@iSteamPunk1 I was speaking from a personal experience, so for me, yes it does. It all depends on the speed of your computer, also I don't believe full screen can be recorded with camtasia. Don't get me wrong it's great recording software and I use it to record other non gaming things.

@th3w4rr10rk1dz You need to be on the directx mode, and in some cases (like mine) you need to close and restart fraps for it to work

What did you use to EDIT your Videos with?

I am normally using Sony Vegas 9.0

And Recording with Camtasia Studio 7.

@simonlarsen1 I used Vegas pro 8 in this but Vegas pro 9 would work just well, maybe even better, I recommend using either Fraps or FastStone Capture, they have equally good quality and very little lag, Camtasia is fine for non gaming things on your computer but for gaming like RuneScape FastStone would cause very little lag.

fast stone is a very good recorder hd recroding nooo lag at all if you have a normal computer its very good

the water mark can be removed from fraps in setting LOL and the downside to fraps is that it can ONLY record in HD. Try record in lower setting like if you wanted to do green screen in your house

I assume your talking about fraps. It has to be in Hd, it doesn't work on standard detail. When you open it, you should see yellow numbers in one of the corners showing the fps of the screen, once you start recording they should turn red,

turn anti - aliasing on 4 , in the runescape graphiccs options turn every thing to high and put your highest resolution in for better gfx :)

ok i dont think i am willing to buy fraps... so if u can tell me what is better.. cam studio or brother soft.. please do.. also tell me any downsides and if there is any pay required... or if its as easy as ownloading hypercam 2.. also if its easy to use.. i dont like hyercam cause it lags and the quality sucks so please help.. ty

well what you could do is just use free trial for fraps and start new recording eveyr 30 seconds or so which even i don't enjoy doing, um cam studio is prolly second best im not familir with brother soft cam studio is free on the other hand idk if i answer your question or not
