I find it insane that the iPhone is more powerful than this iMac. Isn't crazy how far technology has come?

They basically added everything the iMac already has. Speakers, Modem, Microphone, Keyboard & Mouse. Each of those is a separate cable, plus power to the display, tower, speakers, and modem. So really, its not as overkill as it may appear. There really should be at least 9 different cables (10 if you account for 2 going to speakers).

Lol, im watching this on my brand new imac. But what this commercial displays could not be more straightforward. My new imac has got only 2 wires, Power cable and internet cable. But you should see my old PC sitting next to it! At least 20 wires there!

this is reality. i have an iMac with just two cables, (power, audio) and my brother has pc with more than ten cables. And there isnt even webcam, wlan, bluetooth, etc...

Conclusion: iMacs rule.

@viper002060 They most likely did on length but not on the quantity. I've seen Windows boxes with this kind of insane wiring pattern and it always screamed "fire hazard" to me for some strange reason or another. Hell, my old Windows box had this same kind of wiring pattern. Maybe that's the reason why I use laptops with Windows 7 or something.

I don't really mind connecting so many things to a PC like the modem, microphone, speakers, keyboard, mouse and monitor and taking 30 minutes to set up my own Internet connection, but I like the iMac better.
