Who made the final decision of which books would make up the Bible, since the Bible itself doesn't tell us? It was the same Church. What was this Church? Scripture, Tradition, history and the Fathers of the Church all tell us it was the Catholic Church. You are not a Christian unless you belong to this Church.

For example the traditional British form of Christianity I was aware of as a child growing up was meek, boring, really quite irrelevant overal but it taught you about the ten commandments - things that are COMMON SENSE to normal people, but a message it can't hurt to drum into children. Compare this to the many, many different radiacl types.. There are some Christians I gladly welcome, but the "Jewish" types I abhor..
