  • According to motortred , the '12 GT-R does 0-60 in 2.9s and not 3.1s....

  • f..k it I luvvv zis caaaaar !!

  • now why our big three cant build something amazing like that?

  • I'm sure its quicka nd handles pretty good, but it has no look appeal to me whatsoever - very boring.

  • 2012 911 is faster again so what's the matter?

  • @Sunthaz If ti wasn't people would go mad.

  • nice car and all, but is there at least one american car reviewer with any personality whatsoever? all the yt vids I've watched certainly say no, these guys put me to sleep. take this guy for example, he's driving THE enthusiasts car here but if you didn't know you'd think he was doing an ad for laxatives. he doesn't give me a sense of the car involving him, and a bit of metal music in the background doesn't make the review cool or edgy.

oh well, thank goodness for Top Gear (UK)

  • @superflea72 Is that what you heard, "metal music"? Lol. I agree with you boring review.

  • @TheOmegaeyes hehe, well you know....some would call it that. I was generalising pretty broadly. ;)

  • @superflea72 The car is amazing, I guess that makes up for the review, haha!

  • @superflea72 I'd rather have him than 60 minutes of Jeremy Clarkson acting like an insufferable twit.

  • @WheatFieldWithCrows really? you'd prefer a bloke droning on with performance figures as if he was reciting the active ingredients of a hemorrhoid cream?

you have your socks labelled by day, don't you?

  • @superflea72

Ideally? No. But I vastly prefer facts instead of the reviewer alternately trying too hard to be funny (and failing) and trashing every car that doesn't meet his absurd, Anglo-centric tastes. Sadly, most UK car reviewers these days seem to be trying their very best to emulate Clarkson these days.

  • @WheatFieldWithCrows facts are fine, I like facts too but there's nothing wrong (and EVERYTHING right) with delivering them in an entertaining as well as informative way - that's what TG does.

and I like all of the TG boys...they all have a different take on the cars, humour, and each other, but there's an underlying mutual respect throughout the whole caper that makes it feel more 'real' somehow to me.

listening to this guy is like reading the spec sheets on a manufacturers website.

  • regarding the price, a dream for the poor, nuff said...

  • 0-60mph 2.9 secs*

  • What's the mpg rating on this car?

  • @isukaman Forget I asked. It's 16/23.

  • @isukaman Thought I heard it was 23 miles highway

  • @Shady4782 ...and 16 in the city.

  • dislikers dont`t like asian power..they like big black cock lol:

  • Great car.. awesome!! but, i can STAND that guys voice XP

  • I love this car but I would still prefer the skyline. Btw can any of you car pros tell me why they put shift pedals by the steering wheel instead of making a standard manual trasmission box? Is it just to change gears faster?

  • @iHsg16 yeah,0.02 seconds if im not mistaken in a gear change,It helps on the momentum, making the car faster! Let me tel you something, this machine has the almost same potential or better than the greatest street legal factory Skyline ever made.THE GTR34 Nismo Z tune. That car for me its the meanest motherfucker ever made, its looks and excellent performance destroys the competition, but the price tag was 250,000. Today, to find that car is extremely hard and to buy it it will cost millions..

  • 2008 GT-R = 480 HP

    2011 GT-R = 530 HP

    2012 GT-R = 550 HP

    is it right?

  • Man, I cant wait till next years!

Or until they put a bigger engine. ;)

(Yes... I like bigger engines. but i noticed thats not the Japanese thing. Cute little toys. :P)

  • don't give a shit bout the bullshit specs the thing is fucking ugly. The r34 was the last good looking nissan supercar.

  • Its still only comes in Dual k auto so.... = pussy.....

  • Was that 2:54 already? Sheesh... that was quick. VERY nice car!

  • fukin luv this shit

  • Kazutoshi Mizuno is a pure genius! i love that mans ideology he thinks about the customers rather than the pride of the company a true Artist!

  • 42 people didn't see the Skyline in the video cause it went by too fast

  • Dislike for the fact that InsideLine rode the car, instead of driving it,

  • i disliked it cause this was a bad road test..

  • There's a new one even faster now ahah it's the 2012 GTR (in Japan 2013 for the rest of the world)

  • ugly

  • 1:29 - It has to be stiff. how on earth you can't predict that?

  • 42 people have bugatti veyron.

  • 42 people waited for vtec to kick in yo

  • Do want!

But in purple and not with these ugly wheels ^^

  • it's nissan not neesan .

    fucking idiot

  • i hate the gtr

  • @kjg772 i hate your mother.

