Well one time one neighbor decided to turn his hose on one of the bird in a tree. The poor bird fell out of the tree, was captured, and is now a stuck as a pet. Poor little guy :(
Why not just make it illegal to capture them? There is no longer any sense that the government should just stay out of a situation, especially when they are curing a problem that doesn't even exist.

I think that the city of San Francisco should allow people to continue feeding the Parrots.. Maybe they could set up City Run stands where tourists and other could buy GOVERNMENT approved feed for the parrots in the places where the birds congregate.. If they did so they would be killing two birds with one stone , no pun intended, because they could MAKE MONEY and make sure that the birds only would be getting fed a proper diet.. This birds are a TOURIST ATTRACTION which generates MONEY.

It should be. Someone stupid might feed it choclate or avacado or whatever it is your not supposed to feed them. That doesn't mean that everyone does but still. It takes One person.
You see them in mt view as well ,not sure if there the same as the ones in SF... But nice to look at like 1,000 of them
