  • As cringe-worthy as some parts of the TV Movie were, it did have a lovely title sequence and theme.

  • i acutrally liked the movie and no im not one of those people who only started like doctor who just because of david tennant ive been a fan my hole life but infact Paul Mcgann is my favourate doctor

  • Nice. Though why did you put the end credits there? Basiclly a black screen. But still lovely.

  • Noooooooo!!!!!!!!!! The americans gave the doctor 13 lives!!!!! Whyyyyyyyy!!!

  • @OmegaBrick Actually, the 13 lives thing came from a classic Who episode... the title eludes me. Can't belive I can't remember it. *headdesk*

  • this movie wasnt so bad. it felt like a rather long doctor who filler episode but its not too bad. DOCTOR WHO MOVIES NEED DALEKS! NUFF SAID! i know there are people that think doctor who is better with out daleks but to me unless there are daleks or cybermen the whole show is just filler!

  • @SirWillig But there was daleks... Riiight at the title sequence it was the daleks who executed the master... XD... I mean they decided to mention the daleks. anyway they probably didn't have the stage props at the time.

  • @spikespeed125 they wernt daleks they were smurfs lol

  • well this movie was a good attempt to bridge old and new who it was a great movie but I watch doctor who because I like the randomness this movie was kinda predictable

  • Lets be honest, if this movie was really that terrible, why is it considered as part of the entire timeline?

  • okok omg people are saying this is a waste of time why watch it, you decided to watch the whole thing because well you might have secretly enjoyed it

  • i may not be american but i do quite like this movie

  • i wish people would stop saying this movie sucked, it was good, and it showed that doctor can return on tv in any way it wanted to, british, american, korean, anyway

  • I like it how people say the Americans ruined Doctor Who with this movie. Yet it wasn't a success and the series was never created because of it.

  • love it!!!

  • be thankful they air doctor over their and there is no change whatsoever

  • This film was not great, but it was not terrible. Yes it was American, but Paul McGann was a potentially good Doctor who never got a chance and I actually really like the opening. My main problem with the movie is that it wasn't as epic as it could've been. It all felt horribly small and confined.

  • you have just repeted it

  • this is wat i have for season 33

using my ideas leading up to tv movie

Bloodharvest, The Gateway, Embrious, War Child, The Arc Of Talgaro, The Game Of Death, The Enamy With-In(tv movie) Shada 2, Storm Warming Sowrd Of Orion, Stones Of Venice, A Minuet In Hell

  • damn id like to see this one day - russel t davies quoted that it contained some of the best moments of doctor who - also i guess it was way too americanised to impress the americans , for example , maybe they were into quite dramatic and epic dramas , and us - the english , could watch the tv series of classic who like normal , the fusion between the two probably made some fans and new viewers dislike it.

  • Hey, I'm american {Though I regret it} and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEEEED that movie! I think it was my favorite episode!

  • It always gets me that Skaro bit as annoying!

  • I'll be honest I liked the film's story. But the whole thing was terribly americanised, only thing that let it down in my opinion. Personally I see the movie's failure as a good thing, had all gone well, Doctor Who wouldn't even be a british televsion series anymore.

  • I agree. It was way too americanised. Not that that's a bad thing in all cases, but it certainly is for Doctor Who because this is a show that is defined by it's 'Britishness'.

  • True, I read a book on what they were going to do, and it said they would 'restart with a new first Doctor. The master is his brother and...' and it just got worse and worse.

  • The master as his brother? Lol that would be like.

"Doctor.. I Am Your Brother" "Noooo"

    :S

  • That was great. can you tell me how to get that because I could really use this. thanx

  • LOL

  • oh shut up!

i think that its one of the best movies out there

  • hi there nice vid could i please have the right to re upload with a slightly diffrent graphics

  • Wow this is great, im soo using this, if thats ok wth yu, its so good x

  • 2:41 acctually

  • Fair deuce.

  • i were about 2 say that

  • lol grate minds think alike

  • true lol

  • Agk. Great but the audio is a bit messed up. I can only hear the right-hand channel.

  • This frightened me for a minute. I thought my speakers were broken

  • In the normal theme the rocks don't keep coming.

  • hey where can i get this version of the theme?

  • rip it from you-tube with your preferred service

  • You can't get it.

  • oh dang! that sux!

  • thanks for this

  • They shoulda kept Ainley...

  • this movie is on tommoro on the sci fi channel in the uk.

  • Oh, and as for this video, I'm impressed. I've never seen this in blank before..

  • Guys.

    Stop slagging the movie.

Yes its American. Yes its not British. Yes, it wasn't actually that good, but it still stands as solid entertainment. It was epic-ish, and shows that Doctor did deserve another chance on TV.

  • I just saw series 4 episode 13. Now I'm more convinced than ever that the British do Doctor Who better than anyone else

  • Sorry, but I don't think the Americans got this movie right. I'm not saying The Doctor should never have stories set in America but the plans for the series that was supposed to follow on from this was a bunch of remakes of classic stories set in America the majority of the time. Sorry, Doctor Who is British through and through. U do an American version and u take something away from the character

  • Look I really am sorry but look at this movie compared to the classic series and the 2005 onwards one. They are much better than this movie, I am forever greatful that this was not continued into a regular series, although I think the eigth doctor had potential

  • how'd ya do this Grant?

  • Dreadful american star trekisation of a quintessential british programme's titles. Much prefer the old ones to this!

  • So you don't like the new series much?

  • that music is

    AWSOME

  • I think the music is the only thing we yanks got right!

  • Yeah you can always reply on America to ruin the best things to come out of Britain. Strange how we ALWAYS have to put up with whatever they give us, but anything we give them they have to stick their noses into!

  • yea! a comment well done mellowNdark.

  • I love Smallville and other shows to come out of America but ever since Doctor Who came out in Britain, its like they can enetertain far more with 13 45 minute episodes than say Smallville can with 22 1 hour episodes. I still watch them but Doctor Who is really a highlight of the year I look forward to. If I miss Smallville I'll try to watch it again but I'm not all that bovered. If I miss Doctor Who I'm gutted.

  • Shame that Doctor number eight never got to fight the Daleks, not on screen anyway. Actully has he ever fought them in the books/ audio/ comics?

  • Look up Terror Firma and buy it if you can. One of the best Audio Dramas. Daleks vs. Doctor vs. Davros.

  • Audio:

    Time of the Daleks

    Terror Firma

    Blood of the Daleks

    Novels:

    War of the Daleks

    Legacy of the Daleks

  • Thanks alot

  • And comics:

    Fire and Brimstone

    Children of the Revolution

  • @mellowNdark i just want to vote you up ten million billion times

  • This is cool! There are some bits where you can see that it's cutting, but still... cool!

  • how did u do that?!? its amazing!

  • Not exactly rocket science

  • very easily done !!!

  • where did u get that?

  • HOW DID YOU GET THE CREDITS OFF? GREAT!

  • He recorded the sound seperately, and just cut bits of the time tunnel where there were no credits. In the film you only saw asteroids once: here it's regular

  • I've only just realised, but there is quite a bit missing! Where is the bit with the master being exacuted? It just jumps straight to the explosion!

    Apart from that, it's great...

  • i hadnt noticed that! which is silly because its soo ruddy obvious 2 me now. its still done pritty well

  • i love the music and the video

  • ****** amazing!!!!!!

  • could you send me the beggining credits muted? Thanx.

  • Amzing! Well done and thanks!