  • @kjg772 Fuck your own shit. Nissan is the best, BITCH

  • @kjg772 because you will never own one, just go woth your 80's corolla

  • arent those spec v rims?

  • @yewuntthu Those are the rims that come with the "black series" option. Also includes a carbon fiber rear wing and leather seats with red trim.

  • @yewuntthu yep

  • soo is this same engine as the other gtr?

  • fucking beautiful

  • Why do they make this car look so generic after all this time? It's has great performance, but the body styling hardly is fitting for the cost of this car.

  • @wardog3d I agree with you 100%... the new Z looks better than the GTR

  • @wardog3d performance is way more then fitting for the price of the car. plus this car was purely built for the track, and its looks are for aerodynamics. even the mirror on the side, channel air to the rear spoiler to create more down force at the rear..

  • beautiful color

  • 74.7mph slalom

    108ft stop

and 1.0motherfucking2 g's on the fucking skid...

Damn... this car is sick... just fucking sick.. out of the factory like that... awesome..

  • Porsche.

  • Not very knowledged on nissan...what is the powerplant setup/output of this 2012 gtr?

  • @ragalyisp It's a twin-Turbo 3.8 L V6 mated with a 6-speed semi-auto transmition. it's the same power plant as the older years but it was reprogrammed and the engine head was entirely redesigned, giving it more torque and power with less fuel consumption.

  • @ruigoncalves2 the transmission is dual clutch

  • Slush Box driver.

  • who is stupid to dislike this?who is that dumb....

PEOPLE if YOU are one of the disliker, please tell me. Why?

  • @Xquu15 i missed the like button.. fuck -.-

  • @Xboxlove1 Lol

  • @Xquu15 because they are just gays who hate technology.

  • @Xquu15 because its just soooo fast i wish my prius was like that!!!!!!!!! :'( lol jk

why would i ever dislike this video

  • @Xquu15 dumb car

  • @Xquu15 cuz they now know they will never have one these cars

  • @spooks1503 probably, or just stupid.

  • @Xquu15 maybe its because they bought the first gtr and than saw this improved version :S haha

  • @Xquu15 They missed...

  • @Xquu15 these propably would be all the corvette and porshe owners ;)

  • @vubevube they be scareeed nissan gtr two times cheaper two times faster

  • @Xquu15 maybe they don't like the car. 45 dislikes aren't that much

  • @Xquu15 I'm not disliking it, but i think the dislikers were porche workers... :D

  • @urbanmadafuka Porsche

  • @24thebeast True! sorry...

  • @urbanmadafuka i think it was nissan workers cause they dont get paid enough

  • @Xquu15 I guess the ppl who dislike this is because they like ferraris, lambos, maseratis and porsches.

  • The daytime running lights are pointless on every single car.

  • @XXXCompAssesXXX not exactly...in some countries like mine for example there are driving laws that make you use the headlights on highways even at daytime. wait, you did refer to headlights, didn't you?:))

  • @MadBlazer89 In America i see it as a waste of time. There's people who have there headlights on in the Blinding Sun.

  • @XXXCompAssesXXX lol jealous yours doesnt

  • greatest car in the world!

  • I've seen a few of these around where i live, and I couldn't believe how huge those exhaust pipes are when you see them in real life!

  • 11.1 sec. Awesome. Now stick that engine in a Z not in a juke so we can stomp mustangs and camaros and so regular guys can buy it.

  • @nismofury that engine in a Z = win

  • there was a car with that tech like 10 years ago and even Top Gear test it..it was a ProDrive prototype. The car was cornering so extremely that Jeremy had to stop to puke.

  • That GT-R moves out like the british at Dunkirk!

  • @AdverbAdjective Nascar Dont even compare the GTR to a Nascar. Nascars only turn 1 way...and let me tell you right now...not all roads are left hand turns =). The GTR is a race car if thats what you use it for. Was it designed for it? Yes, they make a Manuel GTR also if you want to use it for that. For others, they might think that they just want a fun commute thats easy, so they get the automatic. Since your probably 12, you probablyhaven't driven anything better than a jetta or civic either =)

  • I just watched the Camaro ZL1 review.... turns out, these two cars are much alike in terms of performance and handling, just that the Camaro is slower from 0-60mph. Nice car!

