If Huck's "surge" is a miracle, He (Mike) is giving credit to Jesus (God) for it. Mike can not explain it. Mike is not taking credit for it. It certainly is, at least, an amazing, genuine grass roots movement.

What Huckabee doesn't say is that *ALL* of the elections have happened because of Divine providence. Any truly biblical view of providence demonstrates this. If you read the scriptures they clearly state that it is God that establishes governments and nations.
That includes bad leaders who are sent as a judgment on the nation and on the world. (cf the Assyrians)
Huckabee's surge is definitely God's will or it wouldn't be happening. The question is - is it a blessing...or judgement?
