@MrLegodad It was the best until those fucking morons single lined a lot of it for RFR. SFB idiots will have to put that double line back in years to come.
You did a wonderful edit job on this, keep my intrest and the 18 minutes didn't seem long at all. Even though I'm in America, and model the Southern Pacific mostly, this line looks like it would be fun to model.
This is great to see the view from the drivers window, amazing how different it looks to looking out a side window.. Sad to see such an awesome corridor of travel being used at such slow speed, our Gov. needs a kick up the arse we should be sitting on at least 200kmh on runs like that .
The tracks are bi directional. One side is rated for 160km/h the other is slower. Trains get the fast track or not according to the train type and its schedule.
This video is a top example of progress under a labour government, we'll take two tracks and make one with passing loops, surprised to even see a freight train on it in daylight.
Yeah, one's a bigger piece of mindless shit than the other one. I'm talking about passenger trains and locomotives. I would actually like to see the companies allow the freight vehicles to be used as a canvas for quality work, just leave the people stuff alone.
lol wow, im not into trains, never considered them an interest but seeing this video got me in the mood for taking a train ride ahhhh reeeeeeeally want to go on a nice train ride through the new forest with my friend lol
thanks for uploading this, its realy gave me an idea of sumthing i fancy doin for a day
Hey. I live in bendigo and have been up this line hundreds of times goin to melbourne for the rugby. What type of loco are you in? It kinda sounds like a T class
Was this taken on friday? The station master at Sunbury told me I had missed a light loco when I went to Sunbury station about 8pm on Friday night to see a grainy.

They're not usually this slow, only during peak hour in Melbourne metro when they're stuck behind metropolitan services.
towrong1 2 years ago
Locomotives not fitted with TPWS safety gear are only allowed 80km/h
Rocketboy1950 2 years ago
Interesting video for sure however the progress was painfully slow Ha!.
Pac-Nat are now running intermodals through the suburbs of Adelaide at 8okm/hr on S.G concrete sleepers.Hope they stay on track.

how slow are these things?!
mallygirl231 2 years ago
The Americans have a really wracked Reail System. Thats the Reason why they have to drive so slow.
Elfin1988 2 years ago
And same in Australia.. The Rail system is not build for High Speed.

How come trains don't just stick to the left? What's with the switcharoo?

Rocketboy1950 3 years ago
really? i'd want to do like connex stuff once they get the boot. and a question do metropolitan train drivers like hate graffiti???
wekwafe 3 years ago
they hate it and would happily look the other way while they ran over the person doing it...well some would anyway.
Rocketboy1950 3 years ago
what about like whole cars, like the whole carriage. you have to give it to the artist that that's bloody insance though.

What kind of units what you in? And great video, 5 rate!

This would have taken hours to get to Bendigo! Surely it's not at real time speed.

We are travelling at 80km/h. Looks can be deceptive as you get higher off the ground.
Rocketboy1950 3 years ago
80km/h....seriously? Looks might be diceptive, but it looks like you're cruising at 30km/h max most of the way.
