Did not care for Doom 3. I'll tell you that it is one of the most terrifying experiences ever and I could not play it with the lights out but it was not a patch on previous games. You can't make a game better with better graphics and the 'cat-monster' was just seriously way too difficult. This music however, rocks my socks- thanks for posting :)

im agree, the scary thing there is the darkness and screams, but even that make a little boring the game, i preffer the old fashion action than the scary game from the present.

You know what else did i miss in doom 3, the great scenarios from doom 2. Those were great and full of imagination. My favorite one is that called the circle of death.

Totally agreed, DooM was supposed to be a bit scary, and pumped full of action Demon Slaughtering mass destruction. i think they have EPICLY COMPLETELY TOTALLY FAILED! with DooM 3, i mean.. the worst part is, that they didn't had the original monsters, but some lame ass "Oh that looks great! precisely. doom 3's athmoshpere was based on darkness and a feeling of vulnerability of not knowing what would happen if you take another step into the gloomy corridors. the original doom had colorful, vibrant objects and environtments that pop out of the screen, the gameplay had a faster pace as well
