  • Saw this band back in 2007 cuz a friend likes them and when I was at there concert I felt so out of place this I not something I would listen to

  • What the fucking fuck

  • you look at this dir en grey and the dir en grey of now and you'd swear they were different people 0_0

  • The bass, I swear the bassline in this song is one of the reasons why i am so in love with Toshiya.

  • shit!... 4 string! thought it's 5 ... >.<

  • Dat bass <3

  • The bassline is so catchy!

  • Love Yoshiki-San. X Japan TOUCH on this beautiful song...

  • Don't know why, but i think that Kyo's eyes look so innocent here O.o and beautiful :D

  • THE BASS IN THIS SONG IS SO GOOOOOOOOD

  • I actually love Kyo's voice..

  • Shinyas hair looks funny x''D

  • and how old is this? I almoast cant see that its Kyo-sama xD

  • @inoharu123 somewhere back around 99.

  • @shinigamisnight ah... back to when I was around 1 year old xD

  • @inoharu123 I feel old now....

  • @shinigamisnight I feel young now...

  • Thanks for uploading this! It's been ages since I've listened to their older music. <3

  • HOW DOES HE GET HIS HAIR LIKE THAT !!!!!!

  • this is my favorite der en grey song!!! my fav is kyo and totchi!!!

  • i love this song.

  • Oh Kaoru......

Diru is the best band. They excel in everything-did back then and still do.

  • i LOVE how they sound just as good on the album as they do live

  • toshiya kicks ass. Bass solos are love

  • wait that singer is man 0_0

  • THE HELL!! I GOT THE DVD YEARS AGO BUT I WAS SO STUPID AND LOST IT!!!!!

    *kills himself*

  • the bass sounds good :D

  • you think... you can put up the full concert DVD somewhere to watch?

*siigh* I have to go to the next anime convention and kill the first person with vintage diru DVDs and stuff...

  • I've got the rest of this concert as well as one of the DVD's from the Withering era on my desktop...but I'm mostly on my laptop now. Maybe if I decide to stop being lazy one day I'll upload the other songs and stuff but...right now that's looking kind of unlikely. School and whatnot, yano?

  • lol, thanks anyway. I've been looking through Dir en grey blogs and I found some people who posted it up. ^_^

  • @TheMCBatcommander What is the dvd called and do you also have a download link or torrent?

  • my all time fave of dir en grey.. (l) it

  • this is an amazing live performance, please don't ever take it off :)

  • Lol, why would I? :D

  • Oh shit, OP here, don't bitch and QQ about how they are "different" now, music evolves, it changes, it keeps it interesting. How boring would it be if music was always the same, if bands kept their same sound and released albums that didn't really try anything new? Fuck that. Diru takes chances, and if they lose some fans, fuck them, they didn't really support Diru in the first place if they can leave them so easily.

    /rant.

  • That being said, enjoy the music, or don't, I really could care less. I put this up because I love their music and I know a lot of other people do, too. New stuff, old stuff, who cares?

    Enjoy it, that's all.

  • i could not have said that any better myself ^^

  • i agree 100% all the way i love all of dirus changes old and new

  • @TheMCBatcommander i agree, my only complaint is that kyo kinda killed his singing voice, i was listening to some 2011 lives, and struggles to hit the higher notes now.

  • @Needless957 It was before but now if you watch some live from America where they play Dum Spiro Spero songs he can now sing high notes again ^^

  • they rock!

  • couldn't agree more

  • Well yeah its Dir en grey.

  • oh shit, kyo did a magic trick 3:09 XD

i don't think kyo's voice has changed as much as people make it seem, if anything he has more range now.

  • hell yeah a magic trick xDDD

Yes, I agree, I don´t think that his voice has changed so much, when he sing in a normal way, not so high as he sing these days and not screaming or growling, his voice is normal. You can listen it in Shokubeni, in that version which came out with new singel.

  • haha, they got banned for osaka jo hall after this cincert cuz so many wild fans up-rooted the chairs. lol

  • really? can u tell me whats the full story on why they got banned?

  • its in an interview with Kaoru and Die and he's like "yeah...we havnt been able to play there for like 8 years now because during our first (and last) show at OJH, everyone was uprooting the chair and stuff so we got banned Y.Y" you know like famous Osaka Jo Hall concert in '99? yeah. thats it.

  • can you explain "uprooting"?

  • XD they recently played there though, did osaka jo hall un ban them XD

  • Kyo's voice just isn't the same anymore :(

His voice is still good and Dir en grey hasn't lost any of there goodness over the years.

But i still wish Kyo had his old voice

  • you mean you wish he'd sing instead of screaming?

  • only sometimes i wish he had is old voice

  • i dont think his voice is much different. it sounds little....more mature. but i think its the way he sings. if he chose to sing the songs he used to, it would be the same i think.

  • Hmmm... the funny thing is... I don't remember writing this o.O

  • I love Kyo's Hair :D

    it's so fluffy ^__^

  • i like being able to hear totchis bass in thie song, u can hear it throughout it all unlike the pv, hes so talented

  • My first Diru album was Withering to death. and I've bought the other two released in the US since. I heard this song though and without thinking decided to get Gauze. I can proudly say I like both old and new stuff by them. Great band and a very talented vocalist.

  • yeah, they're one of the only bands who haven't evolved in a bad way as they got old

  • sugoii

  • 微妙に早いw

  • kyo has such a unique voice.

i wish dir en grey's songs were like their old ones, like this one D: and i wish they were still all visual kei. I still like them though =] im going to see them in concert in a few weeks.

  • Kyo. *_____*

  • why is the song fking fast? --

  • dir en grey = rockssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss sssssssssssssss sss ss

  • that was reply to bates XD

  • simply spiffing show of ssssssssss!

    jolly well done.

  • I do love their old stuff... And the bass in this song is freaking godly!

  • I say in a way, the bass solo's overrated. It's good, but it's not good enough so that people should talk about it more than the whole song itself.

I don't know, rate me down or whatever.

    Just my opinions.

  • I don't think it's the solo, I just like the entire repetitive bassline. And Kyo's pinky trick. Where did his pinky go??? :O

Oh, and his vocal differences like the growl in Kowashita and his high Oshiete Yo-oh!

So yeah, the whole song is good, yes. But I like Toshiya's bass solo. XD

  • Oh, I see what you mean, haha. Sorry about misinterpreting what you meant. x_x

  • It's not overly technical or a musical masterpiece, but it's simply a beautiful melody that is quite memorable. At least, that's why I like it.

  • I love kyo's hair <3

  • why have they changed so much?? T.T

I prefer their old stuff, eventhough I still like them and their new songs.. but the old, just was.. more melodical and so on u.û

  • Well their new stuff has melody too, but there old image and performances were more thought out and it was more like an actual show. I saw them last year at the House of Blues, and while it was the best concert I'd been to hands down, their act was very similar to a lot of American bands now.

But in a way thats why I like Diru; they're not afraid to try new things and experiment and reinvent themselves. It keeps them feeling new and fresh.

  • yeah , i like this old songs bether than what they make now. But they are still the best (Y)

  • I love old visual kei Dir en grey

  • I like their old style and new, but yes, their old visual kei-ness was better.

  • Yes!!! This is awesome!!!

  • dear god i am complete O_O

  • I'm happy for you, lol.
