@Compantino Yes, my backhand sucked while I was holding the racket stiffly, so grips were same for both of moves, and backhand usually went over table. But as soon as coach showed me to relax hand and let the racket slips in hand according to hand position, my backhand improved :D
@Compantino is my name. I have a confession : I am a 45-year-old shit-eater living in Hungary! I eat shit for a living. When I eat enough shits, I start bullshitting on YouTube videos or playing chicken-shit ping pong with minors at a local blub. So excuse my odd comments.
werner schlager holds the blade forehand the same way as backhand, he means it´s a mistake when you change your grip, you can get in trouble when time is short.
When he services he change holding the blade to get maximum spin.
a normal avrg way of holding it; nothing special; a normal shakehand way of holding it; Fh and Bh (didnt understand it but i think he sad same(gleich)); i think its a mistake to switch the sides due to the possibility of making a mistake -> holding it wrong; i always hold the racket the same way; the only adjustment would be when serving, doing the *wrong* service, i change it only then; i hold it so i can pass this ("hier") so i have more free space for effet; can't help with the jpnese sry ;)

I thought it was illegal to touch the rubber
cptjrkov 2 years ago
It can't be illegal to touch the rubber because in the shakehand grip or even the chinese penhold grip, you're fore finger always touches the rubber.