  • @AdverbAdjective The GT-R is classified as a sports car. What do you think a "sports car" is capable of doing? Are you saying that Nissan spend millions of dollars for research and built the GT-R to make the travel to the grocery store much faster? Racing has many levels - amateur, Pro, Extreme, Insane! what ever you want to call it... it will still be classified as racing! You really amuse me, how old are you? You really must stop talking before I pulverize you w/ insults.

  • @Blitz4000 Correction, this is not a sports car. It has "Super Car" performance. I'd put this in the likes of ZR-1's, 911 GT2/3, lambo's, etc etc. Everything else, I agree with you. =)

  • @jdbs2009 The GTR is a super car without the Super Car price tag.

  • @jdbs2009 Which means it's not a supercar. ?!? A supercar is an expensive, exotic play thing. This is just a fast car. I bet you it'll start first time after being left in -5degree conditions for a week - a real supercar won't.

  • @danglingslong complete and utter horseshit. In that case nobody builds real supercars anymore. Every supercar has made vast improvements in its reliability. Including the italians. A supercar is something that people say wow when they see it, contrary to all the pretentious nonsense I hear about the gtr not being exotic enough people look when one drives past, so its a head turner task accomplished. Its no italian hypercar like a zonda, but its definitely a supercar.

  • @ztunelover thank you.

  • @ztunelover But people don't look. It's quiet, it's plain looking, it's a little boring. The only reason someone might look is because it's huge. A supercar is an exotic play thing. That's it. They're put away in heated garages for the winter, and enjoyed for a few weekends in the summer. The GTR's just a car.

  • @danglingslong Again absolute and utter nonsense and by your thread of logic a ferrari 458 italia is also just a car, because there is one being driven around in the winter in my city. And people do look, maybe its the size who knows. Its not as flamboyant as its italian rivals but by no means is it boring. Getting whiplash is never boring least of all under acceleration.

  • @ztunelover A ferrari 458 is just a car these days. An automatic gearbox, spacious interior. At least it's very quick.

  • @danglingslong Thats all I needed from you. All you proved in that statement right there is that you are completely fucking retarded, go die in a hole somewhere.

  • @danglingslong Oh yes while we are on the topic of autos not being supercars is an enzo not a supercar? There is one with over a 100k on the odo. What thats just a car? Oh wait you are mentally substandard why am I wasting my time?

  • @ztunelover An enzo has an old single clutch auto - they barely worked, and were only useful when ripping the balls off it. The rest of the time, like all single clutch autos, it was shite. Therefore enzo = supercar.

  • @danglingslong Right so basically a supercar according to you is the one that doesn't really work? No to me thats a borken bit of machinery but what of that daily driven 100k enzo in florida? Has that specific enzo become just a car since its a daily driver? What about the zonda, or the mclaren f1? Rowan atkinsons near 50k mclaren f1? That just a regular car since it gets driven so often. A supercar is a car that does things a normal car cant dream of, techincal cutting edge of whats possible.

  • @ztunelover The cars you mention may have been driven good mileages, but tens of thousands of pounds will have been spent to get them there. Supercars don't really work, that's the point. They stink when you're stuck in traffic, they don't start occasionally for no reason, and they're not even that quick in comparison with cheaper machinery.

And I'm pretty sure Rowan stuffed his F1 a few months ago, but that's beside the point. Great car.

  • @danglingslong And bottom line is you are wrong. A supercar doesn't have to be any of those things. Supercars are the fastest most technologically advanced automobiles on the planet with the sole purpose of being fast to the point of savagery, it is the showcase of whats humanly possible now in the world of cars. Their flamboyance is usually tied into their insane aero and chassis to handle that monumental power. They are the fastest of their time. Always was always will be. GTR is a supercar.

  • This car overtook me a few weeks ago at a junction and that was the fastest (not to mention loudest) car i've ever seen...kudos Nissan, a true monster!

  • sweet car...but not a daily driver!

  • @AdverbAdjective I thought you died for not responding to my insults. Anyway, for a true racer it will be essential if his car can actually maintain its stability so he can improve his tactics, speed, and actually focus on winning. Girly homos is all about smoking tires and actually end up losing the race. Go tell your theory to the entire F1 team, NASCAR, Indy 500, Rally, and everybody else and tell them they're all girly homos for using advance computers in their cars. LMAO!

  • 3.1 seconds wow thats faster then my street bike... if not faster... impressive.

  • The GTR really is a legend. Born from a Japanese saloon car turned coupe, went through many iterations and ended up as a performance coupe. Then dropped by Nissan, then this totally new one came to life because fans demanded it, and now it costs WAY less then a 458 Italia yet can at the very least keep up with one of not beats it. And you can also pick up old models and tune the hell out to them. Great car, the 2012 GTR also thrashes the 2012 BMW M5 into a bloody pulp.

