first heard this being dropped to a mates house by my godbrother and his mates on their way to do something. didn't appreciate it at the time but looking back, this was the perfect soundtrack to being in a bashed up hatchback at night in the worst parts of the city. good times, i guess.

@MegadriveMarty so which 'urban' songs are you referring to? lol samples were being used 10 - 15 years ago as well - early hardcore and jungle were built on break samples, and lots of people basically ripped off popular dance tracks by sampling the melody and puttting a sampled breakbeat over it. garage as well - vocal samples, and pop remixes, so i don't see your point at all
