Such a sweet and beautiful song by Annette. Her songs always make me smile and make me feel happy. This should have been a big hit for her. Thank you so much for posting this song here where we can be reminded of Annette from that wonderful time in music from the late 50's and early 60's when music had such an innocence to it.
"Teenage Wedding" was a non-hit, non LP 45 RPM single in 1963. The flip side was "Walking and Talking," which she also performed on the show and you can see here on YouTube.
I always loved Disney Rock N' Roll, and I thought Annette's records were a combination of talented middle-aged song writers writing rock and roll-ish pop tunes for a teen-aged performer. I always found the results to be an interesting mix of old and new, and many of those records were pretty catchy!! You have to love "Pineapple Princess" and "Tall Paul" and Hayley Mills' "Let's Get Together"...
OMG, I love this song!!!! I never knew that there was a video to this song. I have the 45rpm single of this song. The flip side is "Walkin' and Talkin'".
The songs are from the compilation LP called "Maurice Chevalier & Hayley Mills Take You To Teen Street" . This single was released in 1963. The single was released with a picture sleeve of Annette in the wedding gown, but is a very rare sleeve to find.

I can't believe that Annette is wearing her wedding costume from the movie of Babes in Toyland. (Sigh) I wish that I could have that wedding dress. I can see my self wearing that wedding dress for my wedding.

It was only changing times that kept this one down - if it were 1959, it would've sailed right through - Thansk for psoting

I had this record by ANNETTE as a 45 rpm single, and it was also featured on the
hard-to-find LP "Teen Street" ~ I don't however, remember this TV show - was it a
regular National TV program? I was always surprised that this record didn't do a
little better on the Pop charts.
