were acting there were they? I had stop watching H&A when it moved to C5 cos we couldnt get it at the time. I've never seen it since :(

  • yes unfortunately we have to go forward and watch a lot of crap in the future

  • This is true, though in my opinion, the show has been better than ever since 2008

  • sorry but its shit now the cast is awful and the episodes are boring they were make more money buy finishing at 5000 and releasing all the old series

  • Not everything is about money

  • also i'd like to say when would the prime years have been becuase i havent watched it for all 21 years i just thought from 2000 - 2007 they had an amazing cast and really good storys they show alot of that in this video of memory's with all the kane stuff and the sarah lewis stuff now it seems plain to me

  • Do you know, the hilarious thing is I actually disagree completely. I think 2000 - 2007 was the worst period in the show's history, so many awful characters, actors and storylines, the exception being Kane & Kirsty, that was a really interesting, original storyline. I would say the 'prime years' were probably 1993 - 2000. After the arrival of The Sutherlands I feel the show went downhill and became cheesy and poor. But it has become more gritty, with better actors and characters.

  • guess every1 had their own opinion i thought the cast was wicked in those years i loved vinnie and haley and ric and those characters thought they had an entertaining cast nou doubt every home and away fan wants them to release dvds tho

  • True. But there's plenty floating about on YouTube - no thanks to the Seven Network, of course!

  • I think characters like Roman, made the show alot greater and as you said grittier. I was also a fan on Aiden ever since he came on and he is still cool and funny as.. The days Roman was in the show were the best imo, where that psycho Elliot kidnaps Romans daughter Nicole, that was awesome i was surprised H&A would get like that & be less cheesy. I like the show, although, since Roman left it could have some better storylines. The Hugo/People Smuggling story is getting interesting though.

  • If only we could go back and watch all this again!

  • who is that man of 1:29
