I've only ever seen two huge meteorites in my life.

Meaning the kind that light up the whole sky and look like someone's shining a flashlight in your face for several seconds.

One was two and half years ago and the other was mid last years. The second one I was like "oh fuckkk..." thinking it would just hit the Earth and explode or something, cus it was so big and bright hahah

the advantages of taking walks at 3AM, you get to fear complete destruction of the Earth briefly every so often.