  • Cool car, awful review.

  • Wow, this car is just amazing. The engineering excellence poured into this car is unbelievable. Nissan has a true history of solid sports cars and it really shows in the GT-R.

  • Not as boxy looking now, that's a good start. It's an ok car. Not really a drivers car though and it's hard to get passionate about it. It will be forgotten with the new model just like the last one is now. lol

  • That thing was like a skateboard on the slalom holy shit lmao

  • Badass! Simply badass. Now stick that engine in a Z and make it $30k and nissan will sell the shit out of them

  • thankyou for putting up the proper numbers. its not a 2.7 0-60 like idiots like to believe

  • @AdverbAdjective The overall size of it is just too large for it to be classed as a normal vehicle. If you want something that size, why not just get a truck? The newer f vehicles are huge, inefficient and are bad for the environment. It may suit America where bigger is better, but in sophisticated countries where people actually care about other things, they're useless and selfish. And in most other countries, only selfish people buy them who do not care about anything but themselves.

  • I don't care what this dude says, I've just jizzed.

  • people watching this video dont take advice from these dip shits who make these channels and think they know what they are doing or know what they are talking about cause they don't, they don't know how to drive a car to the fullest and they are american car fan boys who think anything from over seas is crap compared to some american piece of shit. if you want to watch a car put to the test by a REAL race car driver and reviews given by people who dont favor certain cars watch top gear.

  • This machine is built for pure serious performance and not for girly homos who only cares about rims.

  • this car is so gorgeous to bad the wheels look so shitty

  • WOW

  • ofcourse its about making money..

  • hate the rims

  • Nissan GTR racing a train @ 1:10?

  • Comment removed

  • What if Nissan made a real 2 seat supercar? This thing is already wrecking other supercars.

  • wow the sound is sooooooo... barely noticable? performance is awesome but i'am missing the emotions in this car.

  • my dream car :)

  • @JrSkyWarrior25 my family friend has this car :)

  • @JrSkyWarrior25 That's what you said when the 2009 gtr came out. You always don't know what to want...

  • @AdverbAdjective Width is actually quite an issue, 10cm is larger than most people realise, and it's over a foot longer. If we were comparing it to today's f150 ( 2460mm wide and 6195mm long) you can see why I say that the f trucks are so large... And in talking about today's f150 it is over half a metre wider and over one metre longer than the Australian made ute... And this is the smallest f150 by the way.

  • honestly, who could complain about this machine???!!!! its either buy a house or this car and tht guy drives it as if he was getting punishd!! i want this car! GT-R forever!

  • little faggot

  • @AdverbAdjective Okay, the original intention of a ute was that it was the same size as a normal sedan just instead the back was a tray to store things in. So in Australia, the place the ute was invented. The car is infact very similar to the sedan in size (5040mm long, 1899 wide). The 1993 f150 size is (5340mm long and 2010mm wide). And newer f trucks are even larger!!! And I know people who have told me about their friends f trucks being unreliable and have told me to stay clear from them...

  • @AdverbAdjective I did not deny anything. Your just saying that the GT-R uses a piece of technology that is licensed to ford but that piece of technology cannot build a WHOLE GT-R. Nissan built the GT-R not Ford. So, what is the point of bringing out Ford tech licensed crap. Borrowing of some technologies happens all the time even before you were born. You just want to believe something that you want, and your not being realistic. That makes you stupid!

  • @AdverbAdjective Wow! I guess you would also believe that someone can build a house with just a screwdriver. Your dumber than I thought. I think you did not quite understand my sarcasm to you. Borrowing of technology happens all the time between manufacturers but at the end of the day the GT-R still has a Nissan badge and the Mustang together with the GT still has a Ford badge. Don't get me started on what USA borrowed from Japan and Germany though. You'll dry up your brain juice!

  • I'd only get a GT-R if it were sold at an exotics/upper-end dealership. I would never pay ~$100k to be treated like a Nissan customer.

  • still stiff? go buy yourself a fucking minivan, pussy

  • Saw a 2010 - 2011 GTR This morning on the way to school. I'm dreaming of myself in that car.

  • Man this car is worth the money, it has all. The japanese think of everything, its practical but yet deadly.

  • @AdverbAdjective The GT-R uses technology licensed to Ford??...Oh really? I guess you also believe that Star Wars is a true story and Chevy build the Death Star along with GMC's supreme leader Darth Vader.

