I want some sooooo bad, how much did you buy yours for? and my mom is VERY allergic to rodents but i know their in the mongoose family and my mom is normally only allergic to something like a rat or a mouse "we have bunnies" but some rodents bother her and i was wondering if they had any ties to the rodent familly.

I had one for sale a while ago. They are around 200 euro's. They are not related to rodents. They are carnivores....

I used to raise Mongooses in Hawaii-our species is indeed tameble-but not as friendly

as these Dwarf Mongooses in this clip,,they are pretty handsome and cute!

Ferrets get some much more tame.. This are wild animals.

They tend to enjoy more destroying the house... Yesterday they just turned a bonsai vase over the router and killed it...

They are very cute animals indeed. Although they can bite very hard. They are very brave. They want to attack my dog or cat when they come to close to the cage. My dog is scared of them even the dog is 13 kilogram and one dwarfmongoogse weights 0.3 kilogram.

Mine are bred in captivity and i am trying to breed with them also. Not easy.

They are sometimes imported from the wild also. I would not recommend buying animals taken from the wild. They will never trust you.

To me they are very friendly. I can feed them with my hands en pet them i little. I am the only one who is allowed in their territory. But i can not hold them. Sometimes one escapes and runs around in my livingroom. When I try to catch them they get nervous and can bite. I am building an outdoorcage for them 5 times as big as the one they are in now. .

They are very activ in the morning. Always playing and digging. In the afternoon they sleep most of the time under their hotspot.
