From the Daily Mail website (hardly a paper that's favourable to Clegg or the LDs), it is stated that Clegg set fire to some cacti whilst on an exchange trip to Germany. He did not burn down the greenhouse, did not get charged with arson and thence could not have been convicted. This is entirely in line with what Clegg stated during this radio interview. So, NO LIES and much of the comment below is both ignorant, fact-free, hysterical and verging on the libellous.

I agree it's wrong to say he was convicted, yes muggers and killers should have the book thrown at them, but the injustice this video's highlighting is that Clegg agrees with jailing youngsters who in some cases committed crimes often far less serious than his own

I have to humbly disagree; Nick Clegg hasn't got enough of a backbone to be called a "prick" or a "dick", so in that regard "cunt" suits him much better. Or perhaps "worm-infected asshole" if you now want to make it gender neutral and make sure you include something with as much of a spine as Nick Clegg has showed himself to have.
