this was finally lisa hartman's chance to be showcased as the centerpiece in a series which she so richly deserved after being a supporting character on knots landing for years. this show was more exciting in its first four episodes than melrose place was during their first and second seasons. we all know that melrose place didn't heat up until the third season. god, the music in the opening for this series is delicious. it makes you think that some hunks are about to get nekid.

This show was so interesting right from the very first episode. If I recall it was snatched off the air in no time -- maybe just 5 episodes. It was so good to see Lisa again after her wonderful time on KL. TV doesn't have shows like this anymore and I can never understand why.

Thx so much for posting this clip. I was a senior in high school when this show debuted and it brings back many memories. I have always loved the opening theme song and the show's soundtrack---James Newton Howard, if you ever read this, please release this track on iTunes or something. It still kicks ass after 17 years ;-)

Another great show cancelled. CBS was always great at destroying promising new shows!

This could have lead anywhere, with many mysterious new characters & plot twists & turns each week.

Savannah was another great nightime soap!

Maybe both will find new life on DVD one day!

Oh I had no idea it was broadcasted the same night. I read somewhere that primetime soap was Nielsen rated 2nd ! It'a shame it was cancelled. Tuesday Knight was TERRIFIC !

It was an awesome show.I read that it was cancelled because Aaron Spelling,who also produced Melrose Place at the time wanted CBS to move 2000 Malibu Road because it was killing MP in the ratings,CBS refused so he shut down production of this show.Too bad!

This soap was EXTREMELY popular. If it had not been cancelled, it would have been the soap of the 90's.
