  • so i have a 1994 7.3 ford turbo DI diesel...is it bad for it just to leave it cut off before the cat?

  • Dam thats a nice Toyota!

  • @robbsam81 thanks!

  • dream car

  • man ive got a 87 Toyota 2L Diesel..where did you get your header!?

  • @CodyMacRae ebay. i'm selling them soon though, i'm putting a turbo on it

  • @Dauntless244 do a write up on your turbo ive been looking everywhere on how to swap a trubo on mine..my 87 originally had the 2LT in it but the guy i bought it off of swapped ina 2L into it for some reason lol

  • @CodyMacRae Yeah I'll take some photos etc when I put a turbo on it

  • a toyota with a full cab, never seen that before

  • lol nice :) didn't even notice you had this vid when I commented on the other lol love the truck dude

  • ive got a 1994 2.8 diesel how do i make it sound like that ....that sounds AWESOME

  • @brucenzach Put extractors on and no exhaust, or an exhaust with no mufflers.

  • @Dauntless244 so in the uk that means what change the manifold ?

  • @brucenzach I removed the standard manifold and replaced it with a tubular 4-2-1 header.

  • HOLY CRAP!!I HAVE AN 81 YOTA SINGLE CAB I HAD NO IDEA THEY MADE THESE IN 4 DOOR

  • holy crap! i have an 81 yota i had no idea they made these in 4 door! AMAZING

  • I love this truck. NICE! I wish I had one.

  • nice truck!

  • that thing is dope!!

  • Man! I want your engine i have a 22RE in my toyota and i want a L2... The 22RE runs fine but i need just a little more power.

  • @91toyotaoffroader

If you want more power than a 22R, a 2L is not what you want.

  • a 2LT the turbocharged version will have better torque and economy than the 22re, but for more power a 1kzte would be better, it's 3 litre turbo diesel

  • @ConRWD ok ill look in to that... Thanks

  • i think its a 83 i know a guy that had a 82 pick up and i had a 79 pick up U.S.

  • I can guarantee it was built in 1982.

  • Hell yeah! I'd just run a straight pipe out the back with a nice chrome tip. Actually a unique way to make the exhaust is split the header into 2 seperate parts so one header goes to 2 cylinder and the other header goes to the other 2 and make true dual exhaust. It'd be a sound no other 4 banger has!

  • It's far too loud just running straight pipe. It's currently running a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust from header to tip, with a bullet/hotdog resonator, and then a straight through muffler. I have to change the muffler to one I am happy with, then I will post up a video of it.

  • I bet it's loud with no turbo. Are these direct injected or IDI?

  • Indirect pre-chamber design.

  • if toyota brought a diesel like that over to the US i but one the first chance i got

  • nice

  • Lookin good for an "82"

    have an 88,

how much were the header and extractors?

  • Thanks mate. $200 shipped off ebay. It has a full exhaust on it now, but it has a Magnaflow rear muffler and it sounds like crap. When I get a decent muffler on it I'll post a video

  • love this truck. this is what the US needs right now. a light duty diesel. no hybrid crap.

  • I totally agree. I would love to have either a little 2WD diesel pickup with a turbo, or a full size standard cab shortbed with around a 3.5L turbo diesel. Both should be completely mechanical and able to run off of most any fuel oil. Now those would be real "hybrids"!

  • Best truck ever made!!!!!

  • NICE TRUCK

  • brap brap ( . y . )