  • @AdverbAdjective lol fastest car in a straight line only, like you to remember that please, like all american cars they can only go straight

  • I like this car but the fanboy-ism for it is WAY too much for my liking.

  • nice car but ill still take my 40,000 dollar Shelby over it :)

  • @AdverbAdjective Haha, don't even own a ps3, I rarely play games anyway. Secondly, It is really only the USA that have larger parking spaces to accommodate such a large vehicle. Our infrastructure is designed to hold large cars with no issues, just not vehicles that are too large. There is a line between large and excessive and the f trucks are over that line. I am from Australia which invented the Utility (or whatever you guys call it, the pickup). So you might wanna think before you speak.

  • @AdverbAdjective Because they fall apart, thats whats shitty about them. Oh and they take up more than one parking spot, both width and lengthwise. It's a selfish car for selfish people. You may as well buy a proper truck.

  • if jeremy likes it its a good car end of story

  • It sure would make me "stiff"

  • Get behind the wheel, close your eyes, let the car drives itself. = GTR

Driving a car that demands true driving skills = ZR1

  • Even at 100k...

    Cheaper than anything faster.

    Faster than anything cheaper.

    The GT-R is win.

  • I prefer to see Top Gear Review the GTR

  • Oh pleez. The zr1 has launch control too. The gtr is better. And you can turn all that off and make it rear wheel drive only too. Gtr is awesome. Vettes are cool but becoming dated.

  • @nismofury Actually you're right which is why the Corvette C7 is going to be released within the next couple years

  • I wish they made this car in a 6 speed..

  • I just realized that Americans can build cars as sophisticated as this GT-R but they won't do it because they don't need it. The US auto industry is all about making money, nothing more nothing less. They would make more money selling a shitty F-150s rather than GT-R clones. One more reason they won't do it is because their grandfathers are the CEOs of car companies who are just OLD traditional idiotic bastards who will stick to their stupid traditions like a shit on a wall.

  • @Blitz4000 ford gt..? corvette zr1...? viper acr...? all have the rear wheel drive only tradition and they are much faster. and if you had a car company and you sold over 500,000 trucks in america alone a year, would you drop it? you wouldhave to be dumb too.

  • @charliepioneer The 3 cars you've mentioned doesn't even get near the technology that is put in the GT-R. The GT-R might cost less than other cars but the amount of research money that is spended will cost hundreds of millions of dollars. That is what I'm trying to imply about U.S. auto makers...They won't do research, they will make more money selling sub-standard products like the F-150 and also including the your lousy ZR1 or the crappy Ford GT to make "more" money. Get it?

  • @Blitz4000 considering the gt is faster than the gtr, and the zr1 is faster than the gt, and the ACR is faster than the zr1. clearly we are doing something right

  • @charliepioneer JK - you MUST consider the price when discussing supercars!

  • @Draggis92 i agree. for the price, the GTR is amazing value. if i could have one car to live with, it'd be this. but i know that american cars with some effort into them are amazing. the ZR1 keeps up with a murcielago SV even in the turns and is maybe a tad faster in the straights. and the ACR is the best america has to offer in terms of track lap times

  • @charliepioneer Your way of comparing things is apparently very narrow indeed. Think of a piece of wood...The Japanese will make sculptures while the Americans will just make tables and chairs. Both will sell but which is more precious? The old tech used in most American cars really struggles to compete with Japs cars and that is very evident. The only reason why American cars still sell is because of patriots but when those people run out of money...Love is definitely blinding.

  • @Blitz4000 name one car that is faster made by japan then a car in america.

  • @charliepioneer Well, that is a very hard question. Let see........The GT-R and all of the American sport cars in its class I guess. XD Are you trying to be funny because you sure did crack me up! LMAO!

  • @Blitz4000 in its class are the z06, which still beats the gtr despite a huge heavy 7.0 l engine

  • @charliepioneer Try to be in the same model year when comparing cars. The Z06 almost out ran the GT-R but it still doesn't have what it takes. Instead of being a blind patriot why don't you bang on the doors of US car makers and tell them that they are putting shame on American pride. Haven't you realized why a lot of US car brands went down the drain? It's because of blind patriots like you who is unwilling to set standards and still buying crap US cars.

  • @charliepioneer Yea, a huge heavy engine in a car that only weighs 3180 vs one that weighs 3800.

  • @Blitz4000 what kind of pickups in your country have?
